Good dentist, good dental assistants, but the billing??? TERRIBLE. I hope you have extra arms and legs because that's what they are going to charge you. They purposefully go against their CONTRACT pricing to charge you more. On top of that, they'll send you a statement afterwards without any explination that is already "past due" to try and scare you to pay more.

I had an appointment at 9AM in the new imperial office in Norwalk. The front office lady was late which is not a problem, but never even looks at me or approaches me in any kind of way. No good morning, no give me a second I'll be right with you no approach at all. I am waiting for a while now so I get up and asked her very polite. Hi do I need to sign in ? Rudely and cutting me off without making eye Contact with me said give me a second, huffed and puffed. Then said have a seat. That's very unprofessional. It's very rude and to top it off the doctor never once said good morning or tried to help, hearing what's going on. I have to say I was very disappointed. The two back office ladies were the nicest and I appreciate that.

I have been coming to this dentist for years, I have had a few issues with them but I think yesterday took the cake. My appointment was at 1, I didn't get into a room till after 2. They took my X-rays and sat me down in a chair for the dentist to look at me. After he was done and told me the work I needed to have done, he then said his staff or himself hadn't had lunch yet... so if I was to get work done I may need to wait till after their lunch. Then the financial manager came in, advised what my cost would be and then said yeah they need to go to lunch so if you want to come back in an hour or re-schedule. I am not sure why they schedule appointments around lunch time, don't dentists and doctors normally have an hour blocked out just for lunch so this doesn't happen? I would just suggest anyone planning to come to get a morning appointment so you don't interfere with their lunch.

With the exception of the person taking my xrays I do not recommend you wasting your time. The dentist showed no bedside manner. Did not introduce herself. Did not tell me anything about my treatment nor the urgency of it. It was horrible! To add more salt to the wound they charged me an additional $10 due to Covid because they had to buy additional things to be compliant and that my insurance did not cover it. Btw if you just want a copy of your xrays emailed to you be prepared to pay a gouging $25 fee on top of lost wages for having to request all of this in person. Yes, according to "Liz" in the dental office all this must be done in person only, but they can email my xrays after I waste my time. Baffled!!!! If other dental offices can send over the release forms etc., why can't they do the same. Maybe the good reviews were only for the Bellflower Office and I ended up at the Norwalk Office. Wish I knew then, what I know now. Beware!

On my appointment, for my check-up I went and I was fine, No problems but when I went there last month they said I had two cavities and informed me I had a small cavity, they never told me that on the first check-up. So the communication to patients is horrible, but the everyone there is nice

I'm reposting my yelp review here so it can be seen by more people! PLEASE DONT COME HERE! THIS OFFICE IS OUT TO SCAM YOU!! Hello, i don't usually do reviews (this is actually my first) but i felt like i needed to say something to help others out! I WAS SCAMMED BY BRIGHT NOW DENTAL IN NORWALK, CA. I went in to get my wisdom teeth taken out on 10/30. Luckily, my insurance covered the extraction of my four wisdom teeth. The day of my surgery the ladies up front surprised me with a bill of $1,452 for BONE GRAFTING... You'd think they'd let me know prior to the appointment date because i had scheduled it a month and a half in advance. I even asked them the day i scheduled it if my insurance were to cover the procedure and they said yes. I even went today to complain and the lady up front said that they didn't tell me until the day of because the surgeon doesn't review the xrays until a little before the surgery... BUT THEN SHE SAID that this surgeon ALWAYS requires bone grafting on all his wisdom teeth removals or he doesn't go through with the procedure... SO IF THAT WAS THE CASE AND THEY KNEW THAT HE ALWAYS DOES IT, WHY WASN'T I INFORMED OF THAT BEFORE?! I feel COMPLETELY TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF. To show up the day of the surgery, that i've been waiting almost 2 months for, to be pressured into either paying for the bone grafting or being denied the procedure (AND the surgeon is only there once a month so its either i do it now or i wait longer for a procedure I've already been waiting a long time for)... I even got a second and third opinion and the dentists who looked at my x-rays said it wasn't necessary in my case and they wished i would've called them prior to going through with the procedure. I am so disappointed that a place that is supposed to help people would try to take advantage of them just because they don't know any better, ESPECIALLY DURING A PANDEMIC WHEN MONEY IS TIGHT. This is ridiculous and i just hope everyone will do their research and not get scammed like i did. If anyone is looking to get their wisdom teeth removed, DO NOT COME HERE. They will charge you for things they say are "necessary" but really ARE NOT. The ladies who work in the front desk will try to make you look stupid. The front desk worker LIZ, is rude and asks me questions just to cut me off and try to say that i am wrong in every way. She keeps telling me "well nothing went wrong with the procedure" and i keep trying to let her know that that isn't the problem. The problem is i was pressured into going through with a procedure that i didn't need THE DAY OF by people at that establishment, because i didn't know any better. She also kept telling me "well you signed and went through with the procedure already" and for me that translates to: "well we fu#cked you over and there's nothing you can do about it :)" Also i've asked multiple times to speak with the business owner/manager, i think her name is Charlotte and for some reason she won't call me... She replied to my yelp review the week i posted it probably as a publicity stunt to try to look good, but it's been two months since my procedure and i haven't heard back from her/nothing has been resolved. DO NOT TRUST THIS OFFICE! TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE!

Hi, I wud like to start by sincerely apologizing to office manager Liz for my negative review towards her and blaming her for me having a bill. I had been reaching out to her to discuss this bill but I hadn't had any return calls from her. Im now aware after speaking with her that she never received my messages. Im also aware now that my insurance company forwarded her the incorrect benefits amount I was due for the calender year 2020. So she actually did her billing correct. Yes, I was frustrated from not being able to speak with her. Everything's been resolved. So now im back for good. Again my apologies to Liz.
