Dr. Gina Pham grew up in Denver, Colorado where she received her undergraduate Bachelor of Science from the University of Colorado. After Graduation from Howard University, College of Dentistry with her DDS, she focused on her specialty training in pediatric dentistry at the University of Pittsburgh, School of Dental Medicine. In 2002, Dr. Ginacompleted her residency training andearned her certificate in Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Ginahas been practicing Pediatric Dentistry in private practice and have only beentreating infants, children and adolescents for over 15 years.
She is aDiplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and is currently a member of theAmerican Academy of Pediatric dentistry , Virignia Society of Pediatric Dentistry and the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology.
She always triesto find ways to improve herself andhelpkids in her community. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, son and her little dog. When she is not spending time with her family, Dr. Ginaenjoys reading, movies and swimming at her gym.
Dr. Peter Shim earned his Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of California, Irvine, where he graduated summa cum laude. He completed his dental training at the University of California, Los Angeles School of Dentistry, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. He then completed his residency in pediatric dentistry at the Bon Secours St. Marys Hospital of Richmond. He is currently a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the Society of Pediatric Sedation.
Dr. Shim enjoys working with children of all ages, and he is excited to join the team. He is always eager to acquire additional knowledge and learn new techniques, and his goal is for all his patients at Britestars Pediatric Dentistry to have a pleasant experience.

The staff and doctors are amazing with kids: friendly, encouraging, and engaged. My 3yo was so excited both before and after their visit. It's a year later and my kid still loves this place! The staff is friendly and focused on him the whole time. The atmosphere, from the games in the waiting room to the movies on the television screens, is designed to relax kids and make the experience fun.

The staff at BriteStars Pediatric Dentistry of Lakeridge are amazing. My son had an emergency dental issue and they were able to see him the same day. They were friendly, professional, patient, and kind. Thank you for helping my son!!! You all are rock stars!!!

My children have been going to this dentist office for over a year now and I must say that they are the most friendly stuff I have met. My son is very scared of the dentist and stuff walks him through everything step by step. Today was our check up and they made sure my family was seen in a timely manner. And baby I have a large family. I loved that too about this office because its hard to a appointment for 3+ kids. Take your children here if you look for a friendly office.

I was recommended to them for cavity fillings for my son through the Cigna website. A very good experience. It's a nice themed office. The receptionist and doctors are so nice. My son is very comfortable with them. They didn't a great job with the laughing gas and surgeries.

I took my daughter there yesterday and it was awesome.. Everyone was great,the staff altogether was very nice my daughter was very pleased she loved the dentist and the dental assistant.This is the place to be for your children

So great! Super fast! Super nice to my son! Dreads the dentist and scared, but they did their best to make him comfortable. And they were done in 15 mins with a filling. I will be back!
