PPE (think masks, gloves, gowns, and face shields) is worn by everyone in the office. Dr. Mark Duffy returned to Ohio to begin his dental career with Bright Now Dental. This is a big deal as Ohio is ranked 12th in the nation for having a shortage of dentists and specialty dentists. Do not use this office. We had an appointment scheduled for 3 weeks and they called TWENTY MINUTES before the appointment while we were already on the road to cancel on us. They offered to reschedule almost a month out. Disorganized and clearly not interested in customer satisfaction.

I'm not a good patient at the dentist. I had a broken molar that needed removal with a root that went into my sinus cavity. It was painless and so fast. Relieved is an understatement. Nice and friendly people working there as well.

I set an appointment for a cleaning. Was given an exam and xrays on the premise that those are required prior to my cleaning. Then I am told I would not be getting a cleaning that day. I said I made my appointment for a maintenance cleaning, and was told all the hygenists were busy, and no opening is available for weeks. However I was welcome to wait the rest of the day to see if there was a cancellation. Felt like a total bait and switch. Two hours of my life I cannot get back after not getting the only thing my appointment was set for. I bet they will happily try to bill me after giving me everything except the only thing I set my appointment for.

I went to this dentist yesterday after making an appointment to get oral surgery done on a referral. They did an exam with X-rays of the particular 2 teeth. I thought it was part of the extraction and root canal that I had made the appointment for. Instead, one of the dentists took a 30 second look at the teeth and X-rays and told me I needed an extraction and a root canal and I would have to come back again to get it done. So I was a bit confused. Next a saleswoman came and told me that while they took my insurance, the company would not pay for extras like I needed. But for the low price of $2250 they would do the root canal and didn't give me a price for the extraction. They offered to finance me for the procedure. I deferred them to a later date and went home to call my insurance provider. Well, not only does my insurance cover the procedures but they said I wasn't even supposed to be charged for the evaluation as they cover that too. Despite the fact that the sign in the window says a full exam for $39, this Medicare mill charged me $78 to look at the 2 teeth only. Luckily, my insurance put me in contact with a reputable doctor and I will be getting the work done next week. You be the judge. Btw, complaint already filed for deceptive practices. 28 minutes after I left this review, bright now left a response as you can see. When I tried to use the email address they provided, it turns out to be invalid. They are obviously not interested in the fact that they don't care about the patients and that they are basically not an honest company. Like I said, you judge for yourself before you go there. As a final follow up, spoke with the office manager who said they would refund my money. 4 months have passed and no refund received. I won't bother calling them back again.

Sara at the front desk is amazing. Not only is she the sweetest thing but so helpful. She has great knowledge of the office and your insurance needs. One time as I sat and waited for my appointment.
