Dr. David Weedon is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and the Columbia University College of Dental Medicine. At Columbia, he was a Clark Foundation Scholar and received the Mosby Scholarship Award.
Raised in New York City, he moved to New Jersey after dental school to complete the General Practice Residency Program at Hackensack University Hospital. At Hackensack, Dr. Dave received additional training in oral surgery, oral pathology, general dentistry, and pediatric dentistry.
He is a member of the American Dental Association, New Jersey Dental Association, Central Dental Society and the prestigious Seattle Study Club and has been listed as a Top Dentist in New Jersey Monthly and topDentists, LLC.
Dr. Ryan Scally is a graduate of Rutgers Dental School (formerly UMDNJ). While in dental school, he received the New Jersey Academy of Pediatric Dentistry Award. Always knowing that he wanted to work with children, he continued at Rutgers Dental School to receive his specialty certificate in Pediatric Dentistry. During his second year of residency he served as Chief Resident.
After completing his training, he was asked to stay on as a faculty member at Rutgers. As a clinical instructor, he enjoys working with both dental students and pediatric dental residents teaching restorative, sedation, and hospital dentistry. He also guest lectures multiple times a year to General Dentists about various aspects of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Ryan has extensive experience treating special needs patients and patients requiring treatment in a hospital setting. He especially enjoys working with the special needs population and finds providing treatment to this population very rewarding.

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Scally and his staff. I literally drive 100 miles each way to bring my daughter to see them. It's a refreshing experience and she looks so forward to visiting with Dr. Ryan! Thank you guys for being who you are!

I have used several local dentists in my 15 years in the area, and Dr. Weedon and his staff are absolutely the BEST. Not only has Dr. Weedon taken great care of my teeth he uses the latest technologies to make dentistry less inconvenient, like a technique for quickly numbing just the tooth affected and not the entire side of the mouth! The office staff is one in a million!

This dental practice is particularly friendly and very professional. They provided a pain free experience with current equipment and procedures. They provide both pediatric and adult general dentistry. I would highly recommend them to any of my friends and family. When it comes to your teeth, these guys are the best!

Let me start by saying I have never experienced all around great service from any other dental group since I was an adult. A little while ago my son had an accident with a door. His front tooth broke diagonally, right down to the gum and was very sharp. I could not stop the tears from flowing or the fear he expressed of being laughed at. I had to call around to get an appointment because his regular dentist and others said that it was not an emergency and that he had to wait. Did I mention that the way it broke, it was sharp? My son had trouble eating, some pain and was scared; he couldn't wait for an appointment. When I explained the situation to the receptionist at Bridgewater Dental Group, she was very concerned. Although they were closing soon, she was going to speak with Dr. Ryan and call me back. I was elated to hear her say "bring him in!" Although we were an hour away and then hit traffic, Dr. Ryan and his assistant, Carla waited patiently for us. As scared as my son was, Dr. Ryan and Carla showed great empathy. They went above and beyond to make him feel comfortable and even made him feel special by commending him for remaining so still . My son was so calm, I thought he had gone to sleep, but how could he with the jokes they were telling? Let's talk about the results - Dr. Ryan found that his tooth had shattered in his gums, so it was very much an emergency. He was meticulous when removing the fragments and cared enough to explain what he was doing while he was doing it. When Dr. Ryan and Carla were done, I could not tell he had broke his tooth. My sons anxiety disappeared and he was smiling once again. Professional, compassionate and experienced are the words I would use to describe Dr. Ryan and his staff. Words cannot express how grateful I am to have met such caring individuals that know what they are doing. They saw the emergency and immediately went to work. Thank you for doing exceedingly above all I could ask or think.

Dr. Dave Weedon is great. My front cap fell out on a Friday evening leaving an unsightly gap. I called his office which was closed leaving an urgent message. He called me right back and arraged to meet me at 9AM, Saturday, the next morning. I walked out smiling with my cap cemented back in 45 minutes later. Thank you Dr. Dave Weedon!!

My whole family goes to this practice and it is always a great experience. Me and my wife goes to Dr. David. He is meticulous, professional, and very thorough in explaining what's going on. My 6 year old daughter sees Dr. Ryan and he names each tooth after a princess, which is impressive on it's own! Every hygienist is very well trained. I highly recommend this practice.

I took my 5 year old daughter to see Dr. Ryan, as she had to have 2 teeth extracted in addition to a regular check-up. She is a highly anxious child, but he, as well as the dental assistants, were calm, encouraging, patient and made it a fun experience. She left with a big, gappy smile and I am so grateful!

Dr. Ryan is so amazing. Dr. Ryan has such a calm demeanor it really helps with the kids. My son had to get 3 cavities filled and was scared to death, but Dr. Ryan talked him through it. Now he asks to go to see Dr. Ryan. All 3 of kids my loves to go get their teeth cleaned. It's so clean and neat in the office. Such an amazing experience.

Thank you so much to the staff at Bridgewater Dental! I have been receiving dental care here for as long as I can remember. I was surprised to see a new face - a gentleman named Dr. Ryan - who was very energetic and welcoming. It was the first time I had my teeth cleaned by him but he made it very comfortable for me. As a result, he eliminated any sense of nervousness I may have had. The staff here are always pleasant to speak with and truly care about the comfort of their patients. With the state of the world being what it is, I was more than happy to see the measures that they have put in place to ensure the safety of all patients and themselves. I am glad to see that they are taking the necessary precautions to ensure that the office remains a healthy and safe environment.

I personally have been coming here to see Dr. Dave since I was 12 so it was a no brainer to choose Bridgewater Dental for my children's oral care as well. The staff is friendly, professional, and extremely helpful. Their facility is state of the art and extremely well cared for. If there is a need to see someone outside of the group, their vast network of oral surgeons has never disappointed. Dr. Ryan was a wonderful addition to the practice, and we have had nothing, but the best care from him to date. Having top notch dental care can be hard to find, and I'm glad we have Bridgewater Dental to provide that to us!
