Dr. Christian, a Connecticut native, received her dental degree from the University Of Connecticut School Of Dental Medicine. She continued her dental education at the University of Maryland, Baltimore, where she completed a three-year residency program in the specialty of Endodontics. Prior to her dental studies, Dr. Christian graduated from Boston University with a Bachelors of Science degree in Human Physiology and a Masters of Science degree in Biology from Central Connecticut State University.Dr. Christian enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters, running occasionally, and cooking.Dr. Christian is a member of the American Association of Endodontists, the Connecticut State Dental Association, and the Hartford Dental Society.
Dr. Katkowski realized he wanted to pursue a career in dentistry while working at the NIH in Bethesda, MD. While at the NIH, he discovered that he wanted to work with his hands and not just sit behind a desk or a lab bench. By opening his own dental practice, he is given the opportunity to provide treatment and care firsthand to the community. He wanted a family practice where he could treat the entire family and build relationships.
After earning his bachelors degree from Hofstra University, he later enrolled in the George Washington University where he earned his Masters of Science in Biology. While taking classes, teaching, and earning his thesis, he managed to land on the deans list.
After earning his masters degree, he applied to Tufts University School of Dental Medicine to pursue his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry degree. This was followed by a one-year residency program at Rochester General Hospital in New York.
Dr. Katkowski continues to further his education with seminars at Spear Education in Scottsdale and is an active member of his local study club. In addition, he attends continuing education courses organized by the Connecticut State Dental Association (CSDA). He is also an active member of the American Dental Association, the CSDA and the Bristol Dental Society.
Today, Dr. Katkowski lives with his family in Glastonbury, Connecticut. He is married to his wife, Kathryn, and has two daughters, Nora and Haley. As a family, they love to travel, visit the zoo, and explore the great outdoors whenever they have the time.
Many may not know about Dr. Katkowskis goal to climb every 4,000 ft mountain in the New York and New England areas. So far, hes completed 60 hikes out of 115, but he isnt stopping there. Getting away from the metropolitan sprawl of Hartford and breathing in the fresh mountain air is one of his favorite hobbies.

I brought my 3 year old and 1 year old boys to their very first dentist appointment and I was so nervous leading up to it, thinking they would kick and scream and just throw a fit. The staff came in and were immediately so helpful, so patient, kind and considerate to my kids' nerves/apprehension, asking what they could do to help me, speaking gently with them to help calm them down. It went a hundred times better than I expected and that is 100% due to the staff. When we got home, my three year old actually asked to go back! I couldn't believe it. So if you have little kids who have a hard time with doctor appointments, or working with strangers, or both, these guys will definitely take care of you!

My first visit with my 5 year old. Everyone was friendly and cheerful. They all knew how to charm a nervous child. Creative incentives for children too. Good advice on dental hygiene for adults. Great experience!

The staff has been very patient with me during the past year. For the first part I was in a wheelchair, now I'm using a walker to get around. The dentist and her assistant have always explained everything they were doing to me and made the experience pleasant. I would recommend Bristol family dental to my family and friends.

I had the best dental experience in all my 62 years. The dental hygienist was so gentle and thorough. I have a lot of work to do in my mouth and Dr Kat made me feel very comfortable- I was embarrassed by my teeth and he treated me with dignity and gave me hope that I could get my smile back. 5 stars all around.
