My name is Kari and I joined the Brilliant Smiles Family Dentistrys team in September 2018 as Patient Coordinator. Dr. Jenicke has entrusted me with much of what you will see when you check-in and check-out, as well as the experience you receive when you call into our office. I am a busy mom of 2 active boys, ages 11 and 9. I lived in Georgia for 14 years and moved back to the area in 2017. We love traveling to see our southern family and seeing new places. I enjoy reading and family game nights.

I graduated from Ferris State University in 2001, Ive been a hygienist for 18 years and I love every minute of it! I started working for Brilliant Smiles Family Dentistry in 2013. I enjoy the quality time spent educating my patients about their oral hygiene needs, and my favorite part of my job is developing a long lasting relationship with my patients.
I am blessed with the opportunity to work with an awesome dentist and fantastic coworkers here at Brilliant Smiles Family Dentistry, it has been a very rewarding experience. I spend my time off with my husband and three children (16, 14, and 12 year old). If Im not at the office you can find me traveling all over the state taking my children to their travel sporting events.
Hello, my name is Mary! Ive been a hygienist for 14 years and have been practicing with Dr. Jenicke since April 2012. I enjoy educating our patients by explaining dental conditions an dental procedures. Taking that little extra time to educate our patients really helps them gain a better understanding of the overall health of their mouth.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time wit my family, singing with my church band, gardening, cooking, baking, and traveling. I also love having such great co-workers and an amazing box! I can truly say I love my job!
Hey there! I am Margo, a dental assistant to Dr. Jenicke. I started in the dental field in 2014 in orthodontics, where I received all on the job training which carried me over here in July of 2019 and I am very happy to be here to serve you! My favorite things about dentistry include seeing procedures evolve from start to finish, and all the progress that happens in between. It is very rewarding to assist in giving you your most brilliant smile, and I love that Dr. Jenicke is here for exactly that, while always deeply caring about the well-being of her patients. Outside of working in this office full of spunky ladies, I love DJing my own loud music while I exercise (spin biking and running), telling corny jokes, going golfing, and spending time in my PJs at home with a huge bowl of popcorn watching movies. I was born and raised in Falmouth, but now reside in tiny Lucas with my husband since 2016 and our two loving cats Xena and Hoosier. I cant wait to meet you and find a little bit out about you also!
Sheryl Jenicke loves being a dentist. Shes passionate about teeth and the artistry of dentistry. Dr. Jenicke feels you can change peoples lives if you give them a beautiful smile. In her office, she is known for being painless and she strives to make her patients feel as comfortable as possible. Perhaps they couldnt smile before because they were embarrassed or in pain. She enjoys bringing affordable, beautiful smiles to Cadillac and believes it is important to stay involved and give back to her community.
Dr. Jenicke earned her Bachelor of Science from Michigan State University, graduating in 2000. She continued on to the University of Maryland earning her Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 2006. Dr. Jenicke completed an intensive hospital based General Practice Residency at Ohio State University in 2007. She returned to Michigan and worked in several offices before taking over the practice of retiring dentist Dr Toepler in 2011.
Dr. Jenicke regularly furthers her education by taking courses in advanced dentistry. She is a member of multiple dentistry organizations and feels it is important to stay informed on the latest techniques and advancements in dentistry. Her extensive experience and perfectionist nature provides patients with the confidence that they have chosen the right dentist.
Dr. Jenicke recieved her fellowship from the Academy of General Dentistry in 2016. In order to earn this honor, Dr. Jenicke completed 500 hours of continuing dental education, passed a comprehensive written exam and fulfilled ten years of continuous membership with the AGD. The award symbolizes excellence in the dental profession and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care. Dr. Jenicke has joined an elite group of more than 10,000 renowned professionals who have received Fellowship honors to date.
Outside of dentistry Sheryl enjoys traveling, gardening, reading, enjoying the outdoor beauty of Northern Michigan and spending time with her husband Donald and their miniature poodles, Julie and Lydia.
