Dr. Brito was born in Salem, MA and attended Salem High School. He received his B.S. degree in psychology, biology, and chemistry at Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, CT. He received his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Boston University School of Dental Medicine, and then completed his General Practice Residency at StonyBrook University.
During his General Practice Residency, Dr. Brito learned how to perform complex procedures like implants, root canal therapy, surgical extractions, pediatric dentistry, full mouth veneers and full mouth rehabilitation. After residency, he practiced in New York City for a couple years. Dr. Brito started missing his family and the Boston atmosphere, so he decided to move back and start his own dental office! Dr. Brito prides himself on taking hundreds of hours of continuing education every year.
Dr. Brito currently lives in the South End. His mother and father still live in Salem, MA, which he still sees every week for Sunday Dinner. His brother Paul and sister-in-law Dali live in Miami. In addition to English, Dr. Brito is fluent in Spanish, Portuguese, and Brazilian. On his free time he likes to excersize, spend time with his family and friends, and watch Boston Sports teams.

I've been coming to Dr. Brito for almost five years. Everyone at Dr. Brito's office is warm and welcoming from the second you walk in. They are incredibly efficient, always on time and so friendly. They do a wonderful job overall and I always leave having had a great experience. Couldn't recommend Dr. Brito and his staff more!

Dr. Brito and staff are simply the best in Boston! Have been going for a few years and Joyce gives the best cleanings I've ever had. Very gentle, never too aggressive and always makes sure you feel comfortable. Everyone is very professional and office is clean. Can't recommend a dentistry more if you're looking for a new spot in Southie/Boston.

I have been a patient of Dr. Brito and his team since 2020. I normally hate going to the dentist but the team here go above and beyond to take care of their patients. It starts with a smiling face at the front desk when you walk in, the helpful scheduling with Bruna, and continues with the gentle and effective cleaning with Joyce and Carina. I can tell how much everyone cares, but they also work expediently to make sure you are in and out in an efficient manner. Dr. Brito always checks in, as well and I've never felt rushed if I have a concern. Recently, I went in for my first professional whitening and the results are unbelievable. Joyce walked me through the process before we started and continued to check in along the way. I'm so pleased with the results and cannot wait to make this part of my annual routine. Huge thanks to the great team at Brito Family Dental for making a necessary dentist visit that much more enjoyable.

TLDR: highly recommend this fantastic family practice. We actually don't dread going to the dentist. In fact, it feels like going to see family we like. I initially found this practice because their hours are so amenable to people who work during the week. Dr. Brito is friendly, knowledgeable, and explains things well to laypeople. He addressed a long standing tooth problem skillfully and pain free. Katelyn is our dental hygienist who is so friendly and meticulous with our cleaning. They broke all the scary childhood trauma of painful dental visits. I actually keep up to date with my dental appointments now!

Struggled to find a reputable establishment in the area but so glad I found Brito Family dental! They are incredibly professional, knowledgeable and just generally friendly and accommodating. Most importantly they are very respectful of my time which is so hard to come by! 10/10 highly recommend - you won't find a better dentist in the area.
