The mission of dentistry is to help people become healthier. What I am most passionate about is helping people make choices for themselves to be free of dental disease, to feel better, and to look better. Every person is a unique individual and wants to be treated as such, so we must try to understand them, their beliefs, and their values so we can truly serve them. It is a gift that they put their trust in us, and we must do everything in our power to hold and maintain that trust.
I enjoy working directly with people and helping anyone when needed. I am passionate about helping our patients achieve better overall health through dentistry. Dr. Dennis is easy-going, compassionate, and works well with patients. It is hard to find a dentist who is empathetic and yet still always moving forward through the latest technology. I have three beautiful children and we love spending time together, camping, hiking and watching movies.
I started working in the dental field in 2001 as a dental assistant. I went to dental hygiene school in 2014 and progressively found my place as an Office Administrator/Office Manager, where Im able to fully utilize all the skills Ive obtained throughout my career in dentistry.You can come to me with any questions regarding claims, billing accounting balances, etc. If I cant help you, I can direct you to a team member who can.
Dr. Dennis sincerely cares about people in general, not only his patients. His kind heart, humbleness and intelligence are just a few of his traits that make him a great dentist, employer a and friend.
I am a mother of 3 boys, ages 22, 15 and 12. Outside of work I like spending time with family, riding my bike and traveling from state to state with my boyfriend in his Semi on my days off. All of these combing have provided me with the most happy, healthy, loving life that I could ever ask for.
I started working in the dental field in 2015, and came to work with Dr. Dennis in 2020. My favorite part of my job is interacting with my patients and forming special connections over the years! Dr. Dennis is wonderful with the patients, and so educational with his staff. I learn something new every day here.I was born and raised in New Mexico, and just moved back after living in the south for 5 years. My 5-year-old daughter is my pride and joy. And outside of work, I love spending time with family, camping and traveling.
A certified therapy support dog, Aspen, our 3 year old labrador retriever, is always ready to greet our patients with a hug and a kiss. Patients always look forward to visiting our office so that they can play with her. Aspen works hard to keep patients relaxed during treatment and she knows when to celebrate the end of treatment with a game of fetch!
Dr. Dennis was born in Columbus, OH. His father was an Air Force pilot, so he lived in a lot of different places including Boston, MA, Orlando and Fort Walton Beach, FL, and Okinawa, Japan. He attended Highland High School in Albuquerque but graduated from high school in Madison, WI. He moved back to Albuquerque after dental school and has loved life here for over 30 years.
Dr. Dennis has been married to Kim Dennis for over 39 years. She is from Middleton, WI and was a fifth grade teacher in Albuquerque Public Schools. She now helps out in Dr. Dennis office. They have one son, Brad, who earned a degree in Psychology and Sociology. Dr. Dennis and Kim share a love for animals and have had all kinds of pets, including dogs and cats. They recently added a new family member to their life: Aspen, a chocolate lab, a certified therapy dog. You can meet Aspen in Dr. Dennis office where she welcomes patients and offers lots of hugs and kisses!
Giving back to the community creates a positive impact on the community and improves and enriches everyones lives. There are several programs about which Dr. Dennis is passionate, including the Give Back a Smile Program, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistrys charitable foundation whose mission is to assist in rebuilding the lives and dignity of survivors of domestic violence through compassionate cosmetic dental services and support programs. It provides restorative and cosmetic dentistry at no cost to qualified survivors of domestic violence. Dr. Dennis has also served on the Board of Trustees for Give Back a Smile and has been privileged to provide dental services for several survivors under the program here in Albuquerque.
Dr. Dennis also supports the Open Wide Foundation which is dedicated to making a significant, measurable, and lasting change in the state of oral health in impoverished communities worldwide. Dr. Dennis practice has also been involved with the American Dental Associations Give Kids a Smile and Mission of Mercy dental programs. He has been on the Board of Directors for Albuquerques Healthcare for the Homeless and has provided dental services through their clinic as well. Dr. Dennis was also a founding member for the Albuquerque Chapter of the Active 20-30, a national service organization dedicated to improving the lives of children in our community.

The staff are super friendly and they make you feel so relaxed. Very professional. I do have to say, the one I like the most is Aspen. Aspen always greats me with a smile, which makes me smile too.

