Dr. Hicks believes in a relationship based practice where dental careis provided to each patient based on their own individual needs and desires. The process of co-discovery encourages each patient's active participation in theirown care.
Dr. Hicks has a commitment to excellence and has studied at some of the finest post-graduate institutions in dentistry, including the L.D. Pankey Institute, the Scottsdale Institute for Dentistry and Dr. Frank Spear, and the Piper Education and Research Center. He is an active member and founder of several dental study clubs.

I have been involved in the profession of dentistry for 25 years. Nineteen of those years have been spent here at our Buffalo Grove office and I can't imagine working anywhere else. You will find me at the front desk enthusiastically waiting to greet you upon your arrival to our practice. I am also typically the voice you hear on the other end of the phone.
When I am not at work you can find me tilling the soil in my garden, playing with my beautiful Yellow Labradors, Luke & Bella, cooking up something tasty in the kitchen, or spending time with my husband Matt.
Im here to help you! Ill always be ready to show you around, make you comfortable, and answer questions. As one of our assistants, I enjoy providing our patients with X-rays and Intra-Oral Photographs. Im also fond of spending time in our laboratory creating models and cases. I have been at our office for 4 years. I came to our office after 2 previous years in the medical field, including getting my certification as a nurses assistant.
When Im not having a laugh with our team and patients, Im with my wonderful husband of 2 years, Ryan, and our 2 adorable cats, Leroy and Kiwi. I am involved in voluntary bible education work, Skywarn weather spotting, and video production. In my relaxation time I fancy drawing, baking, and a good sci-fi book or film. I look forward to seeing you at your next visit to our office!

OUTSTANDING dentist. I saw Dr. Hicks and his team my whole childhood through college. I only stopped seeing them because I moved. Their office is beautiful and incredibly clean. The team is so kind, patient, gentle, accomodating, and knowlegable and makes every experience so wonderful and stress free. I've seen them through braces, for everything from teeth cleanings to extractions and fillings. Each time their work is top notch. They take their time with all of their work and do not cut corners. Each member of the staff takes the time to get to know you and answer any questions or address any concerns that you have. Since I've left, I have gotten so many compliments on my teeth - not just from my friends and family but from other dentists. Other dentists have commented on how beautiful my teeth are and how well fillings are done. I owe them so much and cannot recommend this team enough. I wish I could see them for the rest of my life!

Hands down, the best dental office in my lifetime! Several members of my family had been seeing Dr. Hicks and the team for years. I had been in need of dental work and was not completely satisfied with who I had seen previously. While my process is ongoing, everyone has been fabulous! In every aspect from quality of care, attention to detail, accommodating with scheduling (even in urgent situations), top notch oral surgeon referrals, transparent and thorough explanations; it's simply genuine and obvious that they are here for you because they care. I highly recommend Dr. Hicks and his team. Once you visit them, you will understand why this review is so well deserved!

The best experience you could imagine at a dentist. I love coming here, the whole experience is perfect! Trisha at the front is such a bright star, so friendly as soon as you enter. Both hygienists are perfect in their own ways. Dr Hicks has great energy and is such an honest, Caring person!

I have been going to Dr. Hicks for many years. My teeth were pretty messed up and he helped me save them. His facility is state of the art (360 degree scans and Crowns made on site and done in one visit). The facility is highly sanitary and clean. All safety measures have been taken for Covid-19. The staff (Trish, Margaret, Kaitlyn, and Alex) are kind, professional and go all out to make you feel comfortable. The best quality of this practice is that they stand behind their work. I had a crown partially chip on me and needed to be replaced it was 7 years old and he replaced it at no cost to me he only collected what my insurance paid saving me a lot of money. He said that he expected his Crowns to last 10 to 12 years or more. This is a great Dental Practice. Highly recommend A+++++
