Originally from Dallas, Texas, Dr. Gurinsky attended the University of Texas at Austin and then received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas. Upon graduation, he went straight into a three-year residency focusing on Periodontics and Dental Implants. He achieved his certificate and mastersin Periodontics, from The University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. He currently maintains a full time private practice in the Denver and Centennial areas.
Dr. Gurinsky continues to be inspired by the ever-changing technology within dentistry. He is a published researcher and his findings can be found in numerous papers and presentations. Some of his past research has included looking at dental implants in smokers (sponsored by Astra Tech) and enamel matrix derivative in grafting periodontal defects. He is currently researching using the human umbilical cord and amniotic tissue for hard and soft tissue grating. Dr. Gurinsky is also on the editorial advisory board for two dental journals, along with being a product evaluator. He lectures throughout the United States and Canada and teaches courses on bone grafting and soft tissue grafting.
Dr. Gurinsky has been named a 5280 Top Dentist every year since 2011. He is currently serving on the Metropolitan Denver Dental Society executive board as President along with being a consultant for the Colorado State Board of Dental Examiners. In the past, he was the President of the Rocky Mountain Society of Periodontists.
A couple years back was referred to Dr Gurinsky for an implant, and though it a bit longer then usual, I am glad with the results. Im getting a second implant and it is nice to have an installment plan for payments. I would recommend him highly. Glenn

Dr. Gurinsky is very atentative, thorough and answered all my questions. I did not feel rushed at all as I have and other doctor settings . His staff is wonderful and extremely accommodating. I highly recommend game for any of your periodontal needs

Dr. Gurnisky is fabulous! I'm normally a very anxious patient. The entire process from consultation to making appointments, oral surgery and follow up was a breeze. Dr. G and his assistant, Stacy, were professional, caring, sensitive to my concerns and 100 % supportive through the entire process. If you need periodontic care - I would go NO WHERE ELSE!!

My visit was amazing today! I have been visiting Dr.Gurinsky's office for over 16 years now. During each visit, I am very pleased because the visits are very pain-free and comfortable regardless of the procedure such as dentures, cleanings and implants. In addition, his demeanor is both nice and professional because when I have any questions, he responds patiently, attentively and very clearly. I am pleased that he is my dentist. He is the best and I highly recommend him to everyone.

My son just had his four wisdom teeth extracted under anesthesia yesterday by Dr. Gurinsky. Stacy was wonderful with scheduling, explaining benefits, and coordinating the anesthesia. Dr. Gurinsky is skilled and thorough with his procedures. We left feeling informed and appreciate the office for their professionalism and care. Amazing. Dr. Gurinsky is very calm, genuinely cares and alleviates any fears. He genuinely wants to help and doesnt want you to get any work you dont actually need. I was super anxious and he calmed me down and made sure i left with as much information as possible. I cant recommend him enough. 10/10.

I was originally referred to Dr Gurinmsky by my regular dentist. Although I had been through some very trying dentists before, I was made very comfortable immediately by Dr Gurinsky and his staff. I went through an extensive procedure that was divided in half to make it easier on me. I had never gone through such an intense surgical periodontic procedures but everyone involved were all very reassuring, compassionate and patient. I don't have the apprehensive feelings with visits to Dr Gurinsky's office like I have always had before with any dentist related visit. Their professional, efficient and considerate appointments with me have spurred me to recommend them to everyone I know. His office is definitely the best I've known so far.

Dr. Gurinsky and his staff were very empathetic to my wife and myself. He sat down and discussed with us every procedure and fee associated with that fee. Stacey gave us a detailed explanation of all costs and the procedure codes associated with the treatment plan. Dr. Gurinsky was entirely painless through my hour long procedure and was constantly checking to make sure I was completely comfortable!

Dr. Gurinsky and his staff have been caring for my teeth, and more importantly my gums, for several decades. I am 69, when teeth loss can be a problem, and I have all my teeth. I recently had to see a specialty dentist for a non-teeth-and-gum related problem. His assistant and the dentist both complimented me on the great condition of my teeth. If you need a great periodontist, Dr. G should be your choice.
