Dr. Woods is one of the best holistic dentists in Southern California. Holistic dentistry, sometimes referred to biological dentistry or bio-compatible dentistry, is a comprehensive approach to dental care which considers the patients dental health in the context of their overall health. As a pioneer in modern dental technology and with an integrative approach to holistic dentistry, Dr. Woods believes in addressing the entirety of a patients health and taking any necessary steps to reduce dental anxiety. She has integrated a range of holistic standards and practices into the natural dentistry services offered at Brighton Dental, which include acupuncture, aromatherapy, and the use of high quality non-toxic, biocompatible materials, uniquely offered to her San Diego patients.
Dr. Woods is a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, San Diego Dental Society, International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicity, Academy of General Dentistry, and performs pro-bono restorative dentistry elderly patients through the Dental Lifeline Network to help local elderly patients with much needed care that their retirement benefits cannot come close to helping them. Aside from working with local dental associations, Dr Woods has served underprivileged children and families (including Compassion Clinic, Clinic with A Heart, Mead Valley Community Service, Assistance League of Redlands, Philippines, Cambodia & Ensenada Mission Trips through different organizations including the Thousand Smiles organization).
One of the most important aspects of Dentistry to Dr Woods is staying current in technology and continuing education. After dental school, Dr Woods completed courses on Oral Conscious Sedation, graduated from the California Implant Institute as well as the Hybridge Institute, has been published for her research on the effects of dental bonding strength and microabrasion. Dr Woods is passionate about constantly learning and integrating new innovative treatment options with her patients each day to ensure that they are receiving the best quality of care possible.

Dr. Woods and her team are top notch! She's definitely the best dentist in all of San Diego and worldwide who truly mastered her craft with painless procedures and pure products. I would give more than 10 stars for cleanliness, timeliness, customer service, professionalism, dental care, workmanship, results and all of the above if I could. I have no complaints. I can't ask for anything more. I've never met any professional with a soul like hers. The main attraction is her honesty, hardworking and humble heart. She's always taken the time to prioritize my needs and I always have the greatest feeling leaving Brighton Dental, it's such a special place for me because of all the love there makes all the difference in my world, they are definitely unbeatable and no place like any other. They have always made me feel like family since day 1 and I've been a fan of her work for several years now and she never fails in giving me the utmost care ever. Going to the dentist has never been a good experience for me as long as I can remember. For this reason, dental visits were few and far between. From the moment you walk in to Brighton Dental, a sense of calm is present in the waiting room. The ambiance is similar to that of a spa, and tricks your mind into thinking that you might be getting a facial of some sort. The ladies there are so bubbly and outgoing, even on a Monday morning. I can't imagine how chipper they'd be on a Friday! Truly, what's most impressive about Brighton Dental is the amount of technology the ladies use. From X-rays to 3D photography, the technology is phenomenal! They also do a very extensive and thorough cleaning prior to the dentist seeing you; no tooth left unturned! Finally, there's Dr. Woods. The best hands you could possibly be in. The way she speaks to you shows just how passionate she is about her work and how much she cares about you and your teeth. This is apparent in the types of holistic medicine she used on me. When I visited Dr. Woods, all I wanted was a simple extraction of a broken tooth. Instead, she repaired it as well as the tooth next to it. I came back a week later and two perfectly colored crowns were implanted into my mouth as if it never ever happened. I am so grateful to Dr. Woods and her staff for making something I've always dreaded into a very comforting experience. I walked in with an emergency situation and left with a solution as well as preventative measure.

Dr. Woods and the entire staff were exceptional. Each person I encountered was friendly and professional. My employment requires that I travel a lot for work, but the whole team went out of their way to fit me in the schedule on short notice. Traditionally it has been difficult for me to get good dental work due to my work schedule, but they were incredibly flexible and kind. I received a cleaning and several fillings. The non-toxic, coconut oil based tooth polish made my teeth feel great. And I was satisfied with the holistic approach to my fillings. I feel confident that Dr. Woods is committed to holistic dentistry and she is also very personable and thoughtful about her work.

