After graduating with a Bachelor of Science from the University of Maryland, Dr. Brilliant earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the Emory Dental School in 1983. She returned to the University of Maryland School of Dentistry, where she received her certificate in orthodontics and has been in private practice since 1985.
Dr. Brilliant is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontics, American Dental Association, South Florida Association of Orthodontics, andNorth Dade Dental Society. She served as president of both the South Florida Association of Orthodontics and the North Dade Dental Society.
The first orthodontist to volunteer for Our Kids, a program for foster care, Dr. Brilliant and her staff provide free orthodontic services to five foster care patients at all times. She has been written up in the Miami Herald for her charitable contributions to this organization. Dr. Brilliant also mentors high-risk girls in high school with the program Women of Tomorrow.
Dr. Jeff Rothenberg grew up in North Miami Beachand received his undergraduate degree in chemistry from the University of South Florida. He obtained his dental degree in the charter class at Nova Southeastern College of Dental Medicine. Dr. Rothenberg obtained his masters degree and certificate in orthodontics at the University of Connecticut orthodontic residency, which is widely known as one of the top orthodontic residencies in the world.
Dr. Rothenberg served as president of the North Dade/Miami Beach Dental Society. Furthermore, he is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, and the local affiliates.
