Dr. Dass is a member of the American Dental Association and the Seventh district dental society. He graduated from the University of Rochester and later Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH. He has completed graduate training in general dentistry at Eastman Dental Center in Rochester, NY where he was elected the resident representative (ombudsman).
He attends numerous advanced education courses for dentists throughout the country. His professional interests include implant restoration, general dentistry and cosmetic dentistry. Outside the office, his passions are traveling, personal fitness, and water sports. Dr. Dass loves to spend time with his daughter and his dogs and kitty. Dr. Dass has been a member of the Brighton Dental team since 1993.
Dr. Nanavati, a graduate of the University of Rochester, received her degree from the Dental School at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH in 1993. Following graduation, she completed two internships there the first in Advanced Education in General Dentistry and the second in Implant Dentistry. In 1996, she joined the University Faculty Group at Strong Memorial Hospital as a clinical instructor.
Her professional interests include cosmetics, implants, and removable prosthetics. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends. Dr. Dana (Nanavati) has been a member of the Brighton Dental team since 2006.
Dr. Adam Chalom attended SUNY Albany for his undergraduate education and attended University at Buffalo Dental School for his degree. Dr. Chalom continues to educate and further his expertise by attending continuing education courses all over the the country. Dr. Chalom is a general dentist who is trained in performing endodontic treatment, oral surgery, as well as dental implants. Dr. Chalom excels at aesthetic make-overs, and scrutinizes at the nuances that are often overlooked.
Outside of the office, Dr. Chalom is a avid traveler. He enjoys traveling to diverse countries, diving with sharks. He has visited over 20 different countries in South America, Central America, South East Asia and Europe. Dr. Chalom is an avid lover of film & Music and attends live music events. He enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter. Enjoys creating art work at his studio with unique techniques and exploring alternate ways of creating art.
Our dental hygienists are graduates of a comprehensive two-year program from Monroe Community College in Rochester, NY. They take pride in their meticulous work, but at the same time are extremely gentle and take the patients comfort into consideration. They are also very thorough in individualized home care for each of our patients. Our dentists and hygienists have taken several continuing education courses on the control and progression of gum disease. They use the latest techniques in their treatment procedures. Our hygienists have a combined professional experience of ten years.
Our chair-side dental assistants are highly trained, and each has more than five years experience in dental assisting. They are also trained in all the different procedures of dentistry and strive to always be considerate of the patients needs and comfort.
Our business associates are highly talented and considerate in scheduling patients at the most convenient times possible. In addition, they are experienced and skilled at handling financial and insurance questions.

Me moved and needed a new dentist. Our last dental office was so terrible it made us nervous at the dentist for the first time in our lives. This office changed that. The staff is very friendly and personable. They're not trying to sell or up-sell you on services you don't want or need. The atmosphere is professional but relaxed and the office is clean and conveniently located. We're very glad to have a dentist we trust again!

I've been to a dozen different dentist's offices and this is the best practice I've ever found. Everyone is friendly. Communication about everything is always crystal clear, from appointments to costs to issues. If you have a complaint the office manager (Fi) who knows your name after your first visit will address it and make sure you're happy, but there's almost never anything to complain about. They treat you like family and I couldn't ask for more.

Always a pleasant experience with knowledgeable staff. They take their time explaining any issues to you and are incredibly patient with any questions you might have. Friendly staff that seem to stick around. I like going in knowing that I'll likely see the same faces as my last visit.

We had prepared for our 6 month cleaning which involved me leaving work early/picking up daughter from school. Yesterday in the mail, I noticed a letter from them...the letter was stating that they had to cancel our appoints and to call and reschedule. I checked my email and text for notification of this, but later confirmed, they only send cancellations via snail mail. They take such time to confirm appointments and to send reminders but apparently can care less about cancelling on customers. When I called to to confirm this, the lady confirmed. Then to make matters worse, they didn't have any cleaning appointments for another 4 or 5 months out. I'm not even mad about the fact they didn't have any more appointments as they say they're short staffed. I can easily just schedule that somewhere else...but the fact that they put such little care into notifying one of a cancellation is annoying to say the least. If I wouldn't have seen that mail from them yesterday, I would have showed up a lot more heated. 2 out of 5 for the good dental workers, but the carelessness of the cancellation/operation definitely caused headache.

This week I had the best experience I've ever had while in a dentist's office. My first visit with Dr. Chalom proved to be stress-free and yes, enjoyable! He makes you feel at ease, spending time just talking to you so that you are comfortable with the procedures that are about to take place. He recommended an alternative treatment that saved me HUNDREDS of dollars for which I am so grateful. I would recommend him without reservation to anyone seeking a competent, bright and ethical provider who really knows what he's doing.

My dental hygienist Umar was extremely professional and efficient. He gave me a thorough dental cleaning and I am very happy with the service. The Secretary in the office was also extremely helpful and patient as I completed all of my paperwork. Thank you so much !!!

I've been going to Brighton Dental for a few years now. I started off without insurance and now I have dental insurance. The prices are reasonable and they never pressure you to get work done if it's not necessary. Dr.Chalom is funny and personable and makes the whole experience pleasant!

Brighton dental has been treating and caring for my family for years. Dr Chalom is always kind, caring, and does a great job on any work that needs to be done. I looked for a long time for a good dentist and I'm so glad I found him. Fee at the desk is always understanding, they make sure you understand, and provide great customer service :) Kathy also helps you find what options you have for payment and what insurance covers. All around a great team and I wouldn't trust anyone else with my family!
