Uncaring and unprofessional. After a long journey due to insurance delays involving a very painful, infected Wisdom tooth with large abscess and involving two courses of antibiotics, I finally had my appointment with Bridgeport. But after initially being informed by them over the phone ahead of time that I'd be covered, after making the 45 drive to their office the first thing they did was inform me that I would need to pay on the spot for an expensive x-ray. But as I'm currently unemployed, I didn't have the money and they wouldn't accept a later payment. If this place had any kind of heart, they wouldn't have stopped the process of an emergency tooth extraction over the small cost of the x-ray (the rest was 100% covered). Anyway, I petitioned my insurance company to cover it and they agreed to pay. But by then Bridgeport had forgotten all about me and told me the soonest appointment they had was another 2 weeks out! And that was just for the initial consultation part. The actual extraction would be another untold wait, meanwhile I have this painful abscess... I also asked the office if they could personally ask Dr. Wood for an exception, but they refused.

The office charged me, but my insurance later covered the consultation. I contacted Tiiffany for a refund, who agreed, but nothing happened for another month. This was 7 months after the visit. A poor review inspired her to call and we discussed again, this time leading to an immediate refund. So it took some doing but it worked out. Also, they had just opened the clinic in Warrenton at the time, even said they stayed up most of the night to get ready, so maybe were out of sorts leading to the clerical error. The quality of care I couldn't say since I did not receive any actual dental care.

Too busy and under staffed to even greet or check in a new patient. Nobody was at the desk. Had to call three times while standing in the lobby to get someone to talk with for a scheduled appointment. I showed up 10 minutes early, waited patiently for 15 minutes past my appointment to be told we are too busy and are understaff and you will have to wait longer, the last surgery went long. I get it, but I think it is rude and unacceptable business behavior. A little communication would be helpful, a smiling face to let you know things are running long would go a long way, people are understanding, even a note at the front desk would have been thoughtful. I left feeling I was troubling them because they more important things to deal with. Even though I had an appointment. Probably a good thing I left. Nobody wants to hear that a surgical office is understaffed. If you can't greet people for scheduled appointments, where else are you understaffed? Sad and scary. Look elsewhere for quality service from a front office.

Unprofessional work. My mother was improperly charged without the legal rights she is entitled to. Reception refused to be reasonable with the state representative when questioned about this charge. We've been financially struggling so this was a huge hit. Fore shame on this clinic.

As a healthcare provider, I understand the importance of being informed and ensuring the care process is ethical and transparent, and I received all this with Dr. Wood. He went above and beyond, sharing the latest research and the pros and cons of alternative procedures in our consultation without making us feel rushed. The process went off without any complications! Like all businesses, Covid curtailed normal functions. The front desk is lightly staffed; however, all insurance papers were processed and executed without delay. In addition, the surgical team is highly skilled, efficient, and fully staffed. We will be back!

They saw me on an emergency appointment and I could not be happier. Dr.Wood and his staff are great. Not that you ever want to see an oral surgeon but if you need to. They are the place to go. Highly recommended.

When I consulted Dr. Wood in my late teens to have my severely impacted wisdom teeth removed, I was worried about lasting impact to the nerves in my jaw--one tooth's root was touching a major one. Dr. Wood assured me that I would be fine; he had extracted countless teeth like mine despite it being fairly uncommon. He was right, and after a brief time under general anesthesia (another thing I was worried about, I'm quite light for my height) I was awake, wisdom-tooth free and had the at-risk nerve fully intact. Throughout the initial months of recovery, I visited his office a couple times for brief checkups, both of which were entirely free and didn't require appointments. A year later, I'm entirely healed and couldn't be happier that I went to Dr. Wood--I'd recommend him to anyone.

I am very impressed. I'm 70 and this is the second molar I've had to have pulled. Maybe the first one was complicated by failed root canal. They gave me a "work in" appointment the next day from my referral. The doctor and the staff were quick and efficient and friendly. I had minimal discomfort afterward, which is major contrast to first extraction I had from a different clinic.. A big THANK YOU!!!!

Dr. Wood removed my wisdom teeth with an expertise beyond my, or my friends' and family's expectations. Very little swelling and pain during recovery.
