My name is Nasim Aleagha, and I am a board-certified pediatric dentist. I was born and raised in central New Jersey by parents from Montana. Growing up, my life was filled with extracurricular activities, including girl scouts, orchestra (I play the violin!), soccer, student government, and local volunteering, all while managing a demanding academic curriculum.
After high school, I completed my undergraduate education at Rutgers University, The State University of New Jersey, in 2002, receiving a bachelors degree in Genetics/Microbiology. While contemplating a career path, I worked in a general dentist office where I had the opportunity to experience all aspects of working in a dental practice from the ground up. From this experience, I knew dentistry was my field of interest, but it wasnt until my third year at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine in the City of New York that I realized my passion for treating children and graduated in 2007 with honors in pediatric dentistry.
I continued my training at the renowned residency program at The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, where I received a specialty certificate in pediatric dentistry in 2009. Then, I moved to the Dallas area and treated children in a rural area for five years while perfecting my skills as a pediatric dentist. In recent years, I have expanded my scope of practice to help identify and treat obstructions to nasal breathing and the causes of crooked and crowded teeth. This is a significant problem throughout our society and one that is near and dear to my heart. My brother, who is a physician in Dallas, suffered with sleep apnea since infancy, and in seeking treatment for him, our family was erroneously assured that he would grow out of it. I am dedicated to helping children and their families identify and understand the causes of poor craniofacial respiratory complex growth and assist in seeking treatment.
After yearning to be closer to my parents, who retired back to Bozeman in 2012, I finally made the move to Montana in 2015! I joined an office in Missoula, where I practiced for a year and then worked for the next year at Gallatin Valley Pediatric Dentistry before starting my own practice in beautiful Bozeman! I am thrilled to provide my services for the children and families of the Gallatin Valley and beyond, and feel a deep responsibility to do so as a member of the community that I so whole-heartedly believe in! I look forward to meeting you and helping to create lifelong smiles!
I am an active Board-Certified member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, Montana Dental Association, North American Association of Facial Orthotropics, American Academy of Physiological Medicine and Dentistry, Academy of Airway and Gnathologic Orthopedics.
I moved to Bozeman in 2013 from Washington with my husband and three kids. We have quite the fur family including, 2 cats, 2 dogs, and a huge goldfish. We enjoy camping, riding, and the beautiful outdoors during the summer season. I have worked in Pediatric Dentistry for the past 6 years, and before that, I worked at a Veterinarian office. I love kids so much because they have such a zest for life! I enjoy all personalities of our patients and love seeing them when they walk in the door. I have extensive knowledge of insurance and am happy to help with any billing questions or issues you might be having.
