Made an appointment for my 6 year old almost a month ago, got a confirmation call about the appointment. I arrived about 10 minutes early and the doors were locked! I finally got ahold of an outside receptionist and she even called this location.. no answer.. there was no call made nor email sent to inform me of a cancellation or anything!! To make matters worse other people were showing up for their appointments as well so that means they weren't informed either I really hope someone will reach out to me about this situation at this location

The worst. If you haven't came back for a while they won't accept you! What kind of dentist place doesn't take back patients. If your a dentist you accept all and plus it's money we're talking about. This place is not it avoid it! Find a better place for you and your kids.

Had a family member visit here for an estimate on some dental work and also to seek relief from the pain they were suffering via surgery and treatment advice, The office staff were fine, In my 30 plus years of existence, I have never experienced a dentist whom was fully capable of performing the needed procedures outright refuse service because of personal history. All that was received was a dismissive referral, an attitude problem, and a feeling of behavioral issues with the dentist herself

The new hygienist Kaylee is amazing. To begin, she performed a full mouth gum probe tracing all my teeth at the gumline so she could "learn" my mouth and confirm no presence of disease. She was also patient enough to explain when I asked questions. I was comforted by these things; specifically that she took the time for me individually. My appreciation for her only increased as the appointment continued evidenced by the rest of this review. She was gentle with appropriate strength, yet effective and not aggressive. She gave me realistically frequent opportunities to close my mouth, swallow, and relax my jaw. She also concentrated on different sections of my teeth in spurts to avoid continual annoyance in any one area, and went back over the problem spots effectively. After the scouring of my teeth, the tangerine paste was applied and rinsed (thank goodness it wasn't bubble gum flavor!), and then a full flossing was given. She caused no pain throughout, my gums were not inflamed nor bleeding, and my mouth felt refreshed and cleansed. Definitely impressed by her dental techniques, thoroughness, and chair-side manner. Enough so, that when she did suggest I obtain an oral irrigator (Waterpik(r)) to help maintain more than just standard brushing and flossing, I started researching it while still in the office, lol.

I honestly can't say enough GOOD things about this dentistry establishment. Dr. Chane is the best dentist I have ever seen and I'm almost 40 years old. I had a bad experience with a prior dentist and that dentist left me scared and I had major anxiety with tachycardia going to the dentist office. Thank God for Bright Now dental, the hygienists, and dental assistants here. It's embarrassing to say but I had a lot of cavities and I currently have two appointments left until I'm done. Dr. Chane is so calming and makes me comfortable in that seat. The prior dentist I saw said I had a few cavities, but they were not honest. I had ALOT more and am currently being treated with the upmost care. Dr. Chane takes her time and is very thorough and detailed with her work. I know I'm finally in good hands here. The girls at the front are always pleasant and helpful with accommodating me with my appointments. The pediatric dental team is also amazing with my 15 year old daughter. Everyone here is gentle, honest, and knowledgeable. I appreciate you all! Also this crew of professionals work VERY HARD and I've seen it first hand especially when they were short staffed, had an emergency, and still did their best to see and treat everyone. I would recommend Mentor Bright Now Dental to anyone! Thank you girls and Dr. Chane for putting up with me and reserving a seat for my fiance.

I came in for a first appointment two weeks ago and waited 40 minutes to be seen. They performed an exam, but said they did not have time to do a cleaning. They had me schedule a cleaning for two weeks later. Went in two weeks later for my appointment, waited 15 minutes, only to be told that they didn't have time to do my cleaning.

Everytime I made an appointment they would call me and cancel saying the doctor wasn't in and would mark me as a no show for an appointment they canceled. Then when I called to reschedule an appointment for personal reasons I left a message and got no call back and then they marked me as a no show again. I never got to actually see the dentist the whole time I was a patient here and it's been almost a year. I just made another appointment and the women on the phone told me I better show or they will not be seeing me again when I literally never got an appointment because they're dentist was never there!

Avoid like the plague- no staff- completely unorganized and no bedside manner. When you call and leave message no one calls back. The dentist was also the hygienist which was fine until we sat for over 45 minutes while she was cleaning someone else's teeth. If your short staffed notify your patient and give them the option to reschedule.

