PPE (think masks, gloves, gowns, and face shields) is worn by everyone in the office. Even patients get to take part by keeping masks on at all times except when being treated and doing a good disinfecting rinse before and after care.

Dr. Mark Duffy returned to Ohio to begin his dental career with Bright Now Dental. This is a big deal as Ohio is ranked 12th in the nation for having a shortage of dentists and specialty dentists. I experienced very little discomfort during the cleaning; which is saying a lot. I have very sensitive teeth and just the thought of my teeth being touched always freaks me out. Great job!

If there was a lower rate than 1 I would have given it to this dental office. The office is dirty and the their dental equipment are old. They are not using the new and modern technology equipment which are out there and make it much easier to take X-Rays and do the job. They took over 20 X-rays from my mouth which was very frustrating. Even for full mouth X-ray, you don't need to take this many X-rays. The person who took my blood pressure which is not even necessary for tooth cleaning, did not know what she was doing. It took her over 10 minutes to take my blood pressure and while she was doing it, she kicked the table and dropped everything on the floor. She did not even clean the tray or whatever which was on the table after she move them back on the table. I think they just care about money and not the patient. They just want to examine you and find how many teeth you have they can fix and charge you for as many teeth as possible. I decided to leave and go to another dental office which is cleaner and more up to date. You have to be careful these days with all the germs going around.

Was very thankful they were able to squeeze me in yesterday. I was having major tooth pain. They were able to complete my root canal same day. I noticed there were a few new girls as I hadn't been there in a couple of years. Everyone was super nice and attentive. Dr. Tran is very understanding, kind, and gentle. Had the best experience I could of had while having a root canal.

Not a fan, I wont be going back! The dentist was fine, but the office was odd. Midway through my exam asked for $25 for PPE-I was already in the chair! A huge fly buzzing around during my cleaning landed on my face! Just didn't really like it here.

I really appreciated how communicative and helpful the dental hygienist was. She did a great job educating me about what I could do to improve my dental health, and explained very well what she was doing at every step of the cleaning and other procedures.

Dental work was fine even though the dental assistant seemed to need a lot of instruction from the dentist. Maybe new? The x-ray experience was good even though the chair was quite worn. The big negative was the appearance of the office. When I entered, I was greeted with a clock in the waiting room that still was not updated since the change to PDT and many light fixtures with burned out bulbs. Only 2 of the overhead lights had all the bulbs working and a bulb at the reception desk was out. It looked like no one cared. Also, the corrugated tubes for the equipment cords in the dental rooms were noticeably old and dusty and gave the entire room a rundown look. With minimal effort and expense, the appearance of the office could have matched the dental care which I was happy with.

All 4 of them were hurting at the time. I was 21 at the time. I would go by myself to my dentist visits and I have medi cal for my insurance. My two older sister had there wisdom teeth removed for free because there medical insurance covered it all the fees. So for two years I tried to the the staff that I know my insurance covers very all the fees. The last time I was there was with my mom and that when one of the lady's upfront told my mom to call my insurance medi cal. They told me and my mom I had to pay $375 for each wisdom tooth removal in total that is $1,500. My mom said why so much of my insurance covers it. That was the first and last time me and my mole were at the horrible dentist. THEY ARE SCAMMERS!!! They employees never tried to send in the right documents to my insurance to cover the fees of my wisdom teeth this is what my insurance said to me. Please be aware they do take advantage of really young and really old people. Now this month I will be removing all my wisdom teeth under anesthesia with DR. Hoover located in Santa Ana he is 10/10 and now the coastal dental will me a new dentist as well. They both take medical insurance. Please call you insurance they will give other options to go to and that do take your insurance.
