Our teams are geared up (literally watch the video) to sanitize equipment, chairs, tables, door handles, countertops etc. many times a day. And we dont stop there. PPE (think masks, gloves, gowns, and face shields) is worn by everyone in the office. Even patients get to take part by keeping masks on at all times except when being treated and doing a good disinfecting rinse before and after care.

Dr. Mark Duffy returned to Ohio to begin his dental career with Bright Now Dental. This is a big deal as Ohio is ranked 12th in the nation for having a shortage of dentists and specialty dentists. I had a very good experience yesterday. My hygienist was pleasant, professional and through. Mr. Ahmed was very careful and patient to address all my concerns. Amazing job Ahmed. I am happy with my teeth. My front desk experience was excellent as well. It was the best in a long time. I had a comfortable conversation with the person who attended to me. I did not feel rushed or as if I was a bother. Someone paid attention to what I was saying. For those reasons, I would recommend this dental office.

I'll begin by stating I have been a patient at the Bright Now Winter Garden location for 8 years, and after what happened yesterday, I will not be going back. While the hygienists are very nice and good at their jobs, the biggest problem is how poorly this office is managed. It is wholly unacceptable and unprofessional to notify a patient less than 2 hours before their appointment (that was made 5 months ago) that due to an impromptu office staff meeting, no one will be at the office for my appointment, therefore I'll need to accept an alternate appointment time. This, after being notified no less than 3 times via text message, including the day before, that my appointment was still planned as normal. This office management clearly has no respect for you, the patient, and your time. I had already used my own leave from work for this appointment, so taking an alternate appointment time would have been a waste of the leave I'd already burned. I've never been seen on time here, and yesterday was the straw that broke the camel's back. This place is an absolute mess; stay away.

BrightNow! Dental in Winter Garden Village is absolutely the worst Frankenstein horror-house dental office EVER!!! "Dr." Hunter recommended #14 extraction due to "bone loss". This was discussed Friday 9/16/2022. By Monday the 19th, the tooth was so uncomfortable, I called and was told to come in at 4:50 PM for the extraction. Upon arrival, I sat in the waiting room for approximately 25 minutes. When I got called back, I sat for another 15 minutes waiting on the dentist. She gave a local topical numbing agent she left in for about 2 min. Then, she began novocaine injections (that did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to ease the pain of the extraction)!!! She only waited about 2 minutes after the injections to begin "wiggling the tooth". I told her I felt that and she disregarded me and began the extraction. She didn't even wait for the novocain to take affect AT ALL!!! It was THE WORST, MOST PAINFUL dental extraction EVER!!!! I understand feeling pressure, that's normal! I felt every bit of PAIN IMAGINABLE!!! I was arching my back in the chair and unmistakably grunting in SEVERE PAIN, yet she just kept cranking on that tooth until it was out!!!!! Frankenstein horror-house type punishment!!! My wife told me that the front office staff heard my painful grunts as "Dr" Hunter practiced her dental torture on me. I can't express enough how HORRIBLE this experience was!!! My intention is to make as many people aware of her ineptness for extractions as possible. Please, DO NOT CHOOSE THIS DENTIST FOR AN EXTRACTION PEOPLE!!!! I hate to so much as think about it, because I wind up reliving the terror she caused!!! Also the insurance benefits person is absolutely clueless. In speaking with a corporate employee, they DO coordinate benefits with two dental insurance plans, as we have. Yet she doesn't know HOW to coordinate benefits. I paid $156 for the torture extraction when I should have paid $65 if they knew what they were doing whatsoever!!!

This place was good at one point, but now it is horrible and extremely unprofessional. The front desk staff doesn't care about the patients and have zero interest in helping. They can't keep a dentist for longer than a year. They keep hiring new staff that are not able to help patients in the right way with zero knowledge in job skills. They stopped answering phones and they had the nerve to call me back after waiting For over 2 weeks to schedule an appointment. I wish I called see another dentist in another office, but for my luck it's them or Greenberg dentist which also have bad reviews.

Dr.Hunter and her nurse Cha Cha are the best! I have extreme dental anxiety and they took me step by step though the process today. Nurse Cha Cha even remembered me from prior visit years ago! Their staff really does care! I met with Dr.Hunter a week ago due to mouth pain and she did dental X-rays and made a game plan and got me all set up to get it started! Today couldn't have gone smoother! Dr. hunter really took the time to help me understand how to get my dental health under control. The office staff is also amazing. Cecile (I think that was her name, forgive me if it wasn't) was so helpful in getting me checked out and scheduled for my next visit.

Dr Hunter was so very professional yet considerate and very Friendly. Her dental work so far has improved my smile tremendously. Can't wait to show off my beautiful teeth. Also Cha Cha gets 5 stars. Sorry to say I had a bad experience with Bright Now... been going there for a few years and was usually satisfied however this time after 2 hours and 20 minutes I had to talk to the office manager to tell her that the dental hygienist started on my cleaning and all of a sudden started on someone else in the middle of mine. Her excuse was "high volume office" not my problem...unacceptable.

Although all the employees were kind, the way the place is operating is unprofessional and seems disorganized and undisciplined. I and a few others had a 1:00 appointment for cleaning and I was 20 minutes early. The door was locked. We were let in by a nice lady who apologetically explained that the entire staff had left for lunch and it was unknown when they would be back to accommodate our 1:00 Around 1:15, 2 employees came in from their lunch without masks even though it is boldly stated on the entry doors that you MUST wear a mask when entering. My appointment was for a cleaning but I didn't get one- I was given x rays and I'd have to come back for my cleaning which, but the way, they would not be able to schedule for another 6 months! There's something wrong with how things are being run here- it was explained that lack of staffing is a big problem in this office. Well then hire more people! I will have to find another dentist office to work with if I am to have regular cleanings. PS- the office manager called me to follow up and explain why they are so short staffed...they're doing their best but are having a hard time hiring people. She was a professional and nice lady and told me she'll put me on a waiting list to try and get me a cleaning sooner. Update: Office canceled my appointment for fillings due to lack of staffing. Will definitely be finding another dentist to work with.
