Spray, scrub, wipe repeat. Its our new favorite sound. Weve always been committed to the highest safety standardsbut now deep cleaning is done before, during and after visits even in the lobby. Our teams are geared up (literally watch the video) to sanitize equipment, chairs, tables, door handles, countertops etc. many times a day. And we dont stop there. PPE (think masks, gloves, gowns, and face shields) is worn by everyone in the office. Even patients get to take part by keeping masks on at all times except when being treated and doing a good disinfecting rinse before and after care.

Many Americans have limited access to affordable dentists because they have no insurance, but the Smiles for Everyone Foundation is committed to providing free dental care to those in need.
Dr. Mark Duffy returned to Ohio to begin his dental career with Bright Now Dental. This is a big deal as Ohio is ranked 12th in the nation for having a shortage of dentists and specialty dentists. Dayton and Bright Now Dental are fortunate to have Dr. Duffy as he is a dentist who is dedicated to providing affordable quality dental care in an underserved area.

It was my daughter that had the apt. We were there for a cleaning. The tech talked socially with her, which made her feel comfortable. They did everything they could to make us feel like we had a say in almost everything. The apt was on time and went through without any complications.

When we first went there in 2019 they were amazing! Then 2020 and covid hit, which is not their fault. We went over 6 months between visits for monthly appts. Now they do not have an orthodontist or a general dentist. Front secretary staff is always great.

Update: They cannot keep their hygenist or dentist roles staffed, so they continuously have to "borrow" people from other offices, and it's just chaotic. Super long delays to get appointments. All three dentists and two hygenists from last year are now gone. What happened here??? Fine when fully staffed, but they do NOT offer root canals here!!

After multiple issues mainly with the front office and scheduling, I feel it is important to share with others our experience and to think twice before going to this location in Silverdale. The front office seems rushed and could do a better job with customer service. When we first started going here we overheard how people were calling out and busy they were. This is true for most places but don't let your customers hear everything. We regret going through them for our daughters braces. Issues just about every time we go in or we cant go in due to scheduling. So much that I have had to document and been in touch with their customer service. They have issues keeping a orthodontist staffed here so it is difficult making appts and would have preferred my daughter been seen by the same person. Believe she has had to see 4 different orthodontists at this point and currently waiting for a new one to start at this location. This last appt as we were leaving the house they called me to cancel. When I told them we had been going there for awhile, they then said Oh - we had the appt down as a consult. Thankfully I asked more questions. Instead of verifying prior to calling they were just going to cancel an appt that was a rescheduled appt due to them being closed and not contacting us to reschedule. Not only did they not contact us to reschedule, my husband had called the morning of the appt to verify. So we drove the 35 minutes to the appt only to find them closed. This last appt we show up only to be told that the dr. was running a few minutes late. When I asked what's a few minutes they said about 30 minutes. We try to be understanding and patient but way too many times has there been issue after issue. I am writing this review as I tried calling the customer service associate who was great to talk with from the last issue we had unfortunately hasn't returned my phone call. Very frustrated and disappointed. One star is for them thankfully treating my daughter well during her appts. Cant wait until her braces are off and we no longer have to worry about dealing with this office.

Poorest reception service I have ever received. Accused of things I had not done, openly spoken down to, and threatened. Do not go here. Dentists and oral surgeons did an amazing job. But the desk staff must be selected with care. This incident was over a year ago, I hope they have changed staff since then, since I never returned an never will. I cannot believe someone that detestable can hold down a job. Especially in a service where even a modicum of empathy is required. 1/5 need to revise their hiring practices.

Thank you so much to the Silverdale Bright Now Dental...from the office staff who kindly gives reminders of appointments and estimates of work to be done to the fabulous dental assistant and of course Dr. Mitchell...he is caring and encouraging to patients. Thank you all..... Had another awesome appointment with Dr. Mitchell, Laurie the Dental Hygienist-who fit me in when I mistakenly got the time wrong and the rest of the crew. Thank you so much.

I think they are running some kind of billing insurance scam. They tell you your covered and then send you a bill later for everything. They sent me a bill for $65 which I paid after checking it, and now they are sending a bill for over $400 for something over a year ago. I was there in 2022 and they said nothing about me owing them for early 2021 work. Office manager hung up on me after I asked her to stop talking over me when I called to discuss this.

Very happy to have been able to get in for a limited exam, and same day treatment. Front office Cristal was very kind, calm, helpful amongst the many tasks she had going on. Dr. Mitchell has always been very calm, gentle and informative through out our visits here, he was able to do same day treatment. I was so grateful that they were able to get us in, and understood the wait due to other patients, we didn't wait very long. I love how Dr. Mitchell thoroughly explains his findings and concerns, gives you options and tells you honestly what's wrong or his concerns, based on your concerns or possible hopes for dental care - truly trust him to do treatment on my family and friends.

After multiple botched dental appointments and high anxiety levels, I have NEVER been more comfortable in a dentist office. Dr. Mitchell and his team (from the front desk to his assistants) were all incredibly kind, helpful and comforting. They got me in for an emergency appointment and were very encouraging to continue getting the dental help I'll need for future health. I will absolutely be making this my normal dentist. Follow up: Even the surgeon was amazing! Thank Bright Now for the AMAZING help! So excited to be able to eat properly again!!

My experience at Bright Now Dental was amazing! Both Dr. Mitchell and Dr. Aaby are wonderful dentists and very skilled at what they do! The assistants, Lety and Allishia have great rapport with the patients and work so wonderfully with the doctors! I had to have a filling done with Dr. Mitchell and, I didn't even feel the needle for the injection! He was so professional and made everything painless! KT at the front desk is super nice and helped me check out in a proficient and timely manner. I would highly recommend this office for any dental needs!

I was referred to this oral surgeon for a consult by my primary dentist. The people in the front are so rude and treat you as if you're just a number. I waited in my car for almost an hour with no communication on what was going on. When they finally brought me in, they told me services were going to be covered at 80% by my insurance. Went back to the room, and they hooked me up to the IV without even doing a consult. Then, after already being hooked up to the the IV, they had me write them a check for the 20% insurance didn't cover. Long story short, 6 months later I get a bill from them saying I owe them $1200. Then their corporate office called my phone nonstop over the weekend asking for my credit card information before I could even figure out what was going on. I am fighting this with everything I have.
