The duration of orthodontic treatment can be about 6 to 24months with visits tothe office ranging from every 4 to 8 weeks.We believe the treatmentshould be a rewarding journey with memorable experiences. Those orthodontic visits should be pleasant, encouraging,productive, andrelational.They should be rooted in the professional andfamily-friendly relationshipbetween our staff, doctor and you.
The relationshipstarts with us addressing any concerns orquestions that may arise before, during, and after braces.When you have a specificquestion, the doctor will take the time to listen first, then answer.

Dr. John Kim received his undergraduate B.A. degree in Biochemistry from Occidental College, Los Angeles,in 1991. He went on to complete his Doctor of Dental Surgery at UCLA School of Dentistry, then a post-doctoral Certificate in Orthodontics as well as aMaster's degree in Oral Biology at Temple University School of Dentistry.
Dr. John Kim is an orthodontic specialistand member of the following prominent organizations: American Association of Orthodontists, California Association of Orthodontist, andPacific Coast Society of Orthodontists. He is also an active memberat Church of Southland wherehe ispart ofthe many committees including the medical/dental mission teams serving the underserved people-groups around the world.
Dr. John Kim was born in South Korea, raised in Europe, grew up in Los Angeles, and presentlyresides in Yorba Linda/Placentia since 2002.He and his wife, Dr. Yisho Liu-Kim have two sons who have attended Yorba Linda Middle School, El Dorado High and Troy High School. Dr. John Kim loves playingfootball and basketball video games :) Healso enjoys playing real basketball, volleyball,fishing and doing his own landscaping and fixing things around the house.

I can't say enough how fantastic Brio Ortho is! They are honest and extremely friendly. Dr. Kim always takes the time to explain everything and always addresses any concerns. Dr. John Kim and Dr. Yisho Kim also recently went out of their way to accommodate my sick son that was hospitalized at CHOC. After a full day at work, despite traffic and having their own life to live, they went out of their way to come to the hospital which was at least a 30-40 minutes away, with their dental tools and fixed what needed to be fixed! I couldn't believe Dr. Kim would take time out of his busy day after hours to do this for my son. Needless to say, my son was instantly relieved and was finally able to eat and drink again. Brio cares about their patients and treats everyone like family. If I could give 100 stars I would! We will always be grateful for what Brio has done for my son.

My initial consultation was very thorough and reasonable costs for treatment. No games with pricing e.g. up the price and then discount it. Friendly staff, no waiting.
