Master Clinician With a dedication to providing only the best techniques and services to his patients, Dr. Steven Rasner is in the top one percent of dentists in the country. He has achieved Mastership status at the Academy of General Dentistry, an award given to member dentists who have taken more than 1,100 hours of continuing education and have studied 16 disciplines, such as cosmetic dentistry, periodontics, orthodontics, occlusion, and implants. Only about 1,000 dentists in the entire country and only a handful in the entire state of New Jersey have achieved this difficult Mastership status, meaning they are in the top one percent of their profession. Advanced Expertise After earning his bachelor's in psychology from Rutger's College, Dr. Steven Rasner graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 1980. He received his Mastership from the Academy of General Dentistry in 1997 and completed the written portion for the AGD Board Certification in 1998.
Board certification by the American Board of General Dentistry signifies the pinnacle of achievement in general dentistry and is an individual credential beyond any other in general dentistry. Board certification demonstrates Dr. Rasner's ongoing commitment to excellence, as well as his dedication and perseverance. Only a select handful of general dentists have achieved this status because it recognizes great ability, knowledge, pride, and accomplishment in the complex area of general dentistry.

Valerie's work day consists of performing dental cleanings, x-rays, periodontal care, sealants, fluoride treatments and whitening procedures as well as administering local anesthesia and nitrous oxide. She especially enjoys working on patients who are afraid of the dentist because her goal is to provide them with an extra gentle cleaning so patients will return without any fear. Valerie loves taking care patients and getting to know them. Patients usually compliment her on how gentle she is. Patients also notice that she is always smiling and friendly. Valerie is married and has two children.
Heather began her dental career while in high school as a clerical assistant for an Oral Surgeon. To expand her knowledge in the field, she also worked as an orthodontic assistant while in college. Once licensed, she continued to explore all avenues dentistry has to offer and specialized as a pediatric hygienist in West Chester, PA. With over ten years experience in General Practice, Heather loves what she does for a living and devotes individualize, friendly prevention to all patients under her care. She educates patients to understand how to keep all of their natural teeth for a lifetime, promoting optimal oral and overall health.
Heather fills her time away from the office with numerous hobbies. From the beach to the mountains, she loves the outdoors and all the adventure life has to offer. Her outlook on life is as refreshing as the sunshine. She believes if you have your family and your health - you should be smiling.
