Samantha is one of our wonderful dental assistants. She is from the area and began at Bright Star Dental in 2017. She is passionate about her family and enjoys taking time to be with them. In addition to her two-legged family members, her family also shares four four-legged members. Samantha likes to cook, read and loves any opportunity to express her brilliant creative side.
Dr. Tamtam is a graduate of the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. Prior to her move to the United States, Dr. Tamtam earned a B.D.S. in India. She prides herself on staying up with the most current and up-to-date advances in technology and research in the dental field.
Dr. Tamtams passion is to educate her patients on the prevention of dental disease. She is very gentle and caring. She takes great pride in her work and wants all her patients to have a healthy and happy smile to last them a lifetime.

Dr. Tamtam and her staff are always professional and courteous. I'm always seen on time, which is much appreciated with a busy work schedule. Today I had some dental work done and was told it would take 30-40 min. Dr. Tamtam and her assistant went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and completed the procedure within 30 min. Thank you Dr. Tamtam.

I normally hate going to the dentist but I have had no problems here. Engender when the cavity is in a hard to reach spot the professionalism wins out and gets the job done. Thank you so much for that .

* Dr. Tamtam and her staff are truly amazing. Always considerate and caring. I feel that they always do everything to make sure I am comfortable and pain free. This was just a routine exam and cleaning. Previously a new crown was needed for a damaged tooth and it feels so natural. Thank you. Follow up visit yesterday. And, again, they are great. Her dental assistants are top notch.

Well i will start by saying this was the worst dentist I've been to for an extraction. I've had 5 of them.. to start. She was rude to her tech the entire time I feel bad for the guy. Second after she gave me my numbing medicine waited about 15 minutes then started tugging on my tooth. I made multiple noises to let her know that it still hurts and I'm still feeling pain. She said "you shouldn't be" i said well I am. It took me shaking uncontrollably for her to give me more numbing medicine. Third, after the extraction happened. She told the tech when he asked where more gauze was she replied. "Supply's are expensive". Hinting to the tech that I don't need anymore mind you I'm bleeding quite a bit. And also when she was doing my sutures she hooked my top lip and said "oh just checking to see if you've got feeling there". And after all that she said she had sent my prescription to HEB which was some Tylenol with codine in it which I told her it didn't do anything. Because I'm 300 lbs so I metabolize it a bit different. My wife waited in line for 45 minutes at the pharmacy just to be told they didn't have it.. so I had to go all night in excruciating pain and find pain meds on the street. Because she didn't send my prescription in. I will never go back to this dentist and I hope no one ever does. Thank you for the worse experience I've had at a dentist this place is the nightmare dentist that kids are afraid of.

The entire staff is just amazing and friendly! Got my deep cleaning done and still have more work scheduled and can't wait until I have my smile back! Thank ya'll for being so caring and non judgemental :-) **so very happy I got my front tooth fixed, thank you Dr Tamtam!!

Couldn't get the receptionist, Irma, to verify insurance. Gave explicit instructions on how to do so, emailed the ID cards as requested and all. Irma said she never received any emails, even though I replied straight back to her emails and all my replies showed up in my "sent" file. Seems like maybe they have a blocker or firewall on their server. But can't review the services here since we won't be going if they can't even get insurance verified.

I haven't had bad service hear personally but, my wife has along with my father in law and parents. Staff is continually changing along with hygienist.
