Dr. Terry Peterson grew up in Utah.After serving a 2 year mission for the LDS faith in Paris, France he attendedBrigham Young University. While attendingBYU,Dr. Peterson married his high school sweetheart, Aubrey.Dr. Peterson graduated from BYU with a Bachelors degree in Business Management just before going to dental school. Dr. Peterson then received his dental education at the prestigious Creighton UniversitySchool of Dentistry where he was trained in all the latest techniques of modern dentistry.
Dr. Peterson and his wife now have 3 beautiful daughters and havebeen living and practicing in the Phoenix area since 2011. Dr. Peterson is very outgoing and loves to get to know his patients. He does all he can to treat every patient as if they are family. In his spare time he loves to work on computers and spend time with his girls.

Dr. Peterson was amazing. I'm not even a patient as I live on the other side town from his office, but my dentist was out of town and I had a dental emergency. His office got me in an hour after I called their office and stayed late to repair a tooth, build and install a crown all on the same visit. I went from painful broken tooth to on my way home to eat dinner in 3 hours with a permanent crown. Process was absolutely amazing....highly recommend.

Ben was awesome today! He did a thorough and gentle cleaning. Both Dr. Peterson and Dr. Morgan made me feel valued as a patient. Very welcoming and warm atmosphere.

Have had 2 visits and great experience so far! Very kind, thorough, explain what/why they're doing something. Doc even cared to check in about a mole on my cheek! So thoughtful. Makes you feel like a human and not just another mouth Front Desk are also very kind/attentive/helpful!

If you want a team that really cares about its patients, you need to go see Dr. Peterson's team at Brilliant Smiles Dentistry. They have been taking care of our teeth for 10+ years now and we will not go anywhere else. Dr. Peterson gave me back my smile !!

Phenomenal staff and awesome doctor. New facility is Beautiful and the doctor is honest, professional and doesn't upsell unneeded work. Amazing experience every time. I highly recommend this dentist.

Dr. Peterson and the staff are friendly, knowledgeable ,and professional. Marissa did a great job of cleaning and checking my teeth. Dr. Phoeung checked my teeth and the x rays indicated that I had no existing problems. All the staff is courteous, caring, and have an understanding of the patient's needs.

July 6th, '22 - Time flies! It was time again for my bi annual check over and cleaning. Shortly after my arrival, the hygienist greeted me and processed the cleaning and check up. Dr. Peterson then reviewed my status and we discussed doing a crown for one tooth that was getting "long in the tooth". The crown appointment was scheduled, the bill paid, and I was on my way in a little over an hour. I've always been pleased with the exceptional service and attention by Brilliant Smiles and would recommend them to anyone. Jan 18, 2022 - It was time for the bi annual check up and cleaning. I arrived just before my appointment time and was quickly processed and greeted by the hygienist who did the check up and cleaning. Following that, Dr. Peterson, reviewed my teeth and made some recommendations for future work. My next appointment was scheduled and I was out the door in about an hour. I have always experienced efficient and professional service from Brilliant Smiles. I arrived at 7am for my bi-annual check up and cleaning. I was promptly greeted by my hygienist who did the cleaning and checked me over. Dr. Peterson then reviewed my status and made a few suggestions to consider. My next bi-annual appointment was scheduled, the bill paid and I was out in the door in just about an hour. I find the office to be efficient, knowledgeable, and take good care of their patients. Update - I just had my next biannual cleaning and checkup appointment and all went efficiently and smoothly and I was out the door in about an hour. Dr. Peterson reviewed some developments with me that may involve a crown or two in the future sometime. I appreciate the "heads up" on things. As usual, the office was efficient, and took good care of their patients.

Very nice staff, the hygienist was awesome, The dentist even comes to talk to to see if you have any issues and he is very honest, doesn't try to sell you treatments you don't need.. I think I have finally found my new dentist..

My experience has always been a positive. From the moment you walk in you get greeted with a warm welcome . Jacki & Dr.Peterson are both amazing. I really appreciate how attentive they are and how respectful they are of everyone's time. I am always assisted at my appointment time or only a few minutes after . They have great customer experience !

Jackie was such a pleasure to work with. She was kind, gentle and very thorough as my hygienist. Dr. Peterson did a nice job consulting with me regarding some longer term concerns I've had and he made me feel very welcome at his practice. I enjoyed this first visit.

I truly have a phobia when it comes to dentists and everyone here was wonderful. I've had dentists in the past tell me how all of my old fillings need to be replaced, only to get a second opinion and find out they're fine. The dentist and the hygienists are Very caring and careful. Terry was wonderful, honest, straight forward and informative. Can't give this place a high enough recommendation. I've found my dentist.
