I debated if if should write this post. However, I feel people need to know this information. I have been a resident in this area and I am well connected. I scheduled a new appointment for my oldest son and he missed it. Mr. Nilges proceeded to try to call me during my work hours to have a talk with me. I personally have not missed any of my appointments. We all know kids. They can be irresponsible at a times. But to drop me as a patient for this??? When he called me last, it came up as potential spam. I dropped the call for that reason. He then proceeded to text me an attacking text! This was completely unprofessional! Never in my life have I had a doctor, dentist, or any other professional conduct themselves in such a manner. The text was a complete joke. Your response was that it was not the whole story. Then tell the public your side.... Did you not send a very unprofessional text message to a patient?

I went to Dr. Nilges for an emergency issue and ended up finding my family's dentist. He has done a fantastic job on my root canal and crown as well as took care of several cavities. His dedication to his patients and their needs goes above and beyond any other dental provider I've had. My husband has become a patient and my son will soon be joining us as well.

Dr Nilges office is amazing to say the least! His staff is always so welcoming & they make you feel so comfortable! I also have to add that they allow my 3 year old son to go to my dentist appointments with me & that Is great! Love this office & would highly recommend!

My family and I have been going to Dr. Nilges for over a decade now. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about him and his staff. We have had all of our cleanings done here as well as the occasional filling or other procedure. Everyone is friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. They are up to date on technology and procedures. They are great about getting the billing done quickly and easily. They worked so hard to coordinate my daughter's cleanings with her orthodontist. I couldn't imagine going anywhere else.

The dr is very gentle. I use to never like going to the dentist but he has made the experience so great in every way , that I now look forward to to next appointment. Thank you dr for making my dental experience so pain free and fear free. I recommend everyone especially people who have had a traumatizing experience with a dentist in the past.

The business management side of this dental practice is sketchy. I always ask what my co-pay is and pay before services. Numerous times, 6 to 8 months later at my next appointment, I'm told by the front desk people that I have a balance due. When asked for an explanation, I get a 2-minute spiel that leaves me more confused than when I learned I owe more money to them. Their website states "we will send you a monthly statement." That is not true. I have never been sent an itemized statement for services I paid for, nor ever been sent a bill for balances they say are due. I have not figured out whether this is an inept business or I am being scammed out of my money. I've decided to take my business elsewhere. Beware.

It took me a while to find a good Dentist up here in Redding... Finally!! A place I love, The Dentist and all the teeth cleaning people, even the front desk people. They're all great! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THESE GUYS!!

Was very nice at first,. But doesn't care to fix a problem that was his fault completely....and then leaves it to his receptionist to clean up his mess..so I've been ran around and around to find out he has charged me 27,000 dollars ...and he failed to tell me 2 implants were were removed ony last visit ..due to his mistake....very unprofessional....and a crook....I need two major surgeries now. And nasal surgery....very upset as anyone would be ....thanks

Dr. Nilges did an excellent job to restore my crown on my dental implant that had been broken for some time...his expertise- on this very specialized craft - was spot on and far superior to the crowns I had done by another dentist, that I will leave un-named. I spent several months going to appointments with other dentists, but none of them had sufficient tools and training to restore my implant. Dr. Nilges efficiency repaired my crown with such attention to detail that I was shocked to see how good my smile looked when he handed me the mirror when everything was done! He is a gifted artist in his profession and I have already recommended him to friends and family.

10 stars. Love love love Dr. Nilges. He is gentle and puts you at ease. Not only is he my dentist, but all 5 of my children. My daughter has had some bad experiences in the past with other dentists. She has been going to Dr. Nilges for years now and feels safe and relaxed. Even my 2 year old loves going to the dentist! Grateful for his care.
