Dr. Hal Hershman graduated from Penn State University in 1974 and Temple University School of Dentistry in 1978. He is a member of the American Dental Association and continues his training with the Montgomery-Bucks and Delaware-Chester Dental Societies. He has postgraduate training in orthodontics and provides therapy to intercept problems in early childhood. He has provided traditional braced orthodontics to adults and teens since 1982. Now, he also provides Invisalign therapy to his patients. He is a Preferred Provider for Invisalign placing him with the top Invisalign dentists in the country.

Hal lives in Gwynedd Valley with his wife Fran. She is the department chairperson of special education at Penndale Middle School. They have two children, Jessie and Evan. Evan is a traffic and transportation engineer for a private company near the Inner Harbor of Baltimore.He has the pleasure of working side by side with his daughter, Jessie, everyday.

Hal spends his free time as an avid bicyclist. He also enjoys tennis and swimming. Hes a certified scuba diver and has logged many hours in the waters of Mexico and the Caribbean. He truly loves the Floridian weather and has a vacation home near Naples where he escapes to on a regular basis.

Dr. Jessica Hershman is a graduate of Penn States Schreyer Honors College and received her dental degree from Temple Universitys Kornberg School of Dentistry. She is an active member of the Montgomery Bucks Dental Society, the Pennsylvania Dental Association, and the American Dental Association (ADA). Dr. Jessie had two unique opportunities for dental mission work. The firstone she provided dental care to the people of Jamaica. Locals would wait for hours to be seen to have much needed dental treatment. The lack of access to care makes it difficult for the people of Jamaica to get regular dental care.

The second trip was to the town of Jeremie, Haiti. In Haiti, she provided dental extractions with no running water or electricity. Each day the group would drive up to two hours away to different towns to reach as many people as possible. Lines of people would form before the group even arrived. The group would work until the sun set, trying to help as many people as possible.

Dr. Deem is a licensing examiner for the Commission on Dental Competency Assessments.He is proficient in all aspects of dentistry including implants, root canal therapy, cosmetics, and crown and bridge. He is an avid golfer and Temple sportsenthusiast. Dr. Deem is the Temple University Athletic Departments team dentist.
