After graduating with a Bachelor of Science from the University of Maryland, Dr. Brilliant earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the Emory Dental School in 1983. She returned to the University of Maryland School of Dentistry, where she received her certificate in orthodontics and has been in private practice since 1985.
Dr. Brilliant is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontics, American Dental Association, South Florida Association of Orthodontics, andNorth Dade Dental Society. She served as president of both the South Florida Association of Orthodontics and the North Dade Dental Society.
The first orthodontist to volunteer for Our Kids, a program for foster care, Dr. Brilliant and her staff provide free orthodontic services to five foster care patients at all times. She has been written up in the Miami Herald for her charitable contributions to this organization. Dr. Brilliant also mentors high-risk girls in high school with the program Women of Tomorrow.
Dr. Jeff Rothenberg grew up in North Miami Beachand received his undergraduate degree in chemistry from the University of South Florida. He obtained his dental degree in the charter class at Nova Southeastern College of Dental Medicine. Dr. Rothenberg obtained his masters degree and certificate in orthodontics at the University of Connecticut orthodontic residency, which is widely known as one of the top orthodontic residencies in the world.
Dr. Rothenberg served as president of the North Dade/Miami Beach Dental Society. Furthermore, he is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, and the local affiliates.

Receptionist and dental assistants are so unbelievably rude. Hate coming here and would have switched ortho if I didn't like the doctor.

Dr brilliant and Dr espejo are just amazing, I couldn't be happier with the result. Front desk are also helpful and efficient. Several of my friends have asked me where did I get my teeth done and I recommended the office to them.

The quality of the work and the retainer I got here are superb. They are thin, strong, don't get dirty or yellow over time. A year passed, the retainer looks almost brand new.

What an incredible office, experience and staff. Very COVID conscious. I saw more air purifiers, wipe downs and PPE than I could ever imagine. Dr Brilliant is just that. Brilliant. She is professional, to the point, extremely time efficient and warm! Everyone in the office was a delight. Going into an orthodontist office at 33 for adult braces can feel weird, but I look forward to going back!

I will always refer anyone to go to dr brilliant office for braces

Thank you Dr. Brilliant and your team for your life changing experience. I am over forty, and at the beginning I thought it was too late for the perfect smile. Dr Brilliant and his office assured me that it is never too late!!!. Special thanks to Michelle who brightens up your day by always smiling. There was not one time that I looked at her and she was not smiling. . Thank you for always accommodating and making sure everything went well. Thanks Dr Brilliant for giving me the smile that I always wished for. I recommend this office to everyone. It is super friendly and very professional.

Dr. Rothenberg and his team are literal angels! I came in to see Dr. Rothenberg as a last resort for some help in correcting my bite in hopes of easing the terrible pain caused by my TMJ. My mouth was a complete mess, and I was pretty hopeless. After explaining my story, Dr. Rothenberg took his time in explaining to me what my orthodontic options were and what he thought would be best, always making sure that I understood every part of the process to make a good decision for myself. I was committed to the treatment and the time it would take to achieve the results I hoped for. I enjoyed coming into the office because the staff was very friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. Shoutout to Maggie! for being super awesome as well and making it a point to check in on me when I saw her at the office. I loved seeing the progress I was making as time went by and Dr. Rothenberg always made sure to keep me in the loop of what was happening and answered all my questions each time. Upon the ending of my treatment, I literally wanted to cry, I couldn't believe that I finally looked and felt normal, and most importantly I was pain free. I am forever grateful to Dr. Rothenberg for helping me achieve what I thought was impossible, and for working with me as a patient, not only did he give me my health back but also brought my smile back! I would recommend in a heartbeat!! Sidenote: their excellent attention to patients and keeping the office a safe and very clean space during this pandemic has been extraordinary!
