Mark P. Brieden, DDS, MS has over 32 years of orthodontic experience. Mark was a hospital pharmacistturnedorthodontist, weaving his way through Ferris State University, the University of Detroit (DDS) and the University of Minnesota Masters in Orthodontics.
Dr. Brieden has been the chief orthodontist on the Helen DeVos Childrens Hospital cleft palate team for 25 years. He enjoys golf, fishing, kayaking and adventure travel in Alaska and Hawaii with his family. Dr. Brieden along with his partner Dr. Miller were the first to reach 1000+ patients in Invisalign. His skill, knowledge, and expertise has helped him become one of the most trustworthy and exceptional orthodontists in Michigan.
Smiling it seems like an easy thing to do, but not if you are unhappy with the way your teeth look and feel. I never smiled in pictures when I was a kid; I was embarrassed by how my teeth looked. Because Dr. Miller is committed to providing the absolute best for each of his patients, he dedicates much of his time to learning and mastering all the latest trends, techniques, and technologies in the orthodontic field. Learning is a lifelong process for Dr. Miller, and he exceeds the minimum number of continuing education hours each year.

Although he is a native of Greencastle, Indiana, Dr. Miller feels blessed to be a part of such an incredible community here in Grand Rapids, and he strives to give back in whatever way he can. Dr. Miller volunteers on the Cleft Lip and Palate Team at Helen DeVos Childrens Hospital, and he is very thankful for this unique opportunity to helpthe patients who are affected by this condition.
At home, Dr. Miller enjoys spending his time with his wifeNicole, who is a general dentist, and their three children:Chase, Maya, and Emerson. His family also includes a Labradoodle named Maggie. Wonderful friendly staff. The only thing I wish they had done different is show me what the actual aligners would look like with the attachments on them. I had no idea they would have bumbs on them. Other than that they are very kind and easy to work with and make you feel comfortable.

My daughter has been going to Brieden and Miller Orthodontics and she has mild Autism. This office is so kind and they treat my daughter so well with her many sensory motor issues. What a wonderful place for orthodontic care and Invisalign. We drive 2 1/2 hours for our son to have Invisalign care. We can't say enough good things about all the staff! Top notch service and care!
