Dr. Milo and his staff are not as bad as the reviews make it out to be. They are courteous and have two offices and most of the time straight forward about the procedures. Just ask them, My kids have been going to him for 2.5 years now. Granted the parents are not allowed in the back, but they give you the tour of the office before the kids are seen. My boys love the after-visit where they can get a token to use on the machine. Not everyone will get along with a clinician. It's like finding a family friend.

i wish I could give this place 0 starts. I was traumatized! I used to go here when I was younger and Dr.Milo is the absolute rudest! I had to come in and get a crown . Like most kids there scared and they would not let my parent in the back with me . I started crying and when Dr.Milo entered he yelled at me to SHUT UP and other rude things . I then calmed down . While they were numbing me with needles I and raised my legs. Dr.Milo stopped everything he was doing grabbed my legs and slammed them down on the table . I was only 4 at the time and can remember like it was yesterday. Such a horrible place to bring your kids !!!!!!

Dr Milo Is a very nice Doctor to the kids the hygienist are kind to my kid would recommend it

I just took my 4 year old to Dr. Milo in Melbourne at Brevard Pediatrics Dental Associates and had the WORST experience thus far. When I scheduled the appointment I was told that the first one would be just to explore the office and get him comfortable with it. We arrived this morning and they wanted to do x rays right away. (I mentioned he has a tooth that may be bothering him when he brushes). He willingly sat in the chair and then they put the thing in his mouth for the x Ray and tried to hold his mouth closed. He instantly started melting down. She then called for someone to hold him down and he was so upset so I told them to stop. The tech said "if we can't do x rays then what do you want from us?". I mentioned again how this appointment wasn't suppose to be for anything but to get him comfortable and she said "I really don't believe that. We don't do that here. That's a waste of an appointment". "Maybe you should come back at a time that he might be more compliant". I went to go to the front desk to check out and Dr. Milo yells across the room "I just have to ask. No offense but why are you asking a 4 year old if it's okay to get x rays. Of course any kid is going to say no they don't want to". I reminded him that this was suppose to be a visit just to get use to the office and that I did not prepare him for x rays and what not. He then says "so if he had a bad tooth and needed it checked you wouldn't just make him and let us hold him down. That doesn't make sense. He's a 4 year old". Then he started shaking his head and laughing with the other lady. This is the first time I have ever experienced such a horrible experience with a dentist/doctor in my life. Dr. Milo was rude and unprofessional. I am still sitting in my car almost 30 mins later crying bc I am so upset. Being a parent to a kid with special needs are hard enough as it is. But to have a medical professional question your parenting while you are already struggling to calm your child down is beyond me. I just wanted to share my experience in hopes that no other parents have to feel the way I did in that situation.

I would leave 0 stars if I could. This place is horrendous. I thought the front office staff was overworked but they are actually just horrible at the Melbourne office. I had several unpleasant encounters with scheduling and I thought the paperwork was a little weird because they requested permission to restrain children if necessary and I've never seen that in dental paperwork. But I took my children anyway and immediately the woman at the front desk was so rude. She called the other office because there was a miscommunication with the appointment and while discussing my children she called my son a completely different Hispanic name and said "or whatever that is" after. She didn't even care to say my child's name right. I don't want to make it a race thing but she was able to read and speak clearly aside from that so make what you will of that. And it's a really common and easy to read name. So, that's definitely not an issue. This whole ordeal was so upsetting and I would never ever consider taking my children there. I feel bad for this dentist because he didn't even get an opportunity to see my children because of his horrendous staff.

Awful! If you child has anxiety or disability of any kind, don't even consider this place. My kid has anxiety, we told them this when we made the apt. They would not let me in the room to hold her hand ( or the building for that matter). They just come out to the car and retrieve my child from me. She was so scared to be with strangers without me there. She kept saying from the get go, "I'm scared. I want my mommy" they wouldn't let me in, or even talk to me to say, Hey, she is upset, what can we do to sooth her. So, when she stated have a panic attack, the dental assistant literally attempted to "hold her down" while the dentist attempted to force access into her mouth, causing her to have a complete melt down. They then had the nerve to say the problem was with my child! Needless to say, nothing got done in her mouth and now she is even more freaked out about going to the dentist. Will not be returning and they need to be investigated.

Pathetic accounting staff!! I was billed extra and my insurance statement showed that I owe money back. I visited Melbourne office and requested for a refund. I was told all of the accounting/refund is done at their Merritt Island office and my request will be forwarded. It's been over a month and I have not received the refund. when I call back, I am given a reason that my papers were put in a wrong place. I am wondering if "All balances from patients over 30 days are late charged", why not pay a penalty for late refunds?

Extremely untrustworthy- dishonest - pretends to be knowledgeable but is not at all. Don't ever entrust your child's smile to them.

Absolutely a questionable place !!! I just walked out of there a minute ago. After being told I was not allowed to go in the back with my 4 yr old who can't even talk well, never been to a dentist, has a tooth ache, an being told the dentist was stubborn and wouldn't allow it no matter what. I'm pretty sure I'm gonna file a complaint and see about having this place investigated. No reviews at any of their offices but yet the operate like this ? Let's see how long this review stays posted. It's 12/2/19.

Spoke with a woman on the phone who was rude and unsympathetic to my child's emergency of almost busting a tooth out his mouth. Would not let me schedule an appointment unless I call back with the card information even though I said I'm at work and didn't have access to it currently. I've been to places that hold your spot and send you an email with the information they need from you. After seeing other bad reviews I figured I'd add in an extra one for good measure.

The Staff is nice and courteous when I call. Dr. Milo is knowledgeable, good bedside manners with kids, and I have no complaints.

Great place to bring your kids. Everyone is so friendly, helpful and very explanatory. They take their time and make sure you do not have any unanswered questions. My kids are happy here and feel comfortable.

Don't bother- they're clearly too lazy to deal with scheduling you. I called this place in the morning for an appointment and the woman who answered told me she worked in the back and would have to have the lady at the front desk call me back later. A few hours later I hadn't heard back, so I called again. This time a different woman answered and, speaking really quickly, told me she'd call me back at 1:00pm because the phones were about to switch over. Never heard back. I figured I'd call one more time, because this place is super close and I was really wanting to go here for the convenience. I called the following morning and she put me on hold almost immediately and didn't come back. I ended up hanging up. Such ridiculous service!
