Our teams are geared up (literally watch the video) to sanitize equipment, chairs, tables, door handles, countertops etc. many times a day. And we dont stop there. PPE (think masks, gloves, gowns, and face shields) is worn by everyone in the office. Even patients get to take part by keeping masks on at all times except when being treated and doing a good disinfecting rinse before and after care.

Dr. Mark Duffy returned to Ohio to begin his dental career with Bright Now Dental. This is a big deal as Ohio is ranked 12th in the nation for having a shortage of dentists and specialty dentists. Dayton and Bright Now Dental are fortunate to have Dr. Duffy as he is a dentist who is dedicated to providing affordable quality dental care in an underserved area.

Update April 11, 2022: I went in for another crown. Still 5 Stars! Update February 9, 2021. Still 5 stars. My most recent visit October 2021 was for a cleaning with Marissa. She is very thorough, gentle and friendly. My check ups have been improving with her care and encouragement. I have been going to the same Bright Now location for almost ten years. They retain quality staff who are very friendly and competent. They use text reminders which is very helpful for me.

It was a pleasant experience, clean light and cheerful friendly employees. I would have appreciated having a minute to ask the Dr. about the findings on my x-rays but he told me I needed to see an endodontist and I left with several questions unanswered about the dx he gave me.

Worst dentists at Bright now in Clovis which resulted in having to file Grievance with California state department as they were trying to hide the information from my insurance! I went to see Dr Cuenca at Bright now dental at 1420 Shaw Ave, Clovis CA 93619 because I had a chipped tooth. He informed me that I need a crown and he started working on the tooth the same day . He never told me that he actually worked on two crowns ( teeth 19 and 20 lower left.Very arrogant guy with no manners! When I returned, the technician told me that there were two crowns. When I asked dr Cuenca how come two crowns were placed he responded" Its in your chart".That day I was sent home again with temporaries I have gone back and forth two times to the office and each time after 2 hours of waiting and then trying to fit them in and always failed to install the actual crowns. They keep trying to force them in and no anesthesia was used the second time - very painful. The answer is always we need to send it back to the lab. The second time they decided to cement tooth 20, and 19 was again left with a temporary for over 2 months. #20 was done so fast and I was not allowed to have the crown not adjusted. I that time dr Cuenca didn't even stop coming and seeing me. Didn't ask if it was fitting well. This caused so much irritation and the crown pinching on the gum on one side and not covering the tooth properly on the other side letting food and sensitivity. As a result, I suffered so much pain and can not still eat on that side with has changed my bite and now have some issues with my jaw.

Called numerous times to confirm an appointment for my mother. Called during "business hours." No one ever answers. Left 2 vmails, no phone call back. Even tried calling a different location to see if they had a different # or maybe an internal transfer. No one answered. Horrible communications.

Staff is super friendly and professional. Safety is very important so they do require a mask and chairs are positioned for social distancing. Eddie, dental hygienist, performed a teeth cleaning. He was very gentle and thorough. Dr. Erick Cuenca is the best dentist in the San Joaquin Valley! I recommend them highly.

Corporate. Contract with a Calif lab for dentures. The one in Florida is totally inept. They can't get the dentures correct even when my dentist office sends proper molds. Not happy with bright now and tell everyone so. Don't blame Clovis staff. They're very nice.

First visit for an extraction. Front staff polite and friendly, the rest of the staff polite but not friendly. Treatment plan not explained no time given to make informed decision. Staff seemed annoyed when I wanted more explanation of what not covered by insurance.

Honestly, going to the dentist is the WORST thing. I have the more severe anxiety about it, and because of that I let things go until it blows up in my face. The doctor and staff here are THE BEST. I am not gonna lie, I always cry at the dentist. It's kind of my thing because of my anxiety and fears, and the doctor is an amazing human who makes me feel less crazy. Not only does his bed side manner rock, but he beyond quick and efficient. The staff at the front desk is amazingly kind and accommodating. I've never had a bad experience and they've been seeing a lot of me. I wanted to get on here to give this review because I am just so thankful. Dental work is expensive, and the dentist I was going to do charges me TWICE what I pay here for the same if not less care and comfort. I encourage everyone to keep up on your oral health and go here because you'll be glad you did, and you won't have to sell kidney to do it. They created ways for affordable care that I am so thankful for. 10/10 RECOMMEND.

The office staff was extremely nice and helpful and understanding. The Dr was very professional and explained the procedure before procedure was done. I was not impressed with the assistant that gave instructions before leaving. Too much like a drill sergeant and not enough care for what I was going through. My other visits here have been very pleasant with no complaints.

I'm posting this on behalf of a family member who gave me the details of her experience at Bright Now (Clovis). Dr. Cuenca and his female assistant/nurse (unsure of the name) were incredibly belittling, rude, insensitive and overall unprofessional. My family member went in for their crown work. Firstly, the doctor came back in with the X-Rays and advised the patient that there were three crowns that needed to be taken care of and provided a quote. The patient asked if they could do the crowns individually to offset the impact of cost. Dr. Cuenca, clearly frustrated laughed in a belittling manner and said, "You must be confused." After clarifying with him that the priority was taking care of the crown that is causing the most pain, he frustratingly agreed to do the procedure with just two crowns instead of all three. Second issue: They did not numb the gums/teeth enough. Once the doctor was told about the insufficient numbness, Dr. Cuenca appeared increasingly frustrated. He later came back and roughly re-administered the anesthetic. This time, it went numb. Once he returned he pinned his forearm into the patients forehead while drilling heavily on the crowns. While drilling, Dr. Cuenca was telling the patient negative things about how he doesn't know if he will be able to save the tooth (mid drilling and having his forearm against the patient's face). Now, in general, advising about tooth health isn't a bad thing, but it was a combination of the clear frustration Dr. Cuenca had while leading up to the procedure that lead the patient to feel incredibly vulnerable and full of anxiety in an already worrisome situation. Lastly, the prescription after the procedure was done took over three hours to be completed. Meanwhile, the patient had to bear the full pain of the procedure. This was a terrible experience for a very open minded easy going person/patient. I insisted on writing this review for the patient because they are not one to complain or raise flags. Beware before coming to this dentist.

Worst dental office experience! Rude staff, they dont know how to set up a clear schedule for their patients. I was schedule for deep cleaning and crown at 10am and i receive a call saying they move it to 11am and i call back to move it atleast at 1030am. I thought that would be my first appt 1030 for deep cleaning and ofcourse the crown after. I had my deep cleaning done and they reschedule me for the crown coz they said i am late but i came before 1030am. Worst experience!
