Dr. Cruz received his bachelors degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University. From there, he attended the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (now known as Rutgers School of Dental Medicine) and completed a general practice residency at Kings County Hospital Center in his hometown of Brooklyn, New York. During his residency, Dr. Cruz encountered hundreds of clients with various dental phobias. He has dedicated himself to implementing gentle and efficient techniques to dispel these fears. Dr. Cruzs favorite procedures are aesthetic cases (Invisalign aligners, veneers, gold inlays and onlays, etc.) and pediatric dentistry.
Outside of dentistry, he enjoys exercising, coaching local football and basketball teams, and spending time with family and friends. Since relocating to the Hudson Valley, Dr. Cruz has enjoyed visiting local landmarks and experiencing everything the area has to offer.
I have been working in the dental field for over five years. I love meeting new people every day and being able to help any way I can. I love being a part of a wonderful team and giving our clients confidence as they walk out of our doors. Our team is wonderful and very cheerful, and they have welcomed me with open arms. I am excited to be a part of a wonderful family here at Bright Smiles of Beacon.
I am a busy mommy of four little humans and three fur babies: a puppy and two cats. I love spending time with my family just being silly, learning with them and watching them grow. I also enjoy baking, playing board games, going on road trips and just having fun. I mostly enjoy being spontaneous and creative, though. I look forward to meeting you!
I have been a hygienist for almost 20 years at this office. I have spent those years treating the greatest clients I could ever ask for. I am privileged to have the opportunity to continue to provide each client with the ability to have a totally healthy mouth. I am very excited to be a part of the Bright Smiles of Beacon team with Dr. Cruz. It is very gratifying for me to know that we as a team are very passionate about providing our clients with the highest quality of treatment while in a calm and caring atmosphere.
I have been married for just about 20 years as well. I am also the proud mother of three amazing children who bring me joy daily. When I am not in the office, I spend my time either at a dance studio, a ball field or within the comfort of my home. I love spending time with family and friends, being on the beach, and enjoying warm sunny days.
I have been a dental hygienist since 1989 and have been practicing part time in this office since 2006. I received my dental hygiene anesthesia license in 2004, which allows me to administer nitrous oxide and local anesthesia injections. I am very excited to work alongside a great team under the direction of Dr. Cruz. I treat all my clients as if they were my family members and will consider you as such. I take pride in educating my clients on how they can achieve overall health.
I have been married to Patrick for over 20 years, and our daughter will be entering her second year of college. In my spare time, I enjoy watching and playing baseball, especially with my New York Yankee family. In addition, I love to garden and spend time with friends and family.
I have been a dental assistant for over 20 years. I am a people person and love working with and learning about our clients. This profession is so interesting! Each client has a different need, a different story and a different case. The combination of working with such great clients and such great co-workers is very fulfilling.

Professional, yet personable. Takes each client's time as precious. Trust worthy in their ability to know, and are educated in the practice of dentistry and their ability to help you understand each step of your procedure is excellent. I highly recommend this practice in every avenue of the profession!! I actually enjoy going there, can you believe it is possible to enjoy going to the dentist?? Well, it is possible!! I see them every 6 months for my cleaning, anxiously!!!

I'm very happy with the results of my Invisaline treatment from Bright Smiles of Beacon! Last year, I had one loose tooth and another starting to become loose due to misalignment. The problem was, my teeth had shifted and some were striking against others. The Invisaline corrected my bite, the teeth are no longer loose, and my smile looks great! It didn't hurt a bit. My friends never knew I was using Invisaline. Additionally, the price Dr. Cruz gave me was less than others in Beacon. It was well worth it. As usual, Dr. Cruz was very thorough in explaining everything to me. I do recommend Dr. Cruz to all my friends.

Bright Smiles is tops, from a routine cleaning to more complex matters. After Amy cleaned my teeth, they really looked better. Then we had to deal with the ongoing issue of my shifting teeth. I was a little upset at first, because it's complicated and I didn't know which course of treatment to choose. However, after Dr. Cruz's thorough and caring consultation, I'm satisfied that I made the right decision. I've been going there for years, and always recommend Dr. Cruz.

Amy the dental hygienist gave me the best cleaning I've ever had! And Dr. Cruz is fabulous. Highly recommend. The one downside is that they don't take dental insurance so you have to pay out of pocket, but they will submit claims for you. So the practice is limited to people who can afford their services.

I had my second visit to Bright Smiles (Dr. Tony Cruz-McLeod) and it confirmed what I discovered the first time. He and his staff are really truly outstanding. I had an emergency and ended up needing two crowns fitted. He so patiently explained everything he needed to do and checked in with me as he was working on my teeth to make sure I was never in pain, and I didn't need anything. His assistant, Terri, is incredible as well. They worked so seamlessly as a team. BONUS: Terri asked me what kind of music I liked and queued it up on Alexa! And even added some essential oil (of my choice) to their diffuser.

Came in today for my first visit. Not only are they all incredibly personable and funny and charismatic, their office is honestly enjoyable to be in - bright colors and funny pictures on the walls, huge windows to enjoy the outside scenery, and get this - they surprised me with Alexa in all the exam rooms so you can choose your own music for your visit. I never thought I'd actually enjoy a visit to the dentist as much as I did but I think I'm going to look forward to coming back.
