Dr. Bridget Brahney, a Kenner native, graduated with honors earning a degree in Biology from Loyola University New Orleans. During her time as an undergraduate, Dr. Brahney received a fellowship from the American Society of Microbiology and was a contributing author to an article in the American Journal of Tropical Medicine. Recipient of a scholarship, she moved to New York City. Dr. Brahney is a proud graduate of top ranked New York University College of Dentistry receiving a Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 2003.
Dr. Brahney understands the value of continuing education. She attends classes regularly to stay abreast of the most current techniques and concepts in dentistry. Dr. Brahney is a member of the prestigious F. Harold Wirth Study Club.She is also a Faculty Club member in Spear Education, an institute dedicated in the pursuit of clinical excellence in dentistry. A member of several professional organizations, Dr. Brahney has served as a host at ADA and NODA annual meetings. Dr. Brahney has been recognized for excellence over the years and she was chosen as a Patient 's choice winner by Opencare in 2015. Dr. Brahney was selected by a vote of her peers to be included in the database of topDentists, for which she was featured in New Orleans Magazine in June 2016, June 2017, June 2018, June 2019, and 2020. Dr. Brahney was the recipient of the 'Best of the 504' awards for Best Dentist and runner up for Pediatric Dentist in 2016. She was also the recipient of Pint Sized NOLA 'Best Dentist of the 504' in October 2018. She was voted Top Dentist for 2018 and 2019 on Expertise.com and commended in 2018 on Vitals.com.
Giving back is very important to Dr. Brahney. She has been on the executive board for Lindy's Place, a residence for homeless women, in addition to supporting various other charitable organizations. A staunch supporter of the arts, she has served on the board of the Jefferson Ballet Theatre.
When she goes home, Dr. Brahney delights in being a wife and mother and spends an inordinate amount of time cooking for friends and family. Dr. Brahney resides in Kenner with her husband and young daughter.

Melissa was born and raised in Marrero area. She started her career as a dental assistant in 2009. She loves the dental field so much, she is always looking to further her education in it. Melissa has been Dr. Brahneys main assistant since August of 2016. When she isnt here taking care of our wonderful patient, she is at home with her husband and three boys.
Jackie is a graduate of Loyola University, having attained a Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene. Over the past 26 years, Jackie has always been committed to providing the highest quality of care to all of her patients, making them feel at ease and comfortable. Jackie is happily engaged and loves spending time with her husband, Darryl, her family, and especially her 3 year old grandson who is the light of her life!
Jessica was born and raised in St. Bernard Parish. She is new to the dental field, but eager to learn and grow within the dentistry world. She studied accounting at the University of New Orleans. When she is off, she enjoys spending her days with her husband and two young boys.

I love Dr. Brahney! I've been going to her about 8 years now and she has always been the friendliest, gentlest, and most thorough dentist I have ever encountered. I highly recommend this professional, awesome lady for whatever you need done! :)

I have been seeing Dr. Brahney exclusively since 2006. You could say we have a "long-term relationship." She and her staff are top-notch. The office is always very clean. They explain everything very clearly, let me know how much things will cost upfront, set up my next cleaning automatically, and will write up an "excuse" note for me missing work. They even laugh at my bad jokes. I could not recommend a better place to get your dental work done!
