For patients who require major work, a complete payment plan is designed with an appropriate payment schedule. Forms of payment accepted by the office are check, cash, or any major credit card.
Dr. de la Paz is a proud graduate of Loma Linda University School of Dentistry. He and his fantastic team proudly serve residents of Pierce County in his Tacoma, WA practice. Their passion is to treat everyone like family.
Bronson first joined Bright Smile Dental in June 2019. He was born on the island of Hawaii and moved to Washington State for four years ago. Though the weather and climate in Washington state is different from Hawaii, he appreciates the breathtaking mountain range and scenic views this state has to offer. In his spare time he enjoys hiking, eating fried chicken and waffles and, Costco hot dogs. He also likes spending quality time with his wife and children.
Veronica grew up in Michigan, but has since traveled all across the country. Shed always been encouraged to try joining the medical field, but didnt originally see where she might go. When she first started dental assisting, she was surprised by how quickly she took to it. Now shes Bright Smiles Lead Dental Assistant, and an incredibly important member of this team.
Angela was born and raised in Washington, working in food service, museums, and youth programs before joining Bright Smile Dental. She really enjoys the supportive and genuine energy of this team. She also especially loves learning about patients lives and interests. Angela knows how hard or overwhelming it can feel to go to the dentist, so she hopes patients feel listened to, cared about, and not judged at all when they come in.
Carl Andrei Pedro grew up in California, but the beautiful nature attracted him to come and live in the state of Washington. He currently lives in Tacoma and enjoys going on hikes and exploring nature on his days off.
Alix originated from Southern California, grew up in the suburbs, and lived as a sojourner in pursuit of her lifes purpose & calling. She has always had a passion to live up to her name as helper of mankind. Through a myriad of jobs and connecting with people from all walks of life, she has gained a love for learning & developing life skills that she enjoys sharing with others through her work as an Integrative Wellness & Life Coach.
She moved to the beautiful state of Washington in June of 2020 to marry Dr. de la Paz and begin their ministry of marriage to serve and help others through starting a church plant and working with their team at Bright Smile Dental to be a center of influence in their local community.

I will update after my next office visit which is the first half of a root canal. That's where the magic happens. Staff and Doctor were friendly, explained the procedure and costs. They even said a prayer with me before I left.

Last few days it's been all about my pearly whites. Seriously I was told by Family Bell dentist a complete implant which means pulling out my teeth ALL My Teeth not to mention the thousands they attached to such insanity, prior to the pandemic even with good ins. It just seem like quality work wasn't like years ago, then the pandemic hit and like many others was hesitant of going to any clinics, until a few months ago Bells terrible experience & the chaos, never returned but was told about Bright Smile Dental behind the Costco near Toyota, I was absolutely floored with their professionalism & their christianity, it was so genuine and rare from a clinic, prior to my appt I had become to embarrassed to even smile, I welcomed masking up as of today i can't stop Smiling, So thankful for 2nd opinions & no implants

So I haven't been to a dentist in about 10 years and the last dentist I went to was the only one I've ever been too. And he retired ten years ago. To be honest was very nervous to go to a new one. But I was instantly surprised when I walked in to the office. Everyone was so awesome and calming. And they are spiritual and that also was a huge plus. I want to say thank from the bottom of my heart to the receptionist whom helped me and really calmed me down. Thank you thank you thank you!!!!!

This office has a serene, calming environment and the staff are very kind. The dentist does not do unnecessary dental work but at the same time he still seems to be able to catch cavities before they become a big problem.

I set up my first appointment for today and got an exam/cleaning. The staff at the front desk are very polite, easy going, and knowledgeable when talking about services. Dr. De La Paz was very thorough on explaining recommended treatment plans for teeth fixtures that I knew I needed and best of all made me feel at ease which is a plus cause I was already embarrassed knowing that I've been needing work on my teeth so it was a relief to talk to him and his staff without feeling awkward, embarrassed, or uncomfortable. I am moving forward with them as my main provider and will recommend them to everyone I know who are in search dental services.

This is the best dentists office in the Pacific Northwest. Very clean, the employees have a pleasant attitude, and they have a tablet you can fill in your info. Not a role of noisy papers. How cool is that? Most of all, it's a calming spirit in the office. Oh yeah, the Dentist is very gentle. I truly recommend Bright Smile Dental.
