Dr. Briney doesn 't believe in advertising and the most important way in building an ethical and professional practice is by creating trusting and personal relationships; hence why patients are on a first name basis with everyone.
Dr. Briney was born and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana where he subsequently attended Indiana University for his undergraduate degree in Biochemistry and four more years for his Degree in Dental Surgery (D.D.S.). Hecompleted another year of hospital residency concentrating on all surgical aspects of dentistry. Shortly after leaving Indiana, he had a practice in Beverly Hills working with the entertainment industry. In 1999, he decided to move to Orange County andpursue his dream of establishing a private practice close to the ocean which is where he is now in Dana Point! He is very involved with the city of Dana Point and builds friendships everyday.
Karrie has been a hygienist with Dr. Briney since he started his practice in 1999. Karrie has been considered by her patients as one of the most detailed and thoroughhygienists they have ever met. Most importantly is her personalcare and professionalism shedisplays on a routine and consistentbasis. She has been certified for Laser Hygiene protocols to offer the most advanced oral healthcare today and continues to follow the latest in our ever-evolving industry. Karrie displays genuine care for the patient's well being and thrives for a relationship that parallels a close friendship.
Marinahas beena great addition to the office after an extremely intense search for an additional hygienistlastyear. Marinahas exemplified the highest standard of carewhich is associated with Dr. Briney's office.Every patient has been overly complimentary in the care and professionalism thatthey have experienced with Marina. Marina is certified in Laser Hygiene protocols in order to offer the most advanced oral healthcare in today's ever evolving industry.
Somer has been the office managersince early 2012 and has had extensive training and experience in the dental field for over 15 years. Somer is extremely personal and goes over and beyond to make sure the treatment coordinating and insurance billing is stress free andeasy for the patient. The patients feel very comfortable with discussing their treatment and billing questions with Somer. Since 2016, Somer has moved primarily to the back office to provide the best chairside experience as the patient has their treatment. Her professionalism and friendliness sets the bar for the dental field.
Sjana has been with Dr. Brineysince early 2015andhas severalcritical roles in the office. Sheis the coordinator for the hygiene scheduling and treatment planning. . Sjanahas a very bubbly personality and the patients love working with her. She is very knowledgeable in the insurance billing and treatment planning for the office while putting the patient's best interest onpar with her own.
