We welcome dental cowards and focus on providing them with lots of TLC. We are proud to welcome a number of third generation patients as some of our long-time patients -- who came to us as children -- now trust us to take care of their children. We believe this says a lot about how we care for our patients and how they care about us.
Our dental practice is different from most in that we focus on treating our patients like family. Our unique approach to patient care has nurtured three generations of loyal patients, many of whom have become dear friends. We believe in going the extra mile for each and every one of our patients -- treating each of them as though we were treating a member of our own family.
New patients and same day emergencies are welcome. We look forward to making your dental experience as comfortable as possible including filling out and submitting insurance forms on your behalf. Additionally, we offer payment plans and interest free financing to offer you additional flexibility.
After graduating from Columbia School of Dental and Oral Surgery, Phi Beta Kappa, Dr. Olivia Masry completed a General Practice Residency at Jacobi/Albert Einstein College of Medicine. She was then invited to stay on staff as an attending to instruct the incoming residents and provide dental care to children with disabilities at the adjoining Rose Kennedy Center. Dr. Masry opened her private practice two years later.
Dr. Masry is just as passionate about providing dental care now as she was then. Her desire to share her dental skills with populations in need of dental care led her to direct seven dental missions in Hopewell Parish, Jamaica, Cambodia and Nepal.
Dr. Masry is a member of the Ninth District Hospital Dentistry Committee as well as the New York State Dental Society and the American Dental Association. Additionally, Dr. Masry is a recipient of theADA Certificate of International Volunteer Service.
Dr. Masry is the proud parent of four adult children, Jonathan, Lindsay and twins Evan and Russell. Her favorite activities revolve around family time shared with her children and eight grandchildren -- as well as trying to perfect her tennis game.
Dr. Joyce Lockwood grew up in Ossining and graduated from Ossining High School. It was during this time that she met her partner and mentor Dr. Masry. At age 11, Dr. Lockwood babysat for Dr. Masry's children on Saturdays and after school. Dr. Masry recognized her potential and invited her to be a dental assistant while in high school. It was during these years that Dr. Lockwood developed her passion for dentistry. She always had an affinity for art and medicine.
Using her skills, Dr. Lockwood graduated from Columbia School of Dental Medicine with numerous awards and honors. Wanting to share her expertise with her local community and help those who have served our country, Dr. Lockwood did her residency at the FDR Veterans Hospital in Montrose. 'It was an incredibly rewarding experience to provide compassionate dental treatment to our veterans.'
Wanting to stay in the area, Dr. Lockwood began to raise her family of two boys, two cats and a dog. She joined Dr. Masry's practice as an associate and later became her partner. She is an active member of the Ninth District Dental Society, the New York State Dental Society and the American Dental Association. Her spare time is spent with her family and playing golf.

I can't thank Dr. Masry enough for making time in her busy schedule to see me for an emergency, even though I had not seen her for years because I moved more than an hour's drive away. When the x-rays her experienced technician took were not to her high standards for what she needed to see, Dr. Masry took the time to take three more x-rays herself to make sure those x-rays were perfect, addressed all my issues and questions. Then when I admitted I was unsure about finding a specialist who could pull the tooth in question near my home, she had her receptionist schedule an appointment down the road from her office Dr. Munarov, who also took such good care of me--who had already received the x-rays she had taken and immediately removed the tooth that needed to come out. I have started practicing the new flossing method Dr, Masry took the time to teach me and ordered the flossing tape and rubber tip toothbrush from Amazon she advised me to use as my that my (genetically) poor teeth required.. What could have become a nightmare of additions to my "to do" list was treated competently and so seamlessly. Update: I experienced no swelling, no pain, after the extraction, and the area seems to be healing nicely.

I love Dr. Lockwood! She has taken the fear of going to the dentist out of me. She's super gentle, patient, kind and caring. I travel an hour to see her and would travel further if I had to.

Joyce Lockwood DDS is one of the best dentists in the area. She has little hands very gentle, professional, and personable. Rarely when you go to a dentist do you always have a chuckle and she always seems to get it done. She is extremely attentive to children, always making them feel comfortable and stress free and my 3 kids have had plenty of work done. I would highly highly recommend her professional services to anyone that needs anything done to their teeth. She makes going to the dentist actually a pleasant experience, and on top of it all, she is as nice as can possibly be.