Disrespectful and horrible. I brought my 18 month old to get her tooth looked at from a fall. We waited for an hour. The receptionist didn't give us an update at all that the dentist was late to work. And when we asked about it she was rude and distasteful. And yelled at us and said "bye!" Like a child. No thank you. You deserve ZERO stars.

My daughter had her first cavity and had to have a cap placed on her tooth. She was not allowed to eat or drink the night before or morning of. The appointment was first thing in the morning and the dentist was 45 minutes late. As he started the procedure he had an unregistered dental assistant assist him with the procedure who was a 300 lb black man who started growling in my daughters face while semi under anesthesia terrifying her. When the appointment was over my daughter was completely incoherent, crying, unable to hold her head up and they expected me to carry her out at that moment. They lack professionalism, hygiene, ethics. Then proceeded to send my account to collections after harassing me multiple times a day. I reported the dentist to the dental board, and have contacted attorneys. I'm not going to stop till the dentist dies, closes his practice, or quits.

The staff used to be better. It took some time for me to numb and the dentist continued to work despite me saying I was in pain. I later over heard she had a dinner to get to and that is why they didn't do a third filling in that visit. I was never called or asked to reschedule for that cavity and have avoided dentists until I found my new one. 4 years later and I still don't have a cavity for that third filling area. When discussing this with my new dentist they said they had many complaints from Bright Now. I've also had to have a couple of the fillings they did redone. I would suggest you stay far away from this place. My husband doesn't have the best teeth but every time we went in there they demanded to do a non sedated deep clean before they would even consider a filling or pulling a tooth. If someone is in pain your teeth don't have to be clean to take care of the pain.

If you want an infected tooth filled go here.... Dr Shane always took great care of me. But this last time I felt like I was at a chop shop. She had zero patience with me not getting numb..... I had even more pain after this filling and after seeing an outside family dentist I learned an infected tooth was filled and now needs extracted (I refuse a root canal) Will not go back

Recently took my son to this office for his first appointment and all I can say is i love this office and will continue to bring my son here. Dr Tara was so caring and gentle with him even though he was very nervous. She explained all his treatment to us in a way we both could understand. Kaitlin helped check us out and make our next appointment and she was very sweet! My son is very excited for his next appointment!

I have NEVER written a negative review about a place in my life , but I feel people really need to know not to go to this place! 1st red flag was that I got to my appointment 30 min early and still waited an additional hour in the waiting room. After an 1.5 hour wait I was called for xrays. My appointment was for an exam and cleaning. ( which they confirmed ) After I was sitting in the xray chair they then decided it was a good time to tell me they do not have a hygienist on staff and they are working on hiring one! So I was not able to get my cleaning. I proceeded to the exam area where a very ubrupt unpleasant dentist came in. I don't know her name as she did not bother introducing herself. She sat down looked at my xrays started calling out a bunch of numbers and instructions to the assistant and walked away. No questions, no conversation about options...nothing. The assistant then tells me the dentist will return with a care plan for me. Nope. Never saw her again. I was taken to the reception desk where a receptionist hands me a paper saying everything I need will $4000 do you want to do that? At this point I'm like, do what exactly? So she explains. Due to all this craziness I opted to go to lake county dental instead . I went to call at noon on Saturday to ask that my records be transferred there as google said they were open till 2:00. Their machine picked up saying I reached them after hours. So I call back Monday morning and ask that my xrays be sent to LCD. The receptionist says ok by and hangs up. I received a call late afternoon from LCD saying my records were never sent. So I leave a voice mail with brightnow telling them my records never were sent. I get to my appointment this morning and of course they don't have my xrays. So I had to get a whole new set which I will prob have to pay out of pocket since insurance covers 1 set a year. Then to top it off the dentist at lake county dental tells me they can do everything needed and it will be fully covered! From $4000 to fully covered. Something is truly wrong. This place is a inept , unprofessional and unbelievably rude DO NOT GO

Such a great experience at this location! The staff went above and beyond to take care of me at my first appointment. Everyone was very nice and helpful, especially Kaitlyn and Kristin at the receptionist desk. The assistant Nancy, who took my xrays was so sweet and caring. The dentist was very gentle as well. I highly recommend this office!
