Dr. Bradley Cox absolutely loved his time working with kids as a teacher prior to becoming a dentist and he draws on those experiences when teaching his patients about their oral health. He is dedicated to providing each child the best possible care and experience.

Dr. Brad, (as his patients know him) completed his undergraduate degree at Pacific Lutheran University, where he received a Bachelor of Science in biology. He continued his education at Saint Martins University with a focus on biochemistry and microbiology, while also teaching biology and mathematics at a K-12 private school in Washington.

Dr. Brad received a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Washington, graduating at the top of his class. He was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society and received the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry Predoctoral Certificate of Merit for outstanding promise in the field of Pediatric Dentistry.

Dr. Brad completed a two-year hospital-based residency in Indianapolis at Riley Hospital for Children, specializing in Pediatric Dentistry, and also received a Master of Science in Dentistry degree. During residency he received the Ralph E. McDonald Scholarship Award for his outstanding performance. Dr. Brad is a board-certified diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the American Dental Association.

Dr. Mark Corbman was raised in Philadelphia and attended Germantown High School, Temple University College of Education, and Temple University School of Dentistry. He then studied at The Childrens Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) where he was a resident in pediatric dentistry. After completion of his residency, he has been in practice in Sellersville in the Grandview Hospital area. He is an Attending an Associate Clinical Professor of Pediatric Dentistry at The University of Pennsylvanian School of Dental Medicine, and a member of the Department of Surgery of Grandview Hospital.

Simple, we are kid experts! While family dentists practice general dentistry for people of all ages, a pediatric dentist spends all day every day only treating patients generally 18 years old or younger. Pediatric dentists undergo two extra years of specialized residency training after becoming a dentist. Their training includes advanced techniques and procedures to help even the most apprehensive child become comfortable. They also take courses in sedation, growth, development, orthodontics, childhood diseases, child psychology and children with special needs. This allows them to understand the specific needs of younger patients as they grow into adults. Read about the specialized training details from the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.

Once your child has teeth its time to start cleaning and caring for them. The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry recommends children are seen by age one or when their first teeth start coming in. Routine dental check-ups at least twice a year are recommended. The earlier you introduce your child to the dentist the more comfortable they will be with oral health care for life.

Healthy baby teeth are more important than most people realize. They not only allow for pain-free eating and drinking but they also keep the space for adult teeth to come in properly. Keeping baby teeth healthy is one of the best ways to prevent painful infections that can damage permanent teeth.

Tooth decay (cavities) are not the only reason to visit the dentist. Preventative services such as cleaning, polishing, fluoride treatments and sealants work together with dietary counseling and oral hygiene instruction to insure your child has a bright cavity-free smile for a lifetime. We also evaluate growth patterns, assess the need for early orthodontic treatment and much more.

We believe the dentist should be fun! Our goal is to make every visit enjoyable for your family. This starts as soon as you enter our office which is full of kid-friendly games, books, iPads, toys and prizes. Your childs emotional health is our top priority and our specialized team is dedicated to provide a positive, fun, nurturing environment that will make your child excited to come back and visit us.

Parents are encouraged to come back with their children for cleanings and treatment however you are welcome to just sit-back and relax with complementary coffee and Wi-Fi in the waiting room if you prefer. We also provide 24/7 emergency call for our patients so you can rest assured knowing that when the inevitable chip, crack or ouch happens, we will be here for you.

Our entire staff loves working with children. We realize that the initial experiences a child has with their dentist will be reflected throughout their lifetime. Our goal is to provide a warm and fun atmosphere for your family while providing the utmost quality of care. We treat every child as we would treat our own.

Dr Brad is good. I wouldn't recommend any other doctor in other bright smile locations. I continued treatment for kids because of how well Dr Brad took care of my kids needs and excellent manners plus service. Won't go with any other doc.

I found Bright Smiles Kids Dentistry on line since we are newer to the area. I called to make my appointments and the receptionist was so helpful and sweet! I had a great feeling about the visit for the kids after speaking with her. Once we arrived the visit went so well! The kids had no fear of the Dentist. I'm so glad we found a great Doctor!

The entire staff was very nice! My one-year-old daughter had a meltdown, since it was her first visit; but everyone - especially the dentist (Dr. Brad) - was great with her. I was put at ease, and it was a good first visit. We'll be back in 6 months.

Could not be happier with my decision to go to this Dentist for my toddler! When I tell you these people are the sweetest and most patient people, I'm not exaggerating! My son started to cry and get really nervous and his Dentist QUICKLY got him to calm down and got him so comfortable! He let him use the little mirror for the inside of his mouth, let him brush his own teeth, and then my son willingly let the Dentist do it himself. He was GREAT. He came up with a whole game plan for me and it was all just such a great experience all in all. SO thankful to have found a place like this!

I can not even begin to express the amount of professionalism and attentiveness this dentistry has. We transferred here due to my five year old having dental anxiety, and we visited one time and I knew this was the place for us. ALL of the staff are amazing, loving and compassionate, reassuring and thorough. I do not feel rushed, I feel like I'm being heard and considered when it comes to my child's dental work/needs, and I feel like the staff has known us forever. My son had to get dental work at Grandview and got general anesthesia with Dr. Brad and it was absolutely phenomenal in every way. I have ZERO complaints about our choice in dentistry. Do not look any further for a pediatric dentist, this is where EVERY child should go. An added plus is Dr. Brad and his staff give each child a token after their visit and they get to put it in the toy vending machine and get a treasure! Just brilliant.
