Dr. Zahra Kavianpour graduated in 1982 with a Biochemistry Degree and received her D.D.S. (Doctor of Dental Surgery) degree in May 1987 from the University of Maryland. In private practice for more than 30 years, she is a highly skilled esthetic and restorative dentist who regularly upgrades her skills through continuing education and postgraduate courses in cosmetic dentistry, dental implants, orthodontics, and sedation dentistry.
Dr. Kavianpour ensures that you receive the benefit of state-of-the-art techniques and materials. She has trained at the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies in cosmetic dentistry and is a member of the American Dental Association, Virginia State Dental Association, Northern Virginia Dental Association, Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation, and the U.S. Dental Institute in Orthodontics.
Dr. Zahra Kavianpour is committed to giving the highest quality service and treatment to each of her clients. She not only develops an understanding of the health and function of each patients mouth but also takes the time to understand his/her fears, goals and priorities.

Dr. Wesam Al-Joburi is a Periodontist serving patients in Northern, VA and the Washington, DC metro area. He is a dental implant and gum surgeon specialist and works with patients to restore missing teeth and the effects of advanced periodontal disease.
In 1981, Dr. Al-Joburi completed a three-year program to receive his periodontics certificate and Master of Science in Dentistry from the University of Alabama in Birmingham. He was the associate professor and head of the Division of Periodontics at McGill University in Montreal, Canada from 1984-1989. He served as co-chairman of the Broward Dental Research Clinics Periodontal Division.
Dr. Al-Joburi has had several articles published in dental journals and made numerous presentations at local, national and international meetings. Since 1978 he has been a member of the American Dental Association, the Florida Dental Association, and the Atlantic Dental Association, and is a fellow of the Academy of Periodontology.
Dr. Eiman Khalili is an Endodontist and root canal specialist in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. He received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from New York University in 2011, where he also completed the Advanced Education Program of Endodontics in 2013. He has been practicing full time since then.
Dr. K enjoys working with patients to help them feel relaxed and comfortable before, during, and after their root canal or dental procedure. Patients are often nervous before having root canals or other dental work done,but Dr. Khalilis ability to help them relax ensures they have a much better overall experience. Nothing makes him happier than hearing patients tell him how pleased they are that their pain has been alleviated.

I have always enjoyed my experience here my mom came here and now i come here and the people here are so nice and i've never once had a problem. Definitely recommend coming here if you are new in town or just looking for something new!

Staff is great when you can reach them. Additionally, they are very prompt and straight forward in the office. However, when I went them at the end of April they stated I need a root canal which I knew. However, if you need a root canal done with them 2 things a)make sure your mondays are available or you be like me and b)do not pay them till the day of the procedure and if they pressure you, leave. On my first appointment I paid for the root canal and crown and I schedule the procedure for the following monday. I was then called a day later to reschedule for the monday following, I agreed not knowing at the time I could not leave that monday. So, I called to reschedule for the monday following the monday. I got no one so I left a voicemail and the doctor called back promptly and agreed to schedule it for that monday. That Wedenesday the week prior to the appointment I got a call confirming the orthodontist could do the root canal that day at this dentistry and would be coming. The monday of the appointment I did the prep work, I got there in a timely fashion to only sit there for 2 hours before I could reach someone. Who states due to the comment of needing to be rescheduled I was forgotten. They tried to reschedule, however, mondays were not working out so I said no thanks and asked if I could get a refund since I paid for a procedure that never occurred. The lady stated yes and informed me someone from accounting would reach out that Wednesday to discuss options since the doctor who runs the practice was away on travel. Accounting never called, I called and got a hold of no one. I am still calling and getting no one, I left voicemails requesting a refund and no response. I am currently in the process of bank claims for a refund. So please note the outside orthodonist only shows on Monday, do not pay till day of procedure, and call to confirm they remember day of procedure. Don't get lost in miscommuncated notes.

I love Dr. Kavianpour. I have been a patient for two years and she does great work (I had a root canal and several cavities filled) and is always gentle, thorough and very kind. The entire staff is terrific. I highly recommend this office!

Excellent dental practice with far better quality and care than my last dentist. They really want to make sure you're confortable and have healthy teeth. Never felt like they were pushing for something unnecessary. Everyone is super nice and listens to problems or issues you have- just an amazing practice that makes going to the dentist much more pleasant.

Dr Kavianpour changed the direction of my life . A little more than a decade ago I walked into her office . About a month later , I had a Hollywood smile . I often go to Star Trek Conventions and do photo ops with many of the Stars and my smile is better . Before visiting her office , I dreaded Dentist . Now , I look forward to my appointments . It feels like family .
