A children's dental specialist is a practitioner who, after becoming a general dentist (often called a family dentist), has completed an additional two years of post-doctoral training in the recognition and treatment of childrens dental and orthodontic problems.
Specialty education includes child psychology, behavior guidance, preventive techniques, restorative dentistry, interceptive and comprehensive orthodontic care (braces), and the treatment of handicapped or chronically ill children.
We proudly serve children from all around Bartlett, Lakeland, Munford and the surrounding areas, including Arlington, Atoka, Collierville, Cordova, East Memphis, Germantown Millington, Tipton County and Western Fayette County.
In preparation for his future as a pediatric dentist, he obtained his undergraduate degree from Wheaton College, where he majored in business and economics with an emphasis in health care professions.
Additional qualifications include PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification, conscious sedation certification (for the use of oral sedation for our apprehensive patients), and completion of the Clinical Modification of Dentofacial Development program (provides him past and yearly training in orthodontics for our patients that need a pediatric approach to their orthodontic needs).
Additionally, Dr. Josh has operating room privileges at LeBonheur East Surgery Center to offer outpatient general anesthesia as an option for our underage/anxious patients. Professionally, Dr. Josh serves as:
In his spare time, Dr. Josh enjoys working in the yard, gardening, exercising at the Orange Theory gym, traveling out West to hike 14ers and snow ski, and reading biographies, theology, best-sellers, and adventure novels.
For dental school, Dr. Jason came back to his hometown and attended the University of Tennessee where he was the recipient of the Pediatric Dentistry Alumni Association Award. And upon graduation, Dr. Jason worked for six years in both the office of Dr. Josh and the office of Dr. Chuck Hughes in Dyersburg, TN.
But, the calling to return for more training in pediatric dentistry led Dr. Jason to leave private practice for two years to join the graduate pediatric dental residency program at the University of Tennessee.
When he does find some free time, Dr. Jason enjoys spending time with his large extended family, attending Ole Miss games, watching movies, and reading anything from novels to books on theology and apologetics.
During her tenure at the UT Dental School, Dr. Emily was a member of the dental honor society Omicron Kappa Upsilon, received the Tennessee Society of Pediatric Dentistry's Award for Excellence, and became board-certified in pediatric dentistry in 2013.
Dr. Emily has also earned her certifications for residency in pediatric dentistry, PALS (pediatric advanced life support), conscious sedation, CPR, and has operating room privileges at LeBonheur Children's Medical Center and LeBonheur East Surgery Center.

Enjoyable experience. Beautiful waiting room. Friendly doctors. Staff went out of their way to help daughter get her bite wing xrays despite them difficult to take. Do not love writing on tablets for sign in etc... prefer a real computer with keyboard and mouse.

The staff is always so friendly and makes my children very comfortable every time they have to get dental work done. Dr. Josh is the best! Not only does he take his time, but explains everything in detail. All my children are patients of Dr. Josh's at Brink and White for 5 years now, and we don't plan on going anywhere else! Our new addition will be a new patient soon.

We love B&W Bartlett. Everyone is always so nice and helpful. They take the time to explain and answer questions. My daughter loves Dr. Josh and all of the staff. I honestly feel that Dr. Josh treats my daughter like he would his own child. Thank you guys for all that you do!

Had a wonderful experience with all staff members including receptionist, hygienist and dentist. Each room has items own theme and it's very cute! I would highly recommend Brink and White pediatric Dental!

My son has autism and have been going here for a while now. They always make them feel welcomed and never force anything. I wish i was a kid going here bc back then our offices were nothing like today's. They are always giving advice and information. They do what can can xray wise seeing how it scares my lil guy bc if the autism. I have never had a problem with them. When u walk in, you can tell they love what they do!!!

I would like to thank every single person that works at this location. They are so helpful and delightful .I would like also to thank doctor Josh, he is amazing and friendly.I never wrote a review for any dentist. After my children's doctor in downtown doctor Aby she was perfect but she went to another state and I was tired looking for good dentist for my 3 children but thanks God we were so happy to have doctor Josh and his staff.

We aren't very happy with the service we received. My son got a cleaning and it went well. The dentist said he needed some fillings and a crown. She really pushed "sedation" on me. I asked if sedation was even necessary. He's only four and baby teeth fall out. She said they can do it "in office" which was slightly cheaper. When we arrived the day of the appointment, my son said he had a small snack that morning. The dentist refused to do any work on him. I told the dental assistant, I've had plenty of dental procedures and never been told I can't eat or drink. The dentist refused to even come out of the office and talk to me. I took an entire day off work for nothing. I wouldn't recommend this place! They are pushing sedation. If a parent doesn't want their child to be sedated, they won't do the work or discuss any other options. I think it's unprofessional the dentist refused to even see my child and sent out a dental assistant to tell me we had no other option to get his dental work done. We'll just wait until he's older and gets looses his baby teeth.

It was my 4 yr old daughter's first time ever visiting the dentist and initially she had some anxiety about it but the staff made her feel safe and right at home. She left smiling from ear to ear and loved her "New Dentist". I highly recommend you bring your children here they are the best so good in fact she can't wait to return again!

Staff is very friendly and welcoming. My daughter was fearful at first, but they took time to show her all the instruments they would be using and how they work which eased some of her fears. Dr. Brinks was very patient with my daughter and gave her time to calm down. I would say if you're looking for a dentist in the Bartlett area this is the office to come to.

This was our first visit. I made a post on Facebook and asked for pediatric dental offices that would see all 3 of my kids. Brink & White came highly recommend by several people. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Dr. Mary was very cheerful, answered all questions and explained everything very well! Definitely will recommend to anyone looking for a dental group for kids.

Took my 7 year old daughter in today for an exam and treatment plan. Dr Brink was very thorough with his examination and made the experience relaxing for my daughter. She had a not so great experience recently at another office that resulted in extreme dental anxiety. We left and she mentioned how nice the entire staff was, and how she is excited to go back to "the fun office." Such a great pediatric office!

This place has "Chick-fil-A" service. Everyone from the front desk to Dr. Brink were kind and friendly. They were up front about procedure options and pricing. My children were comfortable and loved it. I would definitely recommend this office.
