Dr. Sami Hersel is a renowned dentist serving Burbank, California and the greater Los Angeles area. He has a vast knowledge of dentistry, pays attention to detail and is known for his patience and bedside manner. He focuses on providing his patients with personalized care and emphasizes on importance of teaching and educating patient to prevent dental disease and oral health issues.
Dr. Hersel has extensive training in cosmetic dentistry, implant dentistry, orthodontics, as well as other areas of restorative and general dentistry. He earned his Bachelors Degree from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), and then began his dental training at the University of Pacific (UOP) School of Dentistry.

My family and I have been coming to Brilliant Dental for 12+ years. Dr Sami Hersel is the most thorough, meticulous, thoughtful and communicative dentist I have ever been to. He takes great care of his patients and does amazing work. So glad that I have a dentist that I trust and respect. Thank you!

Dr Hersel is very personable and caring; one of the best dental experiences I've had. He is thorough in giving background on what he is doing & why. He explains the materials he uses and the potential impacts on your teeth. My experience with his network of dental physicians (including orthodontist & periodontist) has been great. They have been upfront about all costs, so that there are no financial surprises, which can be stressful around this time.

I had not gone to a dentist for years. Had grown up with braces and thought I could avoid seeing one until the worst toothache came on me. Went I went to Dr. Hersel, I immediately told him "no offense, but, I don't like dentist". He assured me that I'm one of many and proceeded to be the most gentlest and nicest dentist I ever met. I now go see "the dentist" regularly.

Best dentist office in Southern CA. I've been a patient of Dr. Hersel's for over 12 years. He corrected several botched dental procedures and has help set me on a path of good oral health. He's knowledgeable on the newest dental procedures and techniques. The Brilliant staff is friendly and welcoming.

I've been going to Brilliant Dental for over five years and there are some compelling reasons for that... amazing bedside manner, focus on preventative care (always recommending new techniques to help make maintenance a habit, but without the guilt trip), staying current and knowledgeable in the field and sharing that information, making appointments is a breeze and they do their best to remind me (text or call) even with updates due to schedule changes so I'm not inconvenienced or kept waiting. Excellent care from such a warm, friendly group of professionals... I would recommend if you're looking for a dentist in the area.

My regular dentist was on vacation when I had a dental emergency. I called Brilliant Dental Group and talked to Emily. I was scared but she reassured me everything would be fine. Dr. Hersel saw me a couple of hours later. He took a quick look in my mouth and knew exactly what was wrong and the issue got fixed. He was so knowledgeable, yet he explained everything in layman's terms. He also convinced me that it was time to get my wisdom teeth extracted, which I had been avoiding for years. I expected the worst and the procedure ended up being as pleasant as tooth extraction could ever be, crazily enough! They made sure I healed properly and quickly and even called a few weeks later to make sure I was still ok. I'm so glad that's out of the way! I cannot recommend Dr Hersel and his staff more! Needless to say, he is my dentist now!

Dr. Hersel and his staff are so welcoming that you forget the fear you had before walking into the dentist office. He explains the problem and treatment option very clearly so you can make an informed decision. I highly recommend Brilliant Dental Group and will refer my friends and family to them!

A really wonderful place with a great staff and an amazing dentist. They are savvy and use pretty impressive equipment and communications tools, which is way more convenient than most places. And...my teeth are clean.

Dr. Sami and his team are the BEST! I've been going to him for over 18 years. I've referred several friends to him. My son is 14, he's been going to Dr. Sami since he was 4 or 5. He's a master at his craft. Super ethical, going to him feels like hanging with family. If you're in Burbank, definitely check him out!
