Dr. Katherine Bartlett received her dental degree in 2001 from Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine where she graduated with honors and was accepted to the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Dental Society and the Psi Omega Fraternity. She is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and the American Dental Association, and has been president of the Emerald Coast Chapter of the Florida Dental Association. She has been a family and cosmetic dentist at Bright Smiles in Fort Walton Beach since 2001.
Dr. Bartlett has extensive training and certifications in the field of cosmetic dentistry, including specialized training in Lumineers veneers, Invisalign orthodontics, Restylane dermal filler, Mandibular Occlusion, and LVI Endodontics. Cosmetic Dentistry is her passion and lifes work and she treats every cosmetic case with the care and attention to detail that her patients expect.
Dr. Bartletts goal is to provide the best possible dental health emphasizing your physical and emotional comfort, while maintaining the highest standards of modern dentistry. Dr. Bartlett has extensive experience working with children and believes in preventive measures such as fluoride treatments and dental sealants. She prides herself on always taking time with her patients to personally address their wants and needs.
Dr. Brooks is a native of Northwest Florida who was born and raised in Niceville, FL. She graduated from the University of Florida School of Dentistry in 2005, attended a one-year family dentistry residency, then served four years as a general dentist in the US Air Force.
Dr. Brooks came to Bright Smiles in 2010 and practices general and family dentistry for patients of all ages and is our 'go-to' gal for those difficult extractions and other more surgical procedures! She also serves proudly as a Lt Colonel and senior dentist in the Air Force Reserve and enjoys fishing, boating, and spending time with her family in the outdoors.
Dr. Cierra Sapp Johnson is also a native of Northwest Florida who grew up in Bonifay. She completed a pre-professional biology degree at The University of West Florida in 2013, graduated from dental school at The University of Louisville School of Dentistry in 2017, and attended an elite one year general practice residency at The University of Alabama. Dr. Johnson has several years in private practice and has been a doctor at Bright Smiles since 2019.. Dr Sapp Johnson treats patients of all ages and has been a great addition to the Bright Smiles family!
Dr. Blackman was born and raised in the Florida Panhandle and graduated Summa Cum Laude from Troy University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology in 2014. She was awarded her Doctorate of Dental Medicine from The University of Florida College of Dentistry in 2018 and then completed a post-graduate residency in General Dentistry at the Dental College of Georgia at Augusta University.

Wonderful staff! Dr Bartlett has such a calm bedside manner and is so good with my 13 year old. Dr. Bartlett is very patient and explains everything so well.

Can't say enough of how great this team is. They really have their stuff together, always ready, and they have an excellent temp staff always available. It's clear that they all love what they do, and it shows. Highly recommend!!

Beware if you are out of network. Bright Smiles policy is for you to provide your Social Security Number to file a claim even if not required by your insurer. This is Bright Smiles policy, not required by my insurer Delta Dental.

Everyone at Bright Smiles is FANTASTIC ! If you're nervous about going to a dentist, this is the place to go. They will make you feel very comfortable about being there. My young son is actually asking when can he go back again and has called to make his own appointment, sooner then required, LOL. Their so friendly, my son has also called, just to talk to them. Have been a patient at Bright Smiles for over 5 years now. Katherine Bartlett is my favorite dentist. My hygienist is always sweet, gentle and knowledgeable. Front desk staff will always greet & smile when you walk in. Katherine & all of the staff are helpful with any questions I might have. Friendly atmosphere. The office is always clean. Hardly ever wait too long to be called in. Highly recommend Bright Smiles for you dental needs.

Well where do I even start the ladies up there are literally the most nicest sweetest women I've ever met there so kindhearted and actually take there time with you I definitely recommend this place if you need any dental work done 100% I also look forward to walking in the door always greeted so nicely hands down this dental office is the best ever and Dr.Bartlett is the most soft spoken caring doctor I've ever met highly recommended this dental office

So I've been coming here for my 15yo son and I can't be more happier the way we are treated here. The work by the dentist is awesome. The kid doesn't even feel the numbing shot. I've never seen anybody not flinch by that shot. Also the brake down of the work is great too. They will work with you to make things easier for your wallet. We'll recommended dentist.
