Dr. Brian Kerr was raised in Tacoma, graduating from Woodrow Wilson High School. He completed his undergraduate studies at Washington State University, before moving to Portland for his dental education. He earned his dental degree at OHSUand has been practicing in Tacoma ever since.

Dr. Christopher VanDerhoef is a northwest native and returned home to practice dentistry after obtaining his degree from the University of Southern California Ostrow School of Dentistry. For his undergraduate studies, he completed his degree in Biological Sciences at Marquette University. Dr. VanDerhoef takes great pride in his work and is committed to quality dental care in a comfortable environment. He especially enjoys treating each patient as an individual and working with them as active participants in achieving their healthy and vibrant smiles. He continues to commit himself to a lifetime of learning as he seeks out and enjoys many hours of continuing dental education. He is an active member of local study clubs. Dr. VanDerhoef is routinely recognized by his peers as a Top Dentist.
Dr. VanDerhoef has obtained his Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry. This award is given to a small number of dentists who exhibit their commitment to continuing education and learning. This required hundreds of hours of continuing education followed by the fellowship exam.
Dr. Whitney Berens, D.M.D., grew up in a military family and she considers Kitsap County home. After graduating from Central Kitsap High Schoolin 1996, Dr. Berens attended Ripon Collegein Ripon, Wisconsin. After college, Dr. Berens attended Tufts University School of Dental Medicinein Boston, Massachusetts where she was recognized for her exceptional academic performance with an Award for High Clinical Achievement and the A. Albert Yurkstas Award.
During dental school, Dr. Berens commissioned as an active-duty officer in the United States Air Force. Dr. Berens exceptional academic performance during dental school earned her the highly competitive United States Air Force Health Professions Scholarship and the opportunity to complete an Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency.
She successfully completed the residency at the United States Air Force Academyin Colorado Springs, Colorado in 2005 before reporting to her next duty station at Grand Forks Air Force Basein Grand Forks, North Dakota. Dr. Berens separated from active duty in 2007 while her husband, Mike, was deployed.
Dr. Berens worked part-time in private practice in North Dakota and in Alabama as a result of her husbands continued military service before she and her family returned to Washington in 2011. Dr. Berens and her husband have three children that keep them very busy with a host of extracurricular activities. As a family, they most enjoy skiing at Crystal Mountain, camping at Washington State Parks and spending time on the seashore.

Erica is the best hygienist I've had. She is so sweet and kind and is extremely gentle. Our whole family goes to her and loves her as well. Dr. White is very gentle and kind, we all think we would never go anywhere else for our dental work.

very customer oriented, facility is full mask and clean, staff is very attentive. always a treat to visit their facility. unfortunately, the office can't communicate with its disabled customers at the front door, which is cumbersome at best. how about installing a buzzer for the front door??

Terrible environment. All the techs are ableist and derisive, all the dentists obnoxiously brag about their crypto scams, trying to lure in patients, and the facility proudly displays iconography everywhere indicating their continuing partnership with our local police and firefighters, both of which are thoroughly abusive, racist, and queerphobic. I never feel safe in this establishment and only go because they take my insurance and are close by.
