A Maine native, Dr. Michelle Beaulieu completed her undergraduate degree in Biochemistry from Syracuse University and received her dentistry degree from Rutgers School of Dental Medicine where she was nominated to join the Gamma Pi Delta Prosthodontics Honor Society. To better serve her patients she completed an additional year of residency training at Hackensack University Medical Center. After some time working in private practice in New Jersey, she returned to Maine to establish roots and serve her local community for years to come. She previously served as an Associate Clinical Professor at the University of New England College of Dental Medicine, but is now committed to serving her patients in Bath full time.
Dr. Beaulieu believes in treating every patient like family, with honesty, compassion and integrity. She understands the special relationship and amount of trust required to have a dentist complete their work and will work hard at each and every visit to build and keep the trust of her patients.
In her own words, The most rewarding part of my job is seeing a once hesitant patient smile with confidence as they leave the office. If you are nervous or apprehensive about being in the dental chair, I understand because I experience that myself! It is a privilege to earn your trust and I will do whatever I can to make you feel comfortable.
Dr. Beaulieu stays up to date with all modern dentistry has to offer and is a member of the American Dental Association, Maine Dental Association, Casco Bay Study Club, and her local Spear Study Club. When Dr. Beaulieu is not practicing dentistry, you can find her gardening, painting, or spending time with friends and family.

Dr. Beaulieu and her dental team are the best. Whether it is an appointment for a cleaning or to have a new crown there is a professional yet relaxed atmosphere. I can't imagine going anywhere else after experiencing such great quality care from a friendly staff. I highly recommend this practice.

I'm scared to death of dental work but I must say that my experience today was extremely non-stressful. The front office folks are very friendly and the dentist and her technician were outstanding. I had an old filling (46 years old) that had broken and needed to be replaced. For one of the few times in my life, there was absolutely no pain whatsoever. I highly recommend this practice.

I have been using Brightwork Dental in Bath, ME, since I returned to Maine in the late 80s. I Highly recommend them for their excellent dental treatments, procedures, friendly service.

I've been going to Brightwork for almost 7 years now...there's a reason for that...skilled professionals...silly as it sounds, I enjoy going there, it's always a good time, they are super nice. They have the distinction of being the only dental practice that I ever laughed while there was a drill in my mouth...true story.

This was quite honestly the best dentist experience I've ever had. Michelle and her staff are so kind and made me feel very at ease. They were also quick yet very efficient with their procedures! I am having a lot of work done and they were very fair in their pricing (I went to them for a second opinion and the cost was about the third of what I was quoted at a chain dentist office). They were able to get started with me immediately as well. I would highly recommend Brightwork!

I always receive excellent service at Brightwork Dental. My hygienist is wonderful, and this is saying a lot because I'm a complicated patient due to my medical history. My experiences at this practice have been so positive! I highly recommend them!

Dr Beaulieu and her staff run a wonderful dental office. They use the latest technology in dentistry and deliver an amazingly relaxed experience in the chair. I particularly like how they communicate exactly what they are doing while being careful to minimize discomfort.