I went here to get a deep cleaning done and continue with some dental work I've been needing. The first appointment I waited for quite a long time to see Dr Woods. But I figured they were busy no big deal. Scheduled for my first half of the deep cleaning for a Friday am before I left and thought everything was good. Went in for my first half of the cleaning and it went great so I scheduled the second half while I was still with the hygienist for a Friday early am. A week before my appointment I got a text confirming it for a later time that day so I called the office and asked about. They said the hygienist was going to need more time and they needed me to come in later. They never called to ask if that worked for me. So I had to reschedule and wait a month. Got in cleaning went great, he actually finished sooner from the first time and then he said he wanted to see me again in November to make sure my guns were healing good scheduled with him before I left for a Friday early morning again and today got a text from them saying my appointment was Wednesday at 2p. I called and said I had scheduled it for a Friday because it's the only day I have open and Wednesday at 2 I have to pick up my kids from school so there is no way I would have scheduled that. I told her this was the second time they had moved my appointment without confirming it with me and she apologized and tried to reschedule me. Unfortunately she said they can't see me after 4:30 because they are closed and they can only do an early morning but not Friday. So obviously that does not work so I had to cancel my appointment. Guess I'm finding a new dentist. Really thought I had found a good one but I guess that's not really a thing anymore. I'm upset that they're communication sucks and they feel they can just move appointments around without consulting their patients first.

Had a great experience, as a new patient with Dr.Woods. She is so kind, attentive and efficient, truly a professional. There are so many thoughtful touches throughout the practice, all focusing on your comfort, safety and peace of mind. The office itself is so clean and pretty, all the staff, super friendly. I had some much needed work done; amalgam removal and an old crown that needed repair. Dr. Woods works quickly and does a thorough job, making sure of your comfort throughout the procedure. Her attention to detail and holistic approach is refreshing and unusual. I heartily recommend her, you won't be sorry!

Really want to leave a good review since it's so cute but this last experience was not good.. I heard Paige talking rudely about some of her clients. Very unprofessional.. I couldn't believe some of the stuff coming out of her mouth. Seems like all she cares about is money. Very stuck up and arrogant. The staff seem extremely unorganized and unprofessional. I waited an ungodly amount of time resulting into me not being able to pick my children up when I needed to and I expressed the importance of timing when I made the appointment. It took me several attempts to even get someone on the phone to create my appointment and I was put on hold many times. I had a filling fall out almost immediately in the past. One time I was overcharged.. when I came back for a future appointment I was told I had a credit on my account. I would've appreciated a call so that I could have gotten the overpaid amount back. I also noticed the lack of Covid sanitation.. I will be going to a different dentist.. too many other issues in the past for me to continue here...

If you are looking for your next dentist, you found it. These ladies will take you in like family, and become the best advocate for your dental care. A couple months ago I knocked out my front four teeth. I was at another emergency dentist at the time and I felt as if something was off, so I found Paige on google, and reached out to her. She immediately called me because she was how terrible the other doctor's work was and took me in. From that moment on, Paige and her entire team were so overwhelming kind, they were attentive, and you could tell that they genuinely cared about you as a person. Also, they care about what is going into your mouth and body, offering natural options. If I had not come to Brighton I wouldn't have teeth right now. They took me into their office and made me feel right at home, offering the best care in San Diego. Dr. Paige Woods, and the individuals in her office are angels, and you would be mistaken to take your business anywhere else.

First off, what an AMAZING beautiful fresh dental office. I came in to get my teeth cleaned last week, and unlike most Dentists that try to sell you a bunch of non sense, and fill a bunch of cavities that don't need to be filled. Dr. Woods is really passionate about her patients, and she truly wants the best for them. She made me a custom mold to reverse some small cavities that were starting. I am forever grateful for this Holistic approach of dentistry. Thank you so much Dr. Woods and Brighton Dental for the comfort and care. I really felt like I was part of their Family during my visit.
