A highly-trained and experienced cosmetic dentist, James M. Brinster, DDS has enhanced thousands of beautiful smiles with amazing results. After completing his degree at Loyola University, Dr. Brinster received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Maryland. He is a certified Invisalign and Lumineers dentist, a member of the American Dental Association, Maryland Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and continually studies the latest technologies to provide the most advanced dentistry to his patients.
A gifted artist, Dr. Brinster excels in dentistry because of his natural abilities, skillful manual dexterity, and his passion for health. For Dr. Brinster, cosmetic dentistry involves all aspects of general dentistry with a special emphasis on individual teeth and their overall harmony and balance in your smile. Julie graduated from the University of Maryland Dental School with honors and with a Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene in 1987. Julie has been with Brinster Dental since 1991 and is a member of the American Dental Hygienists Association, and she makes a point of taking 30 hours of continuing education every two years, as well as teaching dental hygiene in elementary schools every February during the National Childrens Dental Health Month.
Kristy is an experienced dental assistant and has been in the dental industry for over 15 years. Kristy assists Dr. Brinster with treating the patients and makes sure the practice always has the needed supplies. Kristy loves working with patients and helping them smile!
Joanna received her undergraduate degree in Communications from Loyola University in Maryland. She then earned her certification in Radiology and Expanded Functions at the Maryland State Dental Association. Joannas career in dentistry started while she was still in high school, and she hasnt looked back since. Many times Joanna has the first point of contact with the patients over the phone or upon their arrival at the practice. Her responsibilities include scheduling, greeting visitors, and taking care of the very important administrative duties that keep the practice running smoothly and on time. Joanna is a people-person and loves interacting with all the patients. She takes extra time to ensure that the patients are comforting and feel welcomed to Brinster Dental. She strives to make all the patients truly feel like theyre a part of the Brinster Dental family.

Brinster Dental is one the best dental offices I've ever been to. The staff is very professional. Julie is one of the Dental Hygienist. She is such a sweet person and very good at her job. Kristy is one of the Dental assistance and she really is great at what she does and kind hearted. Doctor Brinster is the best Dentist I ever been to. He is very gentle and knows is job. You are in good hands with doctor Brinster. Amanda is one of the other Dental assistants. She has not been the one that was there when i was there but I am sure she is great because everyone that works there is very nice and goes above and beyond what they have to do. Tracy is the Receptionist. She's a real sweetypie. You will love this place. Plus they have coffee, hot chocloate and tea. They will treat you like family. I highly recommend them!!!!

I've been a patient of Dr. Brinster for over 14 years. He is gentle and never recommends unnecessary procedures. The staff is friendly and professional. My hygienist, Wendy, is extremely knowledgeable and keeps up with the latest in dentistry. I recently had Zoom, at their office, and I'm extremely pleased with the results.

Doctor Brinster is an Excellent Dentist!!! High quality service, the staff is friendly & professional, and the dentist is extremely talented. Dr. Brinster, the hygienists, & the staff take the extra time to understand your needs & concerns and truly care about the well-being of their patients. I have been going to Brinster Dental for over 15 years and I will never leave. From regular check-ups/cleanings, to root-canals, to giving me the pretty (hollywood white) smile that I have always wanted. I always feel at ease and trust that I will be taken care of every-time I step foot in their office. I cannot recommend this dental practice enough!!

Dr Brinster did my first and only tooth extraction and I have to tell you I was asking when are you going to pull it and it was already done. Amazing and of course my hygienist Wendy keeps me coming back with great passion and caring feelings. I'm a dedicated patient that's likes the dentist. No more fear!
