I became passionate about orthodontics after having braces myself. I saw firsthand how a great smile can have a huge impact on one's self-esteem and open doors to limitless possibilities. I am fascinated by the art and technology involved with orthodontics and love the relationships it allows me to form with my patients throughout the course of treatment. I want having braces to be a great experience for all in my care.
Dr. Christine Brinley grew up in Collinsville, IL, and graduated from Collinsville High School in 1997. After studying Biology at Southern Illinois University, Dr. Brinley attended Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine and received her DMD with honors in 2005. She graduated in the top of her dental school class and received numerous academic awards. After dental school, Dr. Brinley was accepted into one of the most prestigious orthodontic programs in the world at Saint Louis University where she received her certificate in orthodontics and Master of Science in dentistry in 2007.
and has been featured on Fox 2 News, Y98, and in the St. Louis Post Dispatch for her work in orthodontics and generosity in giving back to children in need.Dr. Brinley has received many awards in both dentistry and orthodontics including being named one of the areas top ten dentists by St. Louis Magazine for many years running, and has had articles published in both orthodontic and prosthodontic journals featuring her research.
Dr. Brinley is a member of the American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society, Madison County District Dental Society, American Association of Orthodontists, Illinois Society of Orthodontists, and the Orthodontic Education and Research Foundation.
In her free time, Dr. Brinley enjoys spending time with her husband Michal, their three children, and the familys two lovable dogs. Her hobbies include biking the Madison County trails, travel, and decorating.
As long as I can remember I have always wanted to be an orthodontist. At the age of 12, I vividly remember how my own orthodontic treatment transformed my smile from something I was embarrassed about, to a smile that gave me great confidence and happiness. In becoming an orthodontist myself, I can now pass along such rewarding experiences to my patients. I value the personal relationship created with each and every patient. I am very passionate about orthodontics and look forward to being part of the team at Brinley Orthodontics.
Dr. Jaclyn Kostelac grew up in Belleville, IL where she attended Althoff Catholic High School. In 2007, Dr. Kostelac received her Bachelor of Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, with a major in biology and a minor in chemistry. Upon completion of her undergraduate degree, she obtained a Master of Science in neurobiology from Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville. Dr. Kostelac then moved to Los Angeles, CA to attend dental school at the University of Southern California, where she earned
her Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 2014. Upon graduation from USC, Dr. Kostelac was fortunate to be selected into the orthodontic program at Saint Louis University. After 30 months of training, Dr. Kostelac received a specialty certificate in orthodontics and a Master of Science in Dentistry.
Dr. Kostelac is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, Orthodontic Education and Research Foundation, and the California Dental Association. She has successfully completed the written portion of the American Board of Orthodontics.
Orthodontic appliances are made of metal, ceramic, or plastic. They may be removable or they may be brackets bonded to the teeth. By placing a constant, gentle force in a carefully controlled direction, braces slowly move teeth to the proper position.
Gone are the days when a metal band with a bracket was placed around each tooth. You can now choose clear, silver, or gold and, in some cases, the color of your appliance. Wires are far less noticeable, and the latest materials are designed to move teeth faster with more comfort. Today, any age is a great age to wear braces!
Treatment time varies and can last between one and three years, depending on several factors including age, treatment method, and how minor or severe your case is. A big factor in a successful treatment is you! The more involved and diligent you are, the more efficient your treatment will be.

With our iTero Element Scanner, we can digitally capture a detailed, 3D model of your teeth and gums. Not only is an iTero Element digital scan far more comfortable than the old putty-based impressions, but its faster and provides images that are more precise.
During the scanning process, your orthodontist will use the iTero Element Scanners wand to capture images of your teeth and gum tissue. You can breathe or swallow as you normally would. You can even pause during the process if you need to sneeze or just want to ask a question.
The iTero Element Scanner will give us a 3D model of your mouth that we can use with all orthodontic services, including the Invisalign Outcome Simulator, to show you what your new smile might look like.

Brinley Orthodontics has always met my daughters' orthodontics needs. Dr. Brinley and Dr. Kostelac are always friendly and professional. Their office staff is very helpful when it comes to answering questions and scheduling appointments. My daughter's smile looks so nice. I can't wait to see what my youngest daughter's will look like, when it is her turn.

So satisfied with the Drs and Staff! Their "cool personalities" & interactive office setting make the experience more than just a dental appointment. We have been accommodated on more than one occasion with an appointment and are SO appreciative for that! 5 star service...you won't be disappointed!

I absolutely love love this office and the staff. They are simply the most lovable and friendly group of individuals. My experience with them has been nothing but superb from the beginning of my train track ride*braces* til now...the removal of my braces I'm done!The team made my 18 month ride so comfy and durable I recommend anybody that's seeking an awesome smile plus appearance and experience please don't hesitate to give Dr. Brinley and her crew a try! It'll be well worth it I promise;) oh yeah...my after appearance gain me a toothpaste commercial with Colgate

My daughter has been going here for 2 years, she has had the best experience. Everyone is extremely nice and the office itself is amazing! They get you in and out in a timely manner and we couldn't be happier with the overall experience.

My daughter and I have been coming to Dr. Brindley's office for a couple of years. My teeth needed a lot of attention. Dr. Brinley and Dr. Kostelac were able to get my teeth straightened out and they look beautiful. My teeth started to shift after a year with no braces, which is very common. I called to get help with correcting them. Dr. Brinley was amazing and made sure to answer my questions and fit me with a different retainer. I noticed a difference in less than a week. Everyone in the office is so friendly! Brooke is one of my favorites !! Forever grateful for Everyone at Dr. Brinleys's office! They have given me something to smile about

Dr. Brinkley is Amazing, the staff is so sweet and kind. The office looks insanely beautiful and has only became better and better over time. Brinley Orthodontics has made my teeth look straighter and whiter over time. They are so flexible with schedules and times so it works great wherever whenever. All of Brinly orthodontics is the best overall.

My daughter had a front tooth nerve damage from soccer injury. Brinley orthodontics is the only orthodontist catch it via the X-ray exam among several highly rated orthodontics offices. We have been very happy with the service and staff.

This is a great place to come. I love it here I'm the third one from my family to get treated here. The ENTIRE staff is so outgoing and happy everyday. Also it's a very clean & relaxing environment with a mini theater section for the kiddos and if adults what to chill to. Furthermore not just kids come but adults to. So if you and the kiddos need braces or Invisalign this is the place. GREAT JOB GUYS!

They were the place that made my braces affordable and helped changed my smile. I'm forever grateful and do recomend others come to such an amazing environment. They also have raffles and they give three tickets each time you come in so you can involved in amazing giveaways.
