PPE (think masks, gloves, gowns, and face shields) is worn by everyone in the office. Even patients get to take part by keeping masks on at all times except when being treated and doing a good disinfecting rinse before and after care.

Dr. Mark Duffy returned to Ohio to begin his dental career with Bright Now Dental. This is a big deal as Ohio is ranked 12th in the nation for having a shortage of dentists and specialty dentists. Dayton and Bright Now Dental are fortunate to have Dr. Duffy as he is a dentist who is dedicated to providing affordable quality dental care in an underserved area.

I went in for a cleaning in May of this year and received xrays then was told to make another appointment for the cleaning so I made one for June 10 on my way out. I received email confirmations about the appointment. When I showed up on June 10, they didn't know why I was there so I showed them my email confirmations and they said "that's weird, we don't have anyone to do a cleaning now". I understand people make mistakes and I'm quite reasonable so I said don't worry about it and made another appointment for July 6. I received email co formations for that as well. When I showed up for that appointment, I was told the same thing as before. Now, quite frustrated, I shook it off and said don't worry about it but let's not let this happen a third time. We then set an appointment for today, August 10, to which I received multiple appointment reminder emails, last one being yesterday. Well, I hate to say it but it happened yet again today, for a third time. I took a total of 3 days off work for this simple procedure and have had zero treatments completed and no communication other than appointment reminders. Do yourself a favor and avoid this dentist office if you value your time at all because they don't. Searching for a new dentist now as I'm months behind on getting my teeth cleaned!

The dentist have been very helpful and caring in restoring my smile. Before I came there my breath was very bad because I had periodontal disease. After getting the treatments, my breath has smelled so much better, and they taught me better habits for my teeth.

I've had a lifetime of dental fear...chalk it up to bad experiences in childhood. Dr. Chao is so gentle and kind that I actually don't mind having dental work done. She explains what she's doing at each step, and gives you options in treatments. The staff are next level friendly, courteous and professional. I really do love this office.

A few months ago, I cracked my eye tooth. Over the weekend, I had extreme pain and an abscess. I called my primary doctor who prescribed an antibiotic for me. I called Bright Smile in Antioch and explained my situation. The dental assistant receptionist was very kind and compassionate. She scheduled an appointment the next morning. As soon as I arrived, I read the sign on the door that masks were mandatory. I immediately felt safe and as I walked in to the office, I was very impressed with how clean and sanitized the chairs and tables were placed, as well as 6 ft markers before the reception area. I was greeted warmly, filled out my paperwork with a sanitized pen from the receptionist and within 15 minutes, I was greeted by the x-ray technician. She was empathetic to my pain. She completed the x-rays gently and professionally. Immediately after the x-rays, I met with the dental hygienist who explained the x-rays in detail and asked me to continue with the antibiotics. She scheduled my dental appointment for the following week. She also prepared a treatment schedule for follow up procedures and cleanings. I am confident in my choice with Bright Now; I felt very valued as patient.

I had a bridge put in for my front tooth and the color was off from my natural teeth but the Brightnow staff really talked to me about my options and the color looks good now and I am much happier. The staff is extremely nice.

The people are very courteous, friendly, respectful and polite. I gave them a two because I'm very concerned about the fact that the doctor told me my filling that they put in my mouth some months ago is now leaking. I've never heard of a filling leaking... Now they have to refill it and it's going to cost me for what I feel wasn't done properly to begin with. Also, every time I go for a checkup they tell me that I need something done to my mouth that costs me more than what my insurance is paying. I understand this is a business and that's how they make their money, by saying there's something wrong so you can pay, but I don't like it.

Wish they had more appointments available for orthodontist other than 1 day out of the week. Plus if I had known they were a partner of the Smile Direct club I would have never gotten the traditional braces. Other than that they are for the most part professional.

It was not a good experience. The problem star in the waiting room, people complaining about the bill and miscommunication. I make an appointment for check up and cleaning and the doctor recommendation was to have a deep cleaning that require antibiotics, I never heard smoothing like that, l don't see necessary. They took more that 20 xray, they don't have updated equipment, I was concern about that.
