He then went on to attend West Virginia University Dental School from 1994-1998, where he graduated at the top of his class. At WVU, he had the good fortune to be mentored by two delegates of the American Board of Prosthodontists. Dr. Vance then completed a general practice residency at Charleston Area Medical Center, where he received extensive training working with medically compromised patients.
Since 1999, he has held several positions in private practice, each affording him an opportunity to hone his dental expertise and skills. He has attended over 600 hours of continuing education in cosmetic and implant dentistry over the past decade alone. His top priority is his patients well-being and satisfaction.

Dr. Vance is the best dentist! He is impeccable in his work and infact is so good that when my insurance changed and Dr. Vance was no longer in network I am willing to pay out of pocket! I also have three friends that see Dr. Vance now who wouldn't go anywhere else!

I feel like both Ashton and Dr. Vance were very thorough and had my dental health as their priority. Ashton put a lot of work into cleaning my teeth and they really felt clean. Dr. Vance was very nice and friendly and went over what I could expect in the future. I liked them both very much.

Dr. Vance's office is great. I have been going there for years. All of the staff has been very friendly and personable. Ashton, one of their many great techs, is awesome! They are always efficient without a lot of idle time in the back waiting to complete your appointment, which I greatly appreciate. Keep up the good work team!

BEST DENTIST EVER! We had bad experiences with dentists and I was so happy to find Dr Vance and his team. My son has special needs and they were so patient with him and so sweet. They made him feel so comfortable and did not rush him. They went at his speed and made the visit wonderful. They gave my son cool glasses to keep the bright light out of his eyes during the exam. Ashley was such a great hygienist and I will see if I can get her every time for my son. I moved the whole family there just because of this visit. My son had fun and got a prize when he was done. The office is clean organized with beautiful spacious rooms. The staff was very welcoming and kind. The kids waiting room area is very nice with great toys for the kids to play with. They send great text reminders for your appointments before and the day of which is wonderful if you have a busy day.

Appointments times were reliable with. very little delay. Staff was very courteous and helpful. Dr Vance was very thorough when I asked questions about my procedure. He was very patient with me and encouraged me to call if I had more questions. The cost of my procedure, questions if my insurance would cover the cost, and payment schedule were clearly explained on the initial visit. During my procedure Dr Vance made sure i was comfortable and kept me informed. Post procedure instructions were clearly detailed by staff. Overall a very positive experience.

They're the best. They take care of my teeth with such meticulous care I feel guilty if I don't do the same. They're like a personal trainer for your mouth. Plus the front desk people will fight to get insurance to pay what they're supposed to pay.

I have been going to Dr. Vance's office for years. I never dread going to the dentist like some other people do. My experiences are always great. I could go to other dentist that are closer to me but I much rather make the drive to ensure my care / my financial needs / my scheduling needs are all going to be taken in to consideration. I would highly recommend this office.

I have never enjoyed going to the dentist and have put it off for a couple years. When I came to Vance, they didn't scold me like so many other dentists. They understood my situation and worked with me to relieve my tooth pain as well as come up with a plan to effectively get my mouth back on track.

He understood my anxiety and the procedures themselves were quick and painless compared to anywhere else I've been and the whole staff are all so friendly.
