in Maryville, Missouri, andreceived his undergraduate degree from Northwest Missouri State University in 1998. While there,he had the opportunity to be a captain on the 1998 Division ll National Championship football team. He enjoys spending time with his family, being outdoors, following sports, and playing golf.
Dr. Amy was born and raised in Des Moines, IA. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Iowa where she earned a B.S. in Integrative Physiology. Dr. Amy spent two years after graduation working in two different labs before returning to Iowa City to begin her professional studies. She graduated from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry with her D.D.S.
Dr. Amy became interested in dentistry during a health careers internship her senior year in high school. In the program she had the opportunity to shadow health care professionals in several different fields for a few hours each day. After picking the dental office on a whim for her last rotation it took less than two days for her to fall in love with the profession. The opportunity to really get to know your patients and establish lasting relationships is what set dentistry apart from the other health care professions she had shadowed. Dr. Amy thoroughly enjoys many aspects of dentistry but particularly loves working with children and doing restorative procedures like fillings and crowns.
She recently got married and is new to the Kansas City area. Outside of the office she enjoys spending time with her husband, Scott and newly adopted dog, Montgomery. Together they love exploring their new city, being outdoors, golfing, spending time with friends, taking trips to the lake and, of course, cheering on the Iowa Hawkeyes!
Dr. Ketchem attendedNebraska-Wesleyan Universityin Lincoln, Nebraska where she received her undergraduate degree in Biology and played for the university tennis team. She then graduated from theUniversity of Nebraska College of Dentistry. Dr. Ketchem enjoys building personal relationships with patients, and her mission is to provide quality dental care with honesty and compassion.

My family and I have been going to Dr.Sutton's for years and they always make us feel comfortable. I highly recommend them!! Shout out to Ashton for a wonderful teeth cleaning and Joni for always answering my questions as for Dr. Sutton thank you for always making me smile.

I moved to Colorado but will continue to receive my dental care with Dr. Sutton and his top notch team as long as they take me!! They are consistently professional, thorough, approachable, and compassionate with their care and communication. Both of their plaza and Overland Park locations are modern, comfortable, and immaculate!

I have been to 4 doctors for a front tooth filing and Dr Sutton was the only one who did the work and it stayed in place! He is smart and has a wonderful bed side manor! Kelli was my hygienist and she was gentle and thorough!!! The whole staff is kind and helpful...making the dental experience easy and smooth...

Dr. Sutton and his team are awesome. I've been a patient for 13 years ever since Dr. Sutton started his practice. I couldn't recommend him and his staff more. Dr.Sutton and his staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. Dr. Sutton was very thorough, thoughtful , and detail oriented. Communication was excellent, He made sure that both me and my 14 year old understood his recommendations and immediately set forth a treatment plan. I completely trust Dr.Sutton and look forward to my whole family using his practice. I left the office wishing we had started using Dr. Sutton long ago!

Everyone on staff makes you feel welcome and comfortable! Everything is transparent, from payment breakdowns to cleanings, and always explained to you before and during processes, and my nerves about shots or procedures faded away when in the hands of Claire and Dr. Ketchem. I love having them as my new primary dentist's office, and I recommend them to anyone needing one!

Dr. Brian Sutton and staff are top notch in service and experience!! The new location at 95th & Nall is comfortable and clean with up-to-date technology and equipment! This place is wonderful. From the front desk staff to the hygienists to Dr. Sutton--they are all kind, professional, and most importantly, they know what they are doing. As a former hygienist myself, I know the difference. It's also nice that they have 7am appointments so kids can go and not miss school. If you are looking for a place you can take your entire family, this is it!
