Dr Divya Arora DDS is a graduate of Prestigious New York University College of Dentistry and has been practicing general dentistry for over 12 years. She has taken many continuing education courses and excels in many facets of dentistry including Cosmetic dentistry, Periodontitis, Restoring dental implants, Restorative and Crown and Bridge Therapy. Dr Arora has been practicing Dentistry at Allied Dental offices in New Jersey, Pennsylvania from last five years. She enjoys doing all phases of dentistry at this busy practice. In particular her clinical experience includes Surgical and Non-Surgical Extractions, Fixed and Removable Prosthodontics, Operative and Esthetic dentistry, Serial Extractions, Anterior and Pre-molar Endodontics and Restoration of Dental Implants. She is proud of her good handling and great rapport while working with Children. As a mother of two children, She enjoys treating patients of all ages and has a gentle way of working to make sure that her patients feel comfortable. She always listen to her patient concerns and work according to patient preferences while rendering the best quality treatment possible.
Massiel is one of our wonderful Practice Administrator. She has vast experience in the Medical Office management field. She can help you out with your dental insurance and advise you on financial matters as well as how best to utilize your dental benefits.
Phyllis is a Registered Dental Hygienist and has been with our team for over 2 years. In the field for more than 40 years, is very experienced and knowledgeable. Always helping to educate on proper oral hygiene. You will not get a more thorough prophylaxis (cleaning). She is very empathetic and caring with patients. We are proud to have her on our team.

I had my first visit to Bright Smiles/Dr. Divya Arora's office, at the end of June 2020 for a problem that has been with me for at least 7 months. I saw specialists and tried various protocols to no avail, all leading to dead ends and wrong directions. --- I could not ask for a better amazingly skilled dentist, and human being than Dr. Divya Arora. (Her staff is also great). She is a rare, exceptional find! I found her to be so attentive and concerned with what I had to say. She not only intently listened to me (and everyone) - with reverence - but she also wanted to fully comprehend my individual situation in conversation where I felt validated. I had been to many other docs and dentists lacking any real, individual connection. I am the one who knows my body best, and they were all off the mark. --- There is something exceptional going on at Dr. Arora's office. Through her subtle, centered energy, and through her knowledge and genuine care, I am already feeling so much better, and my problem is actually shifting!!! Maybe the magic in healing lies in a brilliant space to feel unified to know which direction to take for yourself?! Some people may care where and how big a building is, but for my money, I would meet this doctor under a bridge and have an extraordinary experience!!!! Again, in December 2020 I had the pleasure of visiting the dentist at Bright Smiles, Dr Divya Arora DDS, in Rockaway, NJ for service on my teeth. She has perfect and complete gentle control while working in your mouth, and her skill, intelligence, manner, and expertise complements her warmth and compassion. It is always a truly special unique experience, and she is such an honorable human being. I always feel so uplifted and satisfied when the session is finished. I cannot say enough about this wonderful experience and caring Dentist. Absolutely the very best dentist I have ever had. I have a son who is two and a daughter who is seven they are both usually petrified the thought of even having their teeth checked! The people who work here are awesome both my kids sat still, no kicking or screaming and got the job done in a smoothly kindly manner. Kid friendly which is always a plus!

Dr.Arora is the best doctor!!!! She understands and cares.She takes her time and listens to you.she gives different options if your insurance does not cover the work.. Also, when I was in pain, she gave me a prescription to ease the pain. Dr. Arora knows what she's doing. She will lay out all your options and won't push you to have work done that is not absolutely necessary. She works with you and your insurance company to make sure your dental needs don't break the bank. I've been to many dentists, and she is the best.

This is bi far the worst dentist I have ever been to period. They have no care for their patients while there in the chair. Or after they leave and the receptionist that always is in a bad mood. Good look getting her to send your xrays

If I could spare just one person from the ordeal I went through at Bright Smiles Family Dental, then this review will be justly warranted. At minimum, Dr. Divya Arora and her hygienist displayed a staggering level of ineptitude and disregard for patient safety. My experience at this facility was more akin to a carousel of horrors than a commitment to health. I scheduled an appointment to receive a single crown over a tooth. Dr. Arora decides to give me a full mouth x-ray series consisting of 18 exposures. This up-selling of x-rays had little to do with my benefit because Dr. Arora made this decision without first looking in my mouth! And this was just the beginning of the surprises. Dr. Arora then decides to use an x-ray machine with a circular collimator instead of a rectangular collimator. Circular collimators emit up to 60% more ionizing radiation than rectangular units. While this is bad enough, it doesn't reveal the full extent of the hazards to a patient. Circular collimators do not condense or restrict the radiation beam as a rectangular collimator does. When a hygienest performs radiographs with a circular collimator, the ionizing radiation penetrates not just deeper into one's body, but also spreads across a much wider surface area as well! The difference in the field of exposure between these two collimators can be thought of somewhat like a household flashlight adjusted from a narrow, focused beam to a wide, dispersed beam, except unlike the circular collimator, the flashlight will not cause DNA damage and induce cancer. Imagine then, this type of unit being used to take not one or two x-rays, but a full series of eighteen. What's more, it is a documented fact that ionizing radiation can demineralize teeth. It is no exaggeration to state that Dr. Arora's "therapeutic" approach actually creates caries and poor oral health, which leads to an up-selling of more services. Using a circular collimating unit will deliver ionizing radiation throughout the entire mouth and into your head and throat. This is referred to as the "bystander effect." A full mouth x-ray series with a circular collimator is also like getting each tooth in one's mouth zapped with 60% more radiation, but repeated eighteen times to each tooth. Teeth are alive and an indication of overall health. However, Dr. Arora's seems oblivious to this fundamental fact as the treatment she dispenses is actually promoting disease, not solely in the mouth, but throughout the entire body. Within 24 hours of getting bombarded with radiation, I developed eye floaters, which I still have months later. My voice soon changed to a lower pitch as though my vocal chords sustained injury. My esophagus felt as though I had swallowed a scorching liquid, a sensation that lasted months. I never knew what migraine headaches felt like until Dr. Arora's initiated her treatment plan and soon began to experience them with a terrible frequency. I also developed chronic dry mouth indicating damage to my salivary glands. Importantly, I had none of these symptoms and manifestations of illness the day prior to visiting Bright Smiles Family. If you were to chart the early onset of these symptoms after my appointment, along with the known, documented adverse effects of excessive radiation, then a clearer picture starts to emerge of causation. One has to seriously question if Dr. Arora has kept up-to-date with evidence-based dentistry and the mandate to keep radiation exposure "as low as reasonably achievable", known as the ALARA principle, which is the accepted standard in the industry. Or one has to question if her normal practices and protocols were compromised on this day for some reason because she wasn't even close to delivering professional level quality service. Dr. Arora and Bright Smiles may be dentistry as practiced in the dark ages compared to dentists who understand radiation dynamics and use its power conservatively. And rock-bottom pricing should never lure you into accepting bottom-of-the-barrel services. Buyer beware!
