Our teams are geared up (literally watch the video) to sanitize equipment, chairs, tables, door handles, countertops etc. many times a day. And we dont stop there. PPE (think masks, gloves, gowns, and face shields) is worn by everyone in the office. Even patients get to take part by keeping masks on at all times except when being treated and doing a good disinfecting rinse before and after care.

Many Americans have limited access to affordable dentists because they have no insurance, but the Smiles for Everyone Foundation is committed to providing free dental care to those in need.
Dr. Mark Duffy returned to Ohio to begin his dental career with Bright Now Dental. This is a big deal as Ohio is ranked 12th in the nation for having a shortage of dentists and specialty dentists. Dayton and Bright Now Dental are fortunate to have Dr. Duffy as he is a dentist who is dedicated to providing affordable quality dental care in an underserved area.

It was my first visit and I waited in the chair for an hour before I even had someone come to "clean" my teeth. It took the X-ray technician 30 minutes to get 7 X-rays complete because she clearly didn't know what she was doing. During the X-rays, I was hit in the face multiple times with the X-ray machine as the text made moving it, and the uncovered portions of the tooth clamps( that everyone uses) touched my mouth multiple times. My "cleaning" consisted of a 2 minute polishing and a 2 minute power drilling into my gums with a water pic that left me bloody and in pain. I've never had issues with my teeth and am always told how healthy my teeth and gums are, however at this visit, I was told that my bloody gums were due to my receding gums and cavities (which I've never had in 26 years of life) and in fact, NOT due to the hygienist impaling my gums with a metal instrument. The hygienist sprayed me multiple times with the water tools and by the time I left, my hair and the entire back of my shirt was wet. I will NEVER be returning here.

My hygienist was Shakeela. I was immediately comfortable with her. This was a deep cleaning but there was no pain and she took the time to explain to me what she was doing. I give her my highest recommendation for this service.

Very friendly front desk staff and dental assistants. Jenifer is always super helpful. Clean office. Dr. Selenou Tema is thoughtful and caring. He has excellent bedside manner. My tooth extraction was a breeze. My first visit mapped out everything that I needed to have done. It's an one stop shop. They do everything. Very affordable and easy to comprehend. I recommend this office. Parking can be challenging at peak times but it's free.

I have actually had really good experiences at this office, with this staff. They have helped me with some complicated insurance matters, some procedures, and have honored my time with appointments. The dentist is great. I am a pretty anxious patient due to some experiences with other dentists in the past (not this office) but this dentist and the staff has continually made me feel comfortable. I really appreciate that.

I got charged for a service and a deductible when my insurance actually covered the service they provided. After arguing with my insurance why I got charge for a service that's cover they called the dentist and they told the insurance they would return the money. They still haven't returned my money to my card nor called me.

This office used to be fine but has recently slid downhill. I made an appointment 6 months in advance and received a confirmation text a week prior, then showed up to find out my appointment had been cancelled. To their credit, they did squeeze me on the calendar but in 2021 (almost 2022) there is no excuse for the scheduling system to not be better. Then I found out they only could only schedule my next cleaning 8a-2p, Monday-Thursday, which is ridiculous for anyone with a job. Now having to find a whole new dentist simply for better hours - absolutely absurd.

The staff at the Alexandria office is super friendly and VERY accommodating. I cant say enough about the front desk staff: The dental staff is outstanding; friendly and very good with explaining procedures and prices. Nothing is a surprise and all costs are laid out BEFORE anything happens. Not to mention, Dr. Alain Selenou Tema is not only gifted at what he does, but incredible nice and very accommodating.

This place will say anything to get you in a chair when they find out you don't have insurance. The woman that works there told me on the phone that they extract wisdom teeth on site. Then when I'm in the chair and they have my $40 I'm told that I need to be referred to somewhere else while I'm being quoted for a cleaning I didn't even ask for. Most of the staff was pretty rude to me for no reason and I ended up wasting an entire day because the receptionist did not know how to communicate on a basic level. I took three days off from work because the horrible receptionist told me they extract teeth and lo and behold, that is not what they do there at all. And the receptionist had all the fun in the world giving me all the attitude when I asked her didn't I tell you I need a wisdom tooth pulled. Instead of trying to give correct expectations, she just gets off on talking down to people that actually need help It's pretty obvious they're not here to serve the community's health needs. They're just here to take advantage.