Update: Dr. Dennis and staff have done it again. He nailed a tricky restoration procedure - coordinated with my oral surgeon across the country! Even when the other doctor's office did not send all of the required parts he was able to improvise a solution to keep me smiling. Even though it was a lot of extra work for his staff, he made it work. I just cannot say enough good things about this practice. I am so thrilled to have found Dr. Dennis' office. His knowledge and caring manner has trickled down to every single person in the office. Having a connective tissue disorder affecting my teeth, I was worried about finding a good dentist in ABQ having just come from outside Washington DC where there are so many great choices. But I'm so relieved - Dr. Dennis keeps knocking it out of the park! The hygienist, JJ, did the most thorough teeth cleaning and exam I have had from any dentist in recent memory. She was gentle, conscientious to every detail and reassuring about sensitivities. I feel like I struck gold here and although I did not get an actual whitening treatment I have gotten remarks on how white my teeth look after the cleaning! Thank you all so much, I feel like I'm in great hands here. And bonus - to those who might be anxious about dental procedures, Aspen is an awesome therapy dog :)

I called in the morning and got an afternoon appointment. I needed 3 fillings. There were NO shots, No drilling and NO pain. I left the office within 40 minutes. Unbelievable professional procedures and courteous service. Thank you Dr. Dennis and to all of the office assistance.

Dr. Dennis is a highly experienced, practical, super friendly dentist with the sweetest office dog (Aspen) roaming the hall to greet you and keep it happy. I looked for months trying to find a great dentist that practices excellent dentistry, that has been in the profession for a long time and sticks to what truly works (vs. trying to sell you the latest and greatest shiny object in the dental industry), and will answer all your questions and work with you to find the right treatment plan. His staff are all fantastic, too. Every dental hygienist has done an excellent job on my cleaning, the staff are all happy and professional, and they keep the cozy and inviting waiting room (like a little living room) stocked with treats and beverages. It's a very positive experience there - every time.

I was in the middle of a dental emergency and in a lot of pain. On a scale of 1-10, my pain was 20. All the other "emergency" dentist appointment takers were not empathetic nor were they interested in working me in. Aren't they all advertising as emergency dental care? Only Dr Dennis and staff demonstrated what that means. One office I called offered an appointment three days from now. I'm not sure if the lady I spoke with even understood what is an emergency. No empathy or even acting like it or acting like it should be handled with any hurry. I was in so much pain I couldn't have waited 3 hours much less 3 days. Until I called Dr Brian Dennis office I thought the the world had gone heartless. When I called Dr Dennis office, it was a completely amazing experience from the first hello to the last goodbye. Vicky answered the phone, told me to come in as soon as I could make it, and they'd work it out and take care of me. Dr Dennis was friendly, knowledgeable, and explained all my options and made me part of the team on my care. We picked the best option for my situation and 1 hour and 45 minutes later I was finishing up my paperwork to go home no longer in pain and my dental issue was cured . As someone who is extremely dentist (and all dental procedures) phobic, Dr Dennis is the first dentist that I trusted within minutes of my visit. Marissa, the dental tech, was very nice, compassionate, and professional. Everyone in this office was friendly and practiced good hygiene. The office was clean, organized, and comfortable. I am so glad I kept calling and got an appointment with Dr Dennis. I will be forever grateful for the care and treatment I received. He is the first dental office and dentist I have gone to in a long time that has given great treatment and inspired confidence. Thank you to everyone at the office and Dr Dennis for my excellent care!

Dr. Dennis is a walking encyclopedia of dental medicine yet he continues to learn, attending classes every month as well as lecturing at colleges all over the country. His passion for his craft is inspiring as well as his loyalty to his customers. He will not give up on you as long as you don't give up on yourself. My bite was off and he kept tuning it until my jaw pain was completely gone. Vicky, Kim, Sharon and the rest of his staff make you feel like you're among friends...friends with shockingly beautiful smiles. You won't feel intimated because everyone is so down to earth despite providing world class care and having technology that takes 9k data points mapping the pressure of your bite. But if you feel anxious you can always go hug Aspen, Dr. Dennis and his wife Kim's affectionate loving chocolate lab who walks around the office looking for pats. Aspen also has beautiful teeth by the way. Albuquerque is lucky Dr. Dennis makes his home here.
