Dr. Bright completed his undergraduate studies at the University of North Florida here in Jacksonville. While earning his degree, he served as a volunteer dental assistant at the Sulzbacher Center for the homeless and as a math and science tutor for children living at the center. It was there that he realized his career interest in dentistry could be combined with his passion for helping children.
Graduating magna cum laude from UNF with a BS degree in Biology and a Minor in Public Health, Dr. Bright went on to earn his DMD from the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry. He then pursued two additional years of specialty training completing his Pediatric Dental Residency at the University of Kentucky Hospital where he served as Chief Resident. Dr. Bright has extensive training and experience with children that have special healthcare needs, anxiety and sensory processing demands. Dr. Bright is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the Southeastern Society of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the Florida Dental Association and the Florida Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
He and his wife live in St Johns County with their two children, Harrison and Amelia. The Brights love exploring the outdoors, traveling and spending time with family and friends. In his spare time, Dr. Bright enjoys a good tennis match and playing experimental chef with new foods and recipes.

Patients and parents alike are also encouraged to take advantage of our office-wide Wifi while they relax in our comfortable, cozy seating area. Weve also equipped each private treatment room with an overhead television monitor and headphones to help your child feel at ease during their treatment.

GREAT experience my daughter loved it and she's not a fan of the dentist so this says a lot Dr.Natalia was the best super caring and very professional you can tell she cares for the kids and their parents. Definitely coming back

If I could give them 6 stars, I would! Both of my kids are very scared of the dentist and had such a great experience here that they've been asking when they can go back! This team goes above and beyond and they think of every single little detail to put the kids at ease and make going to the dentist fun. I'm so glad I found this office!

FEB 2022: I wish I could give them less than one star. Do not go there if your child needs anything more than just a cleaning. My child has a few extra needs with his teeth. They made back handed comments about his teeth and even made comments about my second child's teeth being "surprisingly fine". My child received dental work from them and it was not done well. Instead of owning their mistake when problems began, they made more back handed comments. We have switched dentists and unfortunately all of the procedures have to be done again because they were done poorly. Yes, that means we have to pay for everything again too. I'm heartbroken that he has yet another hurdle because of this dentistry.

My children have been coming to this office for 3 years. It is always an extremely wonderful and pleasant experience from the moment you enter the door until you leave. For routine cleanings, and dental work all three of my girls live going to the dentist because of Dr Bright and his staff. Highly recommend.

Our first time was today 1/10/22 and the office is just so welcoming and so friendly. Loved the staff and my daughter felt comfortable here! I am very pleased with the service we received and I can't wait to see where our dental journey goes!

This place is truly amazing! The staff is so kind and caring and make you feel right at home. Dr. Bright is wonderful and very thorough. The office is clean and kid friendly. My kids always ask me when their next cleaning appointment is as they can't wait to go back! Thank you for always a superb experience!

Office has always been super clean, staff absolutely amazing, a lot of toys/books for the children, keep the parents informed during any and all procedures. I love this place and I am absolutely blessed to have found them for my children's dental care. Highly recommend.

I cannot speak highly enough about our experiences with Dr. Bright and his staff at Bright Smiles. They are all so sweet and patient with my little ones who sometimes are a little bit nervous about dentist visits. The office is impeccably clean and FULL of neat toys for the kids. Sometimes we show up a few minutes early so the girls can play with the goodies in their waiting room! Looking forward to many more years of great service (and healthy teeth) from Bright Smiles!!
