NEVER USE THIS OFFICE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE. THEY ARE UNREASONABLE AND INCOMPETENT. Do not use this dental office under any circumstances. The front office staff is unprofessional, incompetent, and unreasonable. I have never once in my life refused to pay or contest a medical bill. I respect medical providers and the hard work they do. But this office acted in such bad faith and lack of respect for their patients, I had no choice but to contest their unfair and unreasonable charges. They failed to properly check what my insurance would cover for a routine procedure. This step would have taken them less than five minutes. Instead, they lied and misled my wife and I, assuring us that they had indeed checked our insurance. Once we discovered their lie, they admitted they had not verified the information and had relied on an incompetent company to provide this data. Instead of giving their loyal patients who have paid on time and without problems the benefit of the doubt, they decided to shift the cost of the procedure on to us. They admitted the third-party company they used was incompetent, just like them, and fired the organization. Yet, they continued to insist we were to carry the cost of their mistake. NEVER USE THIS OFFICE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE. THEY ARE UNREASONABLE AND INCOMPETENT.

Initially we loved everything about this office, as we only had basic exams and cleanings. My husband had gone to them, so I finally decided to. I had exam, x ray and cleaning. Dr Bashar Ahmedo gave me info regarding dental implants for the 2 teeth I had removed years before. I wanted to pursue my dental implants now. 2 dental implants and bone grafts thru their office cost approximately $4500-5000 with insurance. Insurance pays $1000-1300 of that amount. So it's a big chunk of money! I asked on two different occasions to confirm that my insurance pays a portion (which Maryann confirmed each time with a print out of details) and then planned the procedure around my deductible. I paid my portion of $600 at time of service. A couple weeks after, they call saying my insurance refuses payment. I asked why, the office manager Maryann says our plan changed and implants are not covered. I said, wait a minute, how did my plan change in the last 30 days? She said she didn't know and that I would have to take it up with insurance, but in the meantime I owed an additional $692!! I called insurance, they said no one from that office ever called in my behalf to confirm coverage! And that if they looked it up online without a member ID they would not get detailed info regarding my group plan or that I was even a member! If they used the member ID, tho, coverage would clearly show my plan DID NOT include implants! (Then I never would have had the procedure!!) My plan changed not in the last 30 days, it changed 3 years ago!! When I presented this info, Maryann said they hire a third party company to confirm benefits and that my husband should have notified them 3 years ago that our plan changed. I said how do I know that he didn't tell you and you just didn't update it? Or if we weren't notified of a change and never got new cards, how was I supposed to communicate that? I asked why didn't anyone check my insurance coverage since I was a new patient when I came in the first time just a few weeks prior? They said the way their system works they don't check details regarding insurance groups under insurance companies, even if several groups exist. She said it's not their responsibility to! I said what did you think I meant when I asked twice if I had coverage for dental implants? And what information were you coming back with verifying for me that I did? They get third party info from a general site that uses no personal identification to verify individual coverage! It's just a generic site that says basically 'this insurance company provides this type of coverage under certain circumstances, but you have to verify the individual coverage by the employee member ID' , which she admitted they never used! Even tho I was a new patient!! She said she was sorry and there was nothing she could do. I said actually there is, you can make the company you hired responsible for my bill or the doctor can waive the fee since this is not my fault. After over a month of arguing, she offered to take $100 off, a meager amount considering I never would have spent a dime getting the service done in the first place if they had actually checked to see if my insurance paid any portion of the procedure!! She then said they fired the third party company realizing their fault and not wanting any future problems for their patients. I said, I'm the one that identified the mistake in your system, why isn't anyone compensating me for revealing this? By your own admission, it's their fault and not mine! She refused any further conversation or adjustment to my bill. I said is this really worth losing 2 clients, thousands of dollars from future procedures, referrals to friends and family and a bad review?! She didn't care. I am filing a formal complaint with the dental board. So now I have a grand total of $1100 bill, with only a halfway done dental implant that I won't be able to complete. I spent $1100 in their office to be disrespected and defrauded.

I love working with Dr. Ahmedo. He is fast, friendly and very careful. He cares about his clients and makes the dental process as easy as possible.

Coming from somebody who has been in the Dental field for 14 years. Dr. Ahmedo has not disappointed me. From the front office to the back office, everybody was very kind and friendly. I am always greeted with a smile. Not only is Dr. Ahmedo an excellent dentist, he is also very caring and makes sure that his patients are comfortable 100%. As much as i have helped patients, i have never been comfortable being in the dental chair myself. I've always been afraid of needles and being in a doctors office in general. Dr. Ahmedo is very gentle, especially with the anesthetic! I have only had two visits with them, but they definitely won't be my last. It is such a relief to finally find a dentist you can trust!!!

I used to hate going to the dentist and avoided it for a few years, but Dr. Ahmedo and his team is amazing. Alexa was incredibly helpful in looking into my insurance coverage and even waited on the phone for hours to get a hold of my insurance on my behalf. Nicole was careful and meticulous in the cleaning and always made sure I was comfortable as possible. Dr. Ahmedo is very warm and friendly, and he removed my wisdom tooth before I even realized he was done. He is a dental ninja, and his staff are extraordinary. Maybe I won't avoid the dentist when I'm up for another cleaning.

Dr. Ahmedo is the best dentist I've ever had. Very personable, very genuine, and you can tell he really cares about maintaining your smile. Over the years seeing Dr. Ahmedo, I feel like we have became good friends, but I still see he is very passionate about the quality of his work and practice. It's always a pleasant visit, me and my wife both go there and the front staff is always polite and accommodating, especially Marian. Thank you Brite Smile Dental!

First of all, I used to dread going to the dentist...the sounds of the machines and and tools scraping against my teeth. However this office makes you feel welcome and comfortable from the time you check in. I've been going here for about 2 years now. The dental assistants and Dr. Ahmedo are always very nice, explain everything, and are constantly checking if you're in any pain or discomfort. I haven't had any major dental work, just basic cleanings, and fillings for cavities and so far so good. I currently do not have dental insurance, but I feel the prices have been pretty fair for the area and manageable for me.

They Always QUOTE YOU A LOW PRICE AND MAKES PROMISES ON BEHALF OF YOUR INSURANCE THEY KNOW THEY CANNOT FORCE YOUR INSURANCE TO KEEP LEAVING YOU WITH OUTRAGEOUS BILLS AS ITS PRIMARY OPERATING PROCEDURES!!
